Finding out that I am Shephardic, Askenazi Jew and/or Melungeon “Mulatto/Indian.”

My grandfather was called “Black Dutch” and married an alleged Negro Cherokee, which I had heard was 100% but I am not sure. Grandpap MIller was an unusual very light skinned looking ‘black’ man. Handsome. His name is Charles Miller and his wife was Caroline Green-Miller hailed from West Virginia. And yes, I found out that I am related to some Green(s) from West Virginia as well. During research I found out that I am possibly Shephardic or Askenazi Jew or Melungeon “Mulatto/Indian.” Check out the video below.

I was adopted when his son (my father) shot my mom, Esther Rachel Scott, and himself when I was only 3 months old and I moved around a lot, so I only know what I’ve heard from a 1st cousin also named “Charles/Chuckie.” I always felt that I was Jewish somewhere in my veins.

I went to and graduated from a Bible School that was said to be related to the Amish somehow. The female Dr who signed my License to preach had the name of Anna Mae Strausser. (hint for me.) Allegedly they didn’t believe in doctors or health insurance, etc. I felt that I was ‘being led by God’ to go to that school as soon as I saw their ad in the local newspaper. Some people said my grandfather was Pennsylvania Dutch mostly and I also heard “Black Dutch.” My Uncle Dickie Butler had a lot of pics for me but he passed before I could get them .

Since I start preaching in 1992 I always ‘felt’ something within me about Jews. It’s hard to explain. My daughter laughs at me lovingly when I say or do certain things and she says, “Mom’s Jew is coming out!” She loves it. I even unusually favored Jewish shows, etc on tv all these years. Yes, Seinfeld, the Nanny, Meet the Fockers, Barbara Streisand, actors, comedians, etc. Well, Robert Deneiro kinda let me down because I loved his films but…..anywhooo… It’s weird but I can spot them out and watch for years. As long a television stays raunchy, I will continue to watch them.

Charles and Caroline Green-Miller, Aunts and Uncles and my dad is the Statue-esk guy with his hand on his hip. Now I see where I get the small shoulders. Can’t keep a strap on ’em if I paid them to stay up there. 🙂

My grandma had long, black hair, it’s all I heard about. The Millers were farming people(s). I also heard from a cousin that they had a farm and grew vegetables and sold them at the local stores. I know they loved farming, it’s in my veins too. Sometimes my daughter and I cry thinking about living on a farm or something where we don’t have to stare into the windows of others and say “Good morning” and hold an hours conversation just to get the mail each day. It’s nice but it’s not us. I spend a lot of time in my Study studying the Word of God so I can preach each sunday at 10 o’clock on You Tube @revessie. I can’t sit around and sip tea with everyone and gossip about people. It’s just not me. My daughter is a sort of introvert too. We are not evil or mean, we just like to be left alone. Sounds mean, I apologize because we are very friendly people. It’s hard to explain. I will not answer my door if you don’t tell me that you are coming. My privacy, my choice. I heard the Miller’s were like that too. I had an Uncle tell me once that another Uncle pulled a shotgun out on him because he didn’t call first and he couldn’t tell who he was pulling up his hill to his house. We laughed but he said it scared him.
