Good Wednesday Morning! 3/31/21

Mat 27:32  And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
Mat 27:40  And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
Luk 23:26  And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.
Joh 19:19  And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.
1Co 1:17  For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

Gal 6:12  As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
Eph 2:16  And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
Php 2:8  And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Col 1:20  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
Col 2:14  Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Heb 12:2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

This March weather is confusing.

The old saying that “you won’t be able to know the seasons besides the changing of the leaves of the trees” is true and quite biblical.

It’s March 30th and I want to start gardening and doing outside stuff but it’s not really time. I have my Zucchini plants outside but I had to cover them with a black bag last night due to an alleged upcoming frost (that never came.)

My Blackberry bush is doing well after I cut about 3 feet off of it so it can grow wide instead of tall and wobbly. I’ve been trying to shape it for three years now since planting it.

I can see that our bushes ( neighbors and I) are just beginning to slightly turn green but it’s not fast enough for me. After this odd so-called Winter, I need some normalcy but, my friends, I think those days are gone. The bushes and trees are ready due to the beautiful 🌞but the Earth 🌎 is still cool.

Oh well! Here I sit, still attempting to exercise patience. Patience can be nerve-wracking but boy is the outcome excellent.

Have a great and 🌞 day fellow gardeners. And yes, I have some painting to do this Summer. 😉

Good Tuesday Morning! 3/30/21

Just as all darkness is under the ‘feet’ of the Sun so should it be under yours. Stay holy or in some cases, get saved.

2Sa 23:4  And he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain.
Psa 19:4  Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
Psa 19:5  Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
Psa 19:6  His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

Col 3:23  And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
Col 3:24  Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Col 3:25  But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

Colossians 3:18—4:1

HOME AND BUSINESS RELATIONS

From these high flights into the eternal and divine, Paul turns to the daily duties of the home, and demands that in the simplest domestic concerns the disciple should ever keep in mind the high claims of Christ. No act of life can be left outside the sacred enclosure of His everlasting love. As the moon affects the tides around the world, even in the smallest indentations of the coast, so must the power of Christ’s resurrection make itself felt in the behavior of the servant and the child.

It is especially beautiful to notice the Apostle’s constant reference to the bond-slaves who formed so important an element in the early Church. There they learned that in Christ all souls were free, and that in Him also master and slave were brethren. Stealing out at night from the arduous labors of his lot, many a poor slave would return with new conceptions of his daily tasks, to be applied to the service rendered to his Lord. No angel in heaven’s high temple has more definite service to the King than any honest and industrious servant may daily render to Jesus. Here is the dignity of labor indeed! And, masters, remember your Master.

Why do we praise?

I.  What is praise?

A. Praise is an expression of honor, glory, and adoration given to God in thanksgiving for what He has done. It is an outward manifestation of an inward, heart-felt gratitude of the love and power of God.

1. “doxa” glory, dignity, honor, praise, worship, to applaud, speak well of.          \

2. We are giving our approval of God, especially in song.

3. If we read in Psalm 67:3, 139:14, 9:11, 147:12, 148:1, 150:1 & 50:23, we will see that is is      not drudgery!

1. Psalm 27:6, Psalm 149:6

4. Revelation 4:8 says that even the angels cry out in praise, “Holy Holy Holy!”

5. Don’t let the devil condemn you, as long as you have breath you can praise the Lord.

B. Press in! The dead cannot praise God (Spiritual dead.) Only true praise comes from the spirit that’s alive.

1. Praise God for a four-fold reason: 1 Peter 2:9

a. chosen generation

b. royal priesthood

c. holy nation

d. peculiar people (you don’t / shouldn’t fit in with the World.)

C. Enter into God’s presence

1. Psalm 100:4

2. Matt 6:9 we are told to begin praying and give honor to God “hallowed.”

3. Every prayer recorded in the Word begins with praise to God.

4. Without praise and worship we cannot correctly come before God in the humble attitude needed.

D. We are created to praise Revelation 4:11

1. A true believer has a desire to praise God, for the spirit within many was made for God’s pleasure.

2. Not entering in means that YOU ARE IN BONDAGE! The people clapping and singing, dancing or running around the church are not of the devil, you are! You are being placed in bondage and you do not have  a free heart to worship God.

E. God inhabits your praise. That’s on of the best reasons to do so. God lives in the praise of His people.  Don’t you want Him to live in you?

2. This means that He sits down, dwells, remains, settles, marries you.

3. Praise makes a throne for God to sit on, to dwell upon. Make His Throne large and strong and beautiful. Build upon it. As we praise Him in the public meeting, the King comes in among us and sits upon the Throne of Praise.

Lastly: Praise is the Key to having a relationship, a communion (Koinonia – Greek) with God. Acts 13:1-4

Good Monday Morning! 3/29/21

Jesus came for us to live an abundant life. Pray that everyone gains that understanding.

John 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Hebrews 6:17  Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

John 10:7-18

JESUS THE GOOD SHEPHERD
He who came in by the door which John the Baptist opened has become the door. It stands open to all comers-if any man. The salvation here mentioned refers to the entire process of soul-health: go in for fellowship; go out for service.
Wherever destruction is uppermost in speech or act, you may detect the presence of the great enemy of souls. Christ is ever constructive, saving, life-giving. Let us not be content until our life has become abundant life. Our life cost the Shepherd’s life. He did not hesitate to interpose Himself between the sheep and the wolf of hell. There is possible between our Lord and ourselves an intimacy of knowledge which can be compared to nothing less than that which subsists between the Father and Himself.
Note how our Lord looked beyond the hurdles of the Jewish fold and thought tenderly of the Gentile sheep that were far away. In the revelation committed to the Apostle Paul He gave vent to His love, and through the succeeding centuries He has ever sought them. There may be many folds, but there can be only one flock. Men die because they cannot help it; Christ was born that He might die; He died because He would.

Palm Sunday/Passover 2021

Dear Heavenly Father: (Invocation of the Holy Spirit.) Amen.
(Palm Sunday/Passover Prayer)

Blessed Palm Sunday to you today and always. I pray that your day is peaceful and full of love , sharing and caring. We all need more of that in this world wouldn’t you say? I miss not having Palms on Sunday like we used to do when we had our church in Houston, Pa and California, Pa. the brothers and sisters there loved them. I used to be able to make the leaves into a cross but it’s been so long now, I may need some refreshing. We sure had a great time in those days making and distributing them. It seems that you get a million of those things out of one section! It would take Jesus to multiply the blessings like that, amen? Another miracle with a tree branch which is on a more positive note, unlike the tree that Jesus had to curse to the root for ‘pretending’ to look flourishing but wasn’t. In fact the fig tree parable even turned out to be positive for us because it was a lesson for us to learn about the power within. I use the phrase “pretending to look flourishing” because Jesus spoke to the tree and the tree heard Him, AND obeyed! In fact, it’s the same chapter that we are in now, Matt 21:18-20 If the tree couldn’t hear, why would Jesus speak to it? Everyone and everything obeys the voice of Jesus and those who refuse, have a very warm place to live for an eternity, no air conditioning, no water. Unbelievers will not be able to use God’s super-utilities in Hell. As Flip Wilson’s character “Geraldine” used to say “What you see is what you get,” and in this case, everlasting and uncontrollable fire.
Let’s open our swords to Matthew chapter 21 and I will read verse 1 verse 11.
The Triumphal Entry
Mat 21:1  Now when they drew near Jerusalem, and came to (Beth-fage or Beth-fa-gee) Bethphage, (means House of Figs) at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, Mat 21:2  saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me.

Mat 21:3  And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them,’ and immediately he will send them.”
Mat 21:4  All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying:
Mat 21:5  “TELL THE DAUGHTER OF ZION, ‘BEHOLD, YOUR KING IS COMING TO YOU, LOWLY, AND SITTING ON A DONKEY, A COLT, THE FOAL OF A DONKEY.’ “
Mat 21:6  So the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them.
Mat 21:7  They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, and set Him on them.
Mat 21:8  And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
Mat 21:9  Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!’ Hosanna in the highest!”
Mat 21:10  And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, “Who is this?”
Mat 21:11  So the multitudes said, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”

May the Lord add a blessing to the reading of his word in Jesus name amen.

We have the power of God in us. Your brother Joshua spoke to the Sun and told it to stay up until Israel won the battle and the Sun stayed! AND! Israel won the battle. Nature speaks and nature hears as well. How else did God create everything? It hears. Genesis 1 “God said, God said, God said.” And…it happened. God spoke to dirt and trees, birds and animals appeared. Speak to your problems folks and the power of God will cause you to rise above that situation that you may be going through and your blessings will appear.

Palm Sunday and Passover are very important events in Hebrew History and for the believers who are grafted in. Matthew 21 tells the account of how Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey as the people threw their clothes and palms on the ground beneath Him. That is such a high honor to have someone place their clothes on the ground for you to walk upon as men used to do women in the old days if you remember. That means that you are a very highly respected person by someone who feels that the things on the ground, that can harm you, should be covered up in order that you will be safe. They they gave it their best when they saw Him approaching their area. We should also give it our best when we ‘see’ (mainly ‘feel’) Jesus when He, with His Holy Spirit approaches. Do as He says, allow God to use you. Give God your best, give God…YOU!
At the beginning of Matthew chapter 21 we see that Jesus told to disciples to specifically go into the village and find an ass tied and a colt with her and he told them to loose them and bring them to him. And he says if anybody asks you what you’re doing just tell them that the Lord has need of them and he said once you say that, straight way they will send them. Jesus knew ahead of time that these people will allow his disciples to bring what he needed for what he was about to do. Jesus can see in the past, the present, and the future, we must remember that. Jesus can see your victories before you even begin to experience the battle.

Jesus was actually fulfilling prophecy as in Zachariah chapter 9 verse nine that says “rejoice greatly oh daughter of Zion shout out daughter of Jerusalem. Behold thy King cometh unto thee, he is just and having salvation lowly and riding upon an ass and upon a colt, the foal of an ass.” We serve an awesome God who would not tell us to be humble if he wasn’t humble himself. He could’ve had any strong and strapping horse that he wanted instead of a slow and sometimes stubborn donkey. Jesus made an example for people in the future who would be riding to church events, or those Evangelists who travel from state to state, not in a Mercedes or Beemer but in a Ford Pinto or AMC Gremlin with a busted water pump. Notice that he didn’t even separate the mother donkey from the child (the colt) even though it was going to happen to him. Jesus even had compassion on animals. It was a mother because he specifically used the female gender terminology. This more than proves that females can be used by Jesus.

Jesus had a huge following. (verse 9) The bible uses the word “multitudes.” The people began to shout “Son of David! Blessed is he comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna (save I pray, rescue, Savior!) in the highest!” And for them to call him ‘son of David’ they recognized that he was a leader. Many of them follow Jesus around and witnessed miracles and were healed themselves by him. They saw his power firsthand. And if you were ever in entertainment like I was we would call some of these people roadies. Some of you out there may get that. A roadie is a person who is employed by touring band of musicians to set up and maintain equipment. This is the way that we should treat our spiritual leaders. I am very afraid that leaders are getting disrespected anymore and I do believe that it is because of the wannabes who make it look bad for everybody else. Church – where has our discernment gone? Why is the church so easily lead anymore? Why are we so easily led by sleight of hand? And if you think about it slight of hand is what magicians do. Selah. Leaders now a days have learned how to speak, when to get quieter or louder, how to construct their sentences and so forth have no anointing whatsoever. They learn how to look and dress, speak and do the proverbial crescendo’s but God is not in it! They’ve even learned what hairstyles and clothes ‘attract’ the listener instead of allowing the Word of God attract the listener. And people fall for it hook, line and sinker.

When Jesus rode into Jerusalem with all of the people surrounding him giving him proper respect as they should have, there were of course inescapable questions. People were wanting to know who he was. They were saying “Who is this?” And the multitude said , “this is Jesus the Prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.” As I was researching this years ago I found that JESUS was doing healings amongst all of the people in the little towns near Jerusalem. This is how they knew him because of the beautiful things that he did for them. And just think he didn’t even have to use slight-of-hand which is only temporal magic, or entertainment, he was literally giving people a newness they had not experienced before straight from the throne of God, straight from the Golden and Sapphire Throne. The ‘woke’ ones followed him, the hard-hearted or spiritually blind or doubting ones didn’t. Some people may appreciate what you do for them and others will not just like the lepers who got healed and only one, (1/10th) came back to thank him. (Luke 17:12.) That means something to me. A tenth gave God glory and thanks. What else can you think of that is 1/10 that gives God glory and thanks? I digress.

Further in the chapter when he is turning the tables on the money changers in the temple, telling them that they had turned his fathers house into a den of thieves, he quotes another prophecy to them from Psalm chapter 8 verse 2 that says “yay, have you never read out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou has perfected praise?” Jesus loves the little children surely. While reading Matthew chapter 21, I cannot help but to discern by the Holy Spirit, that Jesus must have thought about the Roman soldiers gambling for his special garment as he was beaten, spit upon, slapped, WWB (walking while bleeding,) hanging on the Cross, dying for you and me, while watching the people in the temple exchanging goods and animals and God only knows what else, for money. Now here’s the catch. I preached a few Sundays ago in my “Get out of the System” message, this world is being run by the devils commerce. (The act of buying and selling.) He tells his imps – who is to get money, and who is not going to get money. That is not Gods way of providing for his people. In fact one of Gods names is Jehovah Jireh our provider. (Gen 22:14 ) God would never have people use his temple, which as Jesus said is a place of prayer, as a market place. Actually the marketplace and the temple were to be two separate entities. There is no where in the Bible where it tells us that Jesus went to the temple to buy anything. When he was a teenager he went to the temple to read the word of God to his elders. They even said that they never heard anyone speak as strongly and wisely as Jesus did. There was no selling of doves, no coins, no gold, no silver, no notes. Just the word.

Now, on to Passover. Passover is a celebration of when the Jews were freed from slavery. Exodus Chapters 3-14
God brought 10 plagues upon the Egyptian’s until they agreed to let the Jews go from their land. They were all forced into backbreaking labor, building cities of treasure Houses for Pharaoh and even dying in Egypt as well. It was a very frightening place.

After Moses was released from being a Prince because he was outed as being a Jew, he married one of Jethro’s daughters, was called by God to lead the Hebrews, and continued to tell hard-hearted Pharaoh to let God’s people go. Pharaoh repeatedly refused each request. Aaron’s staff turns into a snake and swallows the magic sticks of the Egyptian sorcerers. There is no power equal to our Father’s power.

Pharaoh still refuses to let the Jews go. Moses warns him that G‑d will smite Egypt. Pharaoh remains untouched. G‑d begins to send a series of plagues upon the Egyptians. In the throes of each plague, Pharaoh promises to let the Children of Israel go; but he reneges the moment the affliction is removed.

1) Aaron strikes the Nile, the waters turn to blood;

2) Swarms of frogs overrun the land;

3) Lice infest all men and beasts. Still, Pharaoh remains stubborn;

4) Hordes of flies invade the cities,

5) a pestilence kills the domestic animals,

6) painful boils afflict the Egyptians.

7) Fire and ice combine to descend from the skies as a devastating hail. Still, “the heart of Pharaoh was hardened and he would not let the children of Israel go; as G‑d had said to Moses.”
The people of Egypt have suffered too much. They beg Pharaoh to let the Jews go. When Moses comes to warn Pharaoh of the eighth plague, Pharaoh says: You say that you want to go serve your G‑d? I’ll let the men go, as long as the women and children stay behind. No, says Moses, we must all go, men women and children, cattle and herds. Pharaoh once again refuses.
The next plagues descends upon Egypt.

8) a swarm of locusts devours all the crops and greenery;

9) a thick, palpable darkness envelops the land.
The Israelites are instructed to bring a “Passover offering” to G‑d: a lamb or kid is to be slaughtered and its blood sprinkled on the doorposts and lintel of every Israelite home, so that G‑d should pass over these homes when He comes to kill the Egyptian firstborn. The roasted meat of the offering is to be eaten that night together with matzah (unleavened bread) and bitter herbs.
Then G‑d brings the tenth plague upon Egypt,

10) all the firstborn of Egypt are killed at the stroke of midnight of the 15th of the month of Nissan.
Exodus chapter 12 – God tells Moses how to perform the Passover by getting a lamb without blemish, kill it and place it’s blood by using hyssop dipped in it, on the two side posts and upper post of each house’s door and remain inside. They also have to eat the meat, roasted in fire, with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. (No raw meat! Like we practically eat today which is most likely not kosher.) 12:12 God says that He will pass through the land of Egypt that night and will smite all of the firstborn in the land, both man and beast because He is the Lord. The blood shall be a token upon the houses where the were and when He sees it He will pass over them. Pasach “to hop over.” God tells them to place the blood on the posts because without a foundation there is no door!

The Exodus: Soon after allowing the Children of Israel to depart from Egypt, Pharaoh chases after them to force their return, and the Israelites find themselves trapped between Pharaoh’s armies and the sea. G‑d tells Moses to raise his staff over the water; the sea splits to allow the Israelites to pass through, and then closes over the pursuing Egyptians. Moses and the Children of Israel sing a song of praise and gratitude to G‑d. And this is not the only account of the Red Sea splitting for God’s people. If He split their barriers then, He can do it for you too.
KEY SYMBOLS OF THE PASSOVER

The Lamb
“In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb.. , . “Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year….
“And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening” (Exodus 12:3, 5-6).
In the Book, Christ In the Passover, Ceil and Moishe Rosen point out that “the family had to watch it [the lamb] carefully for four days before the Passover to make sure it was healthy and perfect in every way…. It must have won the affection of the entire household” (Chicago: Moody Press, 1978], pp. 25-26).
Killing the lamb truly became a sacrifice.  The price that had to be paid foreshadowed the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.  The scriptures refer to Jesus as the Lamb of God over forty times.
Just as Israel was saved by the blood of the paschal lamb, we are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, “our passover [who was] sacrificed for us” (1 Corinthians 5:7).  It is important to point out the following parallels between the paschal lamb and the life of Christ:

  1.   Both were the firstborn, without blemish (see Exodus 12:5).
  2.   Both were to have no broken bones; the paschal lamb was to be prepared whole (see Exodus 12:46).
  3.   Both the paschal lamb’s and Christ’s blood were to be used as a token and sign of redemption (see Exodus 12: 13).
  4.    Both the paschal lamb’s and Christ’s blood was spilled; the blood of the paschal lamb flowed into the bason (see Exodus 12:22).
At the Seder, an unbroken, roasted shankbone now represents the lamb and its sacrifice.
    The Unleavened Bread (Matzah)
Matzah symbolizes the haste in which the Israelites left Egypt; they did not have time to wait for their bread dough to rise.  Leaven, referred to in the scriptures and by Church leaders as both a good symbol (as in the parable of the leaven in Matthew 13:33) and a symbol for sin (as in Matthew 16:6), is used to increase the mass of bread dough prior to baking.  In Hebrew, the word matzah means sweet.  The Hebrew word for leavened bread is chomatz, which also means sour or bitter.  The same leavening agents that make bread rise can also spoil it if they ferment too long.  Thus, the Apostle Paul said, “Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened….
“Therefore let us keep the feast, not with the old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” (1 Corinthians 5:7-8).
As part of their preparation for the Passover, Jews remove all the leaven (bread and its ingredients) from their homes, they neither eat nor have leavened items in their homes for the entire eight-day period (see Exodus 12:19).
At the beginning of the modem Seder, three pieces of matzah are wrapped in a cloth and set aside for use during the ceremony.  Jews have a number of different interpretations of what the three matzot (plural form) represent.  Some say the matzot symbolize the three divisions of Judaism-priests, Levites, and Israelites-united as one.  Others say they represent the three great patriarchs: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  We may see allusions to the three personages of the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.  This last interpretation is compelling as we see how these three matzot are used.
After the first cup of wine (grape juice) and the washing of the hands (see John 13:4-5), the middle of the three matzot (the Son) is broken into two pieces, a large piece and a smaller one.  The large piece, called the afikomen (the dessert), is wrapped in a napkin and hidden in the room for later use, after the meal is consumed, the children search the room for the missing afikomen. When the children find the afikomen, the leader of the Seder must pay a ransom to the child who found it.  After the leader pays the ransom, the afikomen can be eaten by all.  It is the last thing eaten at the Seder.  At this point in the Last Supper, Jesus instituted the sacrament.  Jesus and his disciples ate the afikomen, which represented his body, and drank the third cup of wine, the cup of redemption, which represented his blood (see Luke 22:19-20).
    Other Symbols and Their Meaning
Other foods traditionally eaten during the modern seder as well as their significance are listed below:
    • Bitter herbs remind us of the bitterness of slavery or the bitterness of sin in our lives.
    • Roasted eggs represent the second offering, known as the “festival or pilgrim offering.” The egg may also represent new life or the resurrection.
    • Haroset is a mixture of apples, dates, nuts, and grapes that represents the mortar used with bricks to build the Egyptian cities.
    • Greens dipped in salt water (to represent tears) symbolize the arrival of spring or the newness of life out of bondage.
The rich symbolism of the first Passover and the Jewish observance can be used to teach about the Lord’s use of types and symbols, particularly in the Old Testament, and to help better understand the scriptures.
Are you saved? Now is the time to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. With all that is going on around the world, you need a friend. Jesus can be that special friend if you allow Him into your life. He is your helper and His Holy Spirit is your Comforter.
If you are not saved, just repeat the Romans Road after me: Say “Jesus, I repent of my sins, I am so sorry Lord. I believe that you died on the cross and rose 3 days later from the dead, just for me and I accept what you have done, I accept you as my Savior. Thank you Jesus, amen.” Now go find a bible believing, Holy Ghost filled church and learn of Him, it’s never too late. Your new life starts now. All old things are gone away. God throws them as far as the East if from the West. Now….go live, laugh and love!

Num 6:24  The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
Num 6:25  The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
Num 6:26  The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Thank you for coming on today and I pray that your week goes by Victoriously!
Rev Essie signing off! God bless and have a great day!

Blessed Palm Sunday! 3/28/21

Mat 21:7  And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
Mat 21:8  And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
Mat 21:9  And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
Mat 21:10  And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
Mat 21:11  And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

Matthew 20:29—21:7
THE GREAT HEALER AND THE LOWLY KING
The Lord is always saying: What will ye that I shall do? Let us not ask small things. We honor Him by making great demands. Our greatest requests come far short of His generosity and resources. It seems as though we are always giving Him pain by the meagerness of our expectation. Whatever people say, cry out so much the more! But remember it is not the outcry, but your need and your faith which will arrest His steps.
Our Lord entered the city in fulfillment of prophetic vision, but in great lowliness, along the road carpeted by the loving enthusiasm of the crowds. It was largely a Galilean and popular outburst. The upper classes kept aloof. Remember that ancient prediction quoted here, Isa 62:11, and especially Zec 9:9. The King comes having salvation. That is the divine order! We shall never know the full power of Christ’s salvation until we have welcomed Him to our hearts as King.

Jesus’ walk was short but powerful for you (part 2)

New Birth Ministries

Upon researching tonight about Jesus’s walk from the Palace to Golgatha I am in tears of what our Savior went through. Watching old movies about His crucifixion just didn’t satisfy my soul. Hence in those six hours He was marched from this garden back to the other side of Jerusalem to be examined first by the ex High priest Annas, then by the Sanhedrin presided over by the High priest Caiaphas (Matt. 26:57, Mark 14:55) at night (when normally Sanhedrin trials were only permitted in daylight and not on the Sabbath), then taken to Pilate (Luke 23:1), then to Herod Antipas (Luke 23:7), then back to Pilate (Luke 23:11), sentenced, handed over to the soldiers to be dressed up as a mock-king, then dragged his cross to Golgotha to be crucified – all this in 6 hours?Annas and Caiaphas either occupied separate apartments in one building or had separate houses that shared one courtyard. (Compare John 18:12-27; Mark 14:53-72; Luke 22:54-71) Assuming this was near the Temple it was about 500 metres or five minutes walk from Gethsemene.Luke mentions 1 hour at the Annas/Caiaphas location (22:59) as only part of the time spent there. The Sanhedrin gathered at Caiaphas’ house (Mark 14:53) and met formally to try Jesus “when day came” (Luke 22:66) “early in the morning” (Mark 15:1).Governor Pontius Pilate lived at Caesarea on the coast but went to Jerusalem during major festivals. The Antonia Fortress stood next to the Temple. But Pilate probably did not stay there but rather in the palace of Herod Antipas. (John 18:28) Herod was ruler of Galilee and had a palace in Jerusalem and was there at the time.Herod’s palace was about 400 metres or 4 minutes walk from the Temple. The questioning of Jesus by Pilate could fit into half an hour, and by Herod less. Time is saved if messengers went ahead to announce Jesus was being brought.Whipping and mocking Jesus would require only minutes, perhaps 20. The cross or “tree” would have been ready-made rather than require felling while everyone waited.Jesus was crucified outside the city walls, probably outside the northern wall – several hundred metres from the Temple and perhaps 600 metres from Herod’s palace. The total distance from Gethsemane to the Crucifixion was about 1½ kilometres. Our Savior’s death was done in a place smaller than some of our cities and towns. That was a lot to go through in such a small space and place. His Blood covers the Believer still today. Such a small court in those days did what they “thought” would be so much damage, not realizing that their smallness in size made the Body of Christ to come enormous. I am glad to be a disciple of Yeshua HaMaschiach, Jesus the Christ aren’t you?

Good Friday Morning! 3/26/21

Say this, “I am the Righteousness of God, the Father and I are One, and by Jesus’ stripes I Am healed.” Amen. Now smile.

Joh 10:30  I and My Father are one.”
Joh 17:11  Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.
Joh 17:21  that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
1Co 8:6  yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
1Pe 2:24  who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

Heaven has no entry fee.

I know that I will not be liked for this one but, it happens. We have to be strong in the Lord to do the work of the Kingdom. With all of the persecution that I’ve been through recently I’d say that I am strong, especially with platforms trying to shut me down however they can. It’s only a sign that I am telling the truth of the Word to people and the devil is mad. I bind everything that tries to bind me, my household, family, friends, health, finances and ministry. In Jesus mighty and powerful name. Here goes:

Be careful listening to these new fandangled preachers who have been to Heaven and received ‘messages’ from God to take back to Earth. 1st of all, why would He trust man over His own Holy Spirit? Doesn’t the Holy Spirit live inside of us? And secondly, God doesn’t charge to see Him. I know that the Word says, “With God all things are possible” but I doubt that it includes paying taxes to hear God. When you purchase one of those “I’ve been to Heaven, come see what God says” books, you literally pay taxes to find out the message! You pay taxes on the books, CD’s and tapes! You pay taxes to “hear from God.” Look, nothing personal and I am not trying to be mean but….read the bible and get your OWN message – for free. I took a few classes from a few of our brother’s and sister’s ministries but they charged for the tools and time, not the Word and their classes are the bomb dot com. It costs a lot for what they do to help us to gain more wisdom. Some ministers mean well, it’s the only way to get their messages out worldwide, ministry “tools” are awesome but charging to hear “special Words” is not godly, it is Earthly, fleshly.

These folks sooner or later lose their regular godly ‘following’ and their numbers may still go up but the ones in the new numbers are the “Simon the Sorceror(s)” who want to purchase the gift of God. ref: Acts 8:9 Folks try to act like they don’t “follow” me (I suppose I am embarassing to them,) but I always end up hearing some type of correction from their sermons, etc. when I step on their toes. As old folks say, “throw a stone in a pack of dogs and the one that gets hit is gonna holler.” If you don’t like this, don’t say anything or people will know that you are one of the dogs that got hit ok? If you are not one of ‘them’ and you agree with this post in some way, don’t be shy, no one is going to hurt you for giving me a thumbs up or encouragement. I really don’t get much of that. Add your own piece in the comments section. I promise, I don’t bite. Have a great day!

Good Thursday Morning! 3/25/21

Give thanks with a grateful heart and be content with the evidence of joy.

Php 4:11  Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:
Php 4:12  I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
Php 4:13  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:10-23
“MY GOD SHALL SUPPLY EVERY NEED”
The Apostle had been glad to receive the gifts of his friends, because these evidenced their earnest religious life. It was fruit that increased to their account. On his own part he had learned one of the greatest of lessons-contentment with whatever state he found himself in. This is a secret that can only be acquired by our experience of life in the will of God. When once the soul lives in God and finds its highest ideal in the fulfillment of His will, it becomes absolutely assured that all things which are necessary will be added. All things are possible to those who derive their daily strength from God.
It is wonderful to hear Paul say that he abounded, Php 4:18. A prison, a chain, a meager existence! The great ones of the world would have ridiculed the idea that any could be said to abound in such conditions. But they could not imagine the other hemisphere in which Paul lived; and out of his own blessed experience of what Christ could do, he promised that one’s every need would be supplied. God’s measure is his riches in glory; and his channel is Jesus Christ. Let us learn from Php 4:18 that every gift to God’s children which is given from a pure motive is acceptable to Him as a fragrant sacrifice. That reference in Php 4:22 shows that Paul was making good use of his stay in Rome!

Good Wednesday Morning! 3/24/21

Good morning rich one. Jesus became poor on the Cross so that you, through him might be rich. See below.

2Co 8:9  For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
2Co 8:10  And in this I give advice: It is to your advantage not only to be doing what you began and were desiring to do a year ago;
2Co 8:11  but now you also must complete the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to desire it, so there also may be a completion out of what you have.
2Co 8:12  For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.
2Co 8:13  For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened;
2Co 8:14  but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance also may supply your lack—that there may be equality.
2Co 8:15  As it is written, “HE WHO GATHERED MUCH HAD NOTHING LEFT OVER, AND HE WHO GATHERED LITTLE HAD NO LACK.”

2 Corinthians 8:1-15
STIMULATING TO LIBERALITY
Surely the plea for a generous gift of money toward the collection which Paul was making for the poor saints in Jerusalem, could not have been more tenderly and convincingly urged than it is urged here. He begins by mentioning the generosity of the Christians in Philippi, Thessalonica, and Berea, who were very poor, the inference being that the wealthier Corinthians would make similar sacrifices. He quotes the example of the Lord Jesus, who made Himself poor that they might be enriched and who for nineteen centuries since has had the joy of enriching myriads of souls. Paul reminds the Corinthians that a year ago they had resolved to make this gift. Finally he sketches his fair dream of reciprocity between church and church, so that wherever there was need the supplies of Christian benevolence should flow forth to meet it.
Notice, then, that Christian liberality originates in the grace of God, ministers abundant joy to those who give, is not staunched by deep poverty, begins with the consecration of the giver’s soul to God, and does not wait to be entreated, because it demands the privilege of ministering thus to the lack of Christ’s body.

Good Tuesday Morning! 3/23/21

Don’t have faith in your faith, have faith in God. Only Jesus is your redeemer.

By Faith

Heb 11:1  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Heb 11:2  For by it the elders obtained a good report.

Hebrews 11:1-10
FAITH’S TRIUMPHS FROM ABEL TO ABRAHAM
Faith is the sixth sense. It makes us as sure of unseen or future things, which we know about only through the divine Word, as we are of things which we can see and touch. When we are aware of the reality of these things, we naturally take them into account when we act. Rothschild laid the foundation of his fortune because he had news that the battle of Waterloo had been won, a day before anyone else in Britain. That fact enabled him to buy up all the depressed money-shares, which rose with marvelous buoyancy as soon as the news was universally disseminated. Faith does this for us!
Noah built the ark because he believed that the flood would befall. Abraham left his country because he realized that Canaan would be his. The pilgrims and martyrs of all the ages have been derided by their companions, who would have acted similarly if only they had looked with faith into the unseen. And God never fails such. He always bears witness with His gifts.

Good Monday Morning! 3/22/21

Today’s a good day to tell someone about salvation. “More hands make light work!”

Come to Me, and I Will Give You Rest

Mat 11:25  At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

Mat 11:26  Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.

Mat 11:27  All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

Mat 11:28  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Mat 11:29  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Mat 11:30  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

God bless you everyone! Get your Swords, a drink and a snack, and maybe a tablet and pen and sit back and I’ll be back to delve into the Word right after we invoke the Holy Spirit.

Brothers and sisters, have you ever felt the call of God on your life but when you told someone about it, they didn’t believe you or tried to talk you out of it because you just “don’t fit the part” to them? Mistake number 1 would be believing man over God. And some are so bold to even laugh and say, “The Lord didn’t tell you diddly squat!” Know this, they did it to Moses as well. He had those problems also. But first of all, he had that problem within himself. He had to ask God to give Him a name to tell the people Gen 3:15, then he complained about his stuttering Gen 4:1 & 10,) the Lord told him that he would be Moses’ mouth and inspiration but Moses’ doubt in his own calling and power of God within him that he questioned God’s call TO God. (Vs 4:13) That was his neglect of duty. Never neglect the duty that God has called you to do. If you don’t expect to have non-believers then you are fooling yourself. There will be those who are going to question the fact that God uses you. They did the same to Nehemiah when he got permission to rebuild the wall from the King that had captures his people. All of his “I t e s” showed up and made fun of him and tried to stop him. You may feel lonely to where no one will be on your side, continue with Christ. Those that you thought would walk with you may turn away as they did Jesus in John 6:66 but keep following Jesus. Remember the song, “I have decided to follow Jesus.” It’s not a bad idea to do so. It’s the only way that you will win. Once you are hooked on Jesus and His Power and His love, you wouldn’t want to turn back even if your most valued loved ones turn against you.

Exo 3:9  Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.
Exo 3:10  Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.”
Exo 3:11  But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”
Exo 3:12  So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”
Exo 3:13  Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”
Exo 3:14  And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ “
Exo 3:15  Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’
Exo 3:16  Go and gather the elders of Israel together, and say to them, ‘The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared to me, saying, “I have surely visited you and seen what is done to you in Egypt;
Exo 3:17  and I have said I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.” ‘
Exo 3:18  Then they will heed your voice; and you shall come, you and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt; and you shall say to him, ‘The LORD God of the Hebrews has met with us; and now, please, let us go three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.’
Exo 3:19  But I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not even by a mighty hand.
Exo 3:20  So I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in its midst; and after that he will let you go.
Exo 3:21  And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed.
Exo 3:22  But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, namely, of her who dwells near her house, articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing; and you shall put them on your sons and on your daughters. So you shall plunder the Egyptians.”
Moses Given Powerful Signs
Exo 4:1  Then Moses answered and said, “But suppose they will not believe me or listen to my voice; suppose they say, ‘The LORD has not appeared to you.’ “
Exo 4:2  So the LORD said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod.”
Exo 4:3  And He said, “Cast it on the ground.” So he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it.
Exo 4:4  Then the LORD said to Moses, “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail” (and he reached out his hand and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand),
Exo 4:5  “that they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”
Exo 4:6  Furthermore the LORD said to him, “Now put your hand in your bosom.” And he put his hand in his bosom, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous, like snow.
Exo 4:7  And He said, “Put your hand in your bosom again.” So he put his hand in his bosom again, and drew it out of his bosom, and behold, it was restored like his other flesh.
Exo 4:8  “Then it will be, if they do not believe you, nor heed the message of the first sign, that they may believe the message of the latter sign.
Exo 4:9  And it shall be, if they do not believe even these two signs, or listen to your voice, that you shall take water from the river and pour it on the dry land. The water which you take from the river will become blood on the dry land.”
Exo 4:10  Then Moses said to the LORD, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”
Exo 4:11  So the LORD said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD?
Exo 4:12  Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.”
Exo 4:13  But he said, “O my Lord, please send by the hand of whomever else You may send.”
Exo 4:14  So the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and He said: “Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And look, he is also coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.
Exo 4:15  Now you shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do.
Exo 4:16  So he shall be your spokesman to the people. And he himself shall be as a mouth for you, and you shall be to him as God.
Exo 4:17  And you shall take this rod in your hand, with which you shall do the signs.”

Good Sunday Morning! 3/21/21

Focus on God and God will focus on you! Walk with Jesus daily and be blessed!

Joh 11:54  Therefore Jesus no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim, and there remained with His disciples.

Joh 12:35  Then Jesus said to them, “A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.

2Th 3:6  But we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw from every brother who walks disorderly and not according to the tradition which he received from us.

1Jn 1:7  But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Mat 5:13  “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

Mat 5:14  “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Mat 5:16  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Good Friday Morning! 3/19/21

Some blessings are for us to keep, some are for us to help others. Be a blessing today.

Be a conduit so God’s Power can flow not only to you but THROUGH YOU! God is a big God and owns everything so He has enough to share. Allow Him to use your hands, your mind and your heart. You won’t regret it.

Gen 43:11  And their father Israel said to them, “If it must be so, then do this: Take some of the best fruits of the land in your vessels and carry down a present for the man—a little balm and a little honey, spices and myrrh, pistachio nuts and almonds.

Genesis 43:1-15
THE BROTHERS RETURN WITH BENJAMIN
Joseph, in giving corn to save his own brethren and the Egyptians from starvation, is a type of our Lord, who gives the bread of life to Jew and Gentile-to all that come to Him in their hopeless need. And in this return of the full money in the sacks we are reminded that salvation is without money and without price. Whatever we bring to enrich Christ He returns to us. His gifts are all of His unmerited grace and favor. Very often we move forward with dread into the unknown; but that dread is the child of ignorance. If only we realized that love is waiting for us there, which does not ask for balm and honey, for spices and myrrh, but just for ourselves, how much happier life would become! Lift up your hearts; a feast awaits you!

Murder-suicide over money.

Poverty is a demon.

I lost both of my parents over money when I was only 3 months old with 9 other brothers and sisters older than me. There was an argument over domestic financial reasons and my father shot my mother and then shot himself. That curse of poverty tried to follow me all of my life. But God! So believe me when I tell you that tithing works. When you do, God adds a supernatural touch to your finances. Poverty is a demon. #sewListen to “Get out of the System!” by Esther R Scott ⚓ https://anchor.fm/revessie/episodes/Get-out-of-The-System-eshlt2and/or Tithes revised: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Krg6OwRgsIQ

Feeling out of sorts today?

Someone felt a bit out of sorts today but don’t worry, God sent healing to you today. You made it to another night of rest. Thank Him.

Pro 3:24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.

Ecc 5:12 The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, Whether he eats little or much; But the abundance of the rich will not permit him to sleep.

Jer 31:26 After this I awoke and looked around, and my sleep was sweet to me.

The White Stone

The White Stone

Rev Essie

Good Morning everyone! I pray that all is well with you, that you have thanked God for this new day, that you have covered your household and family with the Blood of Jesus to be protected from this evil world. That includes your yard, belongings, vehicles, job, bank account, house, neighborhood and anything else that you rely on in this existence. Remember, we are in the World – but not of it. The things that we do should be for the Kingdom of God and not to please man. I always say, “don’t sell your soul for ‘stuff’.” What you do on your job, do it as good as possible and God will reward you even if your employer doesn’t. And for those of you, like me, who work from home, be kind and gracious to others while you work. The World needs love “sweet love” as the song says. Let’s always be a part. If it weren’t for some of you listening and sending in your donations, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do so I thank you all personally. Those that have, bless those that don’t have. There is someone sitting in the privacy of their home or job somewhere who just cannot give and they are thankful from the bottom of their hearts for those who can help me to continue to get these sermons throughout the airwaves. I don’t stand on a mountaintop shouting down at those who sit at my feet for hours, times have changed. I deliver the Word from my desk at home, with the microphone and bibles that you all bought, the electricity, internet and computer that you all are helping me to pay for so that I can get souls saved. So when I say that I thank you for helping me, I mean it. I couldn’t do this without you.

Before we get started, I’d like to announce that “Bible Prophecy” General, Dr. Jack Van Impe was welcomed into Heaven by His blessed Savior and Lord who he had so faithfully served in ministry for over 70 years. Another General gone folks. RIP Dr. Jack Van Impe. I loved their program and watched him and his wife online for years. I adored how he would recite scripture on and on and wished that I could do the same. God bless his family and friends. Amen.

Let’s take a look at Hebrews 13:5 shall we?

Heb 13:5  Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
I think this verse says it all. God is telling us not to always want want want and be content with what we have. He knows our needs, when we need something He will send it to us by using others to bless us. Not very often do you hear about people having something physical just pop into their existence from nowhere right? God is not a genie and this is not about magic. I’ve experienced some out of the blue blessings before but I’ve never seen a Lincoln drop out of the sky into my presence. It takes faith to believe in the Lord. Either you have faith in Him or you don’t, there is no “I’ll think about it” mode. John 4:24 tells us that God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Hebrews chapter 11 is loaded with faith scriptures. You cannot serve God without faith in Him. Take a special look at Heb 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Turn your Swords if you have your bibles with you, to Revelation 2:17 please. It states, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Sprit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a “White Stone” with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.” So, exactly what are we talking about here? We are learning about the hidden manna, the revelation of God. The Holy Spirit of God, He is our Teacher. Some people don’t know what to do in life because they don’t have a close relationship with the Holy Spirit, Who Jesus left for us, when He went back to Heaven. He kept His promise and didn’t leave us without guidance from the Throne. The wonderful, triune, 3-in-1 God. Once Jesus is your friend, He’s your friend forever.
It specifically tells us that you will not please God without believing that He is. That means that you believe in and of Him, you tell others about Him, you are not embarrassed of Him and you spend time with and talk to Him.

There was just a report on CNN that Iranian Christians are telling us not to believe what we see on the news. There is a 90% Iran and a 10% Iran and evil people who are the 10% is what you see on the news. The announcer said that Iran is growing the church faster than any other church in the World. And China is growing as well. I love it when I see that people from these areas are listening or watching us online. I absolutely love planting seeds. You never know who is getting blessed by what you do. The same countries that they mentioned are countries that show up in our stats and get this….I’m not the only one! Plant your seeds folks. Get closer to God and learn to listen for His still, soft voice. Give Him time to speak to you. You may be planting seeds and don’t even know it. You never know who has been watching you online or listening to you. This is real. People who are desperate for Jesus are watching you because they see online that you’ve either mentioned His name or posted something about Him in some way.

Receiving the White Stone means that we have to hold still and listen to the whispers of the Holy Spirit Who speaks to our spirit. We have to get into the Word and learn it daily. If you need help, ask someone for it or go to a bible study either online or in the church of your choice. Revelation 2:17 says also that God will not only give us a White Stone of favor but a new name that no one else will know but us. How can you understand your new name if you don’t study His Word or iisten to His voice? Let me give you a description of the White Stone.

A white stone was used to gain admission to certain events in Roman times. That would imply that those who overcome will be granted admission to the Kingdom. Do you see the comparison here? I am talking spiritually and not just in the natural. Also people who did others a favor in some kind of way was given a white stone which was akin to an endless Mastercard in our day. Wherever they went or wherever they needed to stay, they did not have to pay a fee or charge to get services such as hotels (Inn’s), food, transportation, food, etc.
According to David Stern’s Complete Jewish Bible, which is a Hebrew printing of God’s Word, it tells us that the meaning is that God will give us the ‘right’ to eat from the Tree of Life which is in Eden. Wouldn’t you love that?

About the manna. As we know, that was given in the Exodus while they wandered. Some of the manna was placed in a pot and stored in the ark of the covenant. The ark disappeared from earth, but is mentioned in Rev 11:19 as being seen within God’s temple. John could have had that “manna from the hidden ark” in mind.

Rev 11:19  And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

It’s name means “to show that which is hidden.” Christ promises to give it to him that is conqueror.

Jesus told the disciples Luk 10:24  For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

There are people in much higher ranks of life than us who wish that they knew what we knew, heard what God has spoken to us or see what our eyes see. We must always remember to be thankful. Always always always and daily.

2Sa 22:50  Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name. 1Ch 16:8  Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

1Ch 16:34  O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

Does that scream “give thanks” or what? There were more scriptures but it would take up time here to read them all. Just simply give thanks. Amen.

Jesus is the ark, the oil, the rod, the testimony, and the manna. He who is partaker of his grace has all those things in their spiritual meaning and perfection. It is supposed that by the white stone is meant pardon or acquittance, and the evidence of it; and that there is an allusion here to the custom observed by judges in ancient times, who were accustomed to give their suffrages by white and black pebbles; those who gave the former were for absolving the culprit, those who gave the latter were for his condemnation. This is mentioned by Ovid, Metam. lib. xv., ver. 41:

This White Stone is also a Secret Place within you. You’ve heard me before preaching about Your Secret Place. Feel free to come back later and listen to that episode when you have time.

https://www.blogtalkradio.com/revessie/2019/11/10/your-secret-place

The person who held the white stone had a right to entertainment in the house of him who originally gave it; for it was in reference to this that the friendly contract was made.

This, when produced, gave the bearer a right to the offices of hospitality; he was accommodated with food, lodging, etc., as far as these were necessary; and to this, the eating of the hidden manna may refer.

But what does this mean in the language of Christ?

  1. That the person is taken into an intimate state of friendship with him.

With all of the messes that happen in our lives folks, we have to find our secret place. It behooves us to find that place where we can be alone with Jesus. The Jewish people and those grafted in have a prayer scarf called a Tallit prounced “taleet” that they wear while praying. I have a blue and white one and it is beautiful. It is actually your personal prayer closet. They cover their heads with it and go into prayer with the Lord. The strings on the bottom all have a purpose. There are so many of them for a reason and they are called, “Wings.” Therefore when the woman with the issue of blood crawled through the crowd, (which was illegal for a woman with that type of sickness to do,) she knew the scripture and believed in it that there is healing in His Wings. She knew exactly what would happen if she made the first step to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment. When you pray in your tallit, you are touching the wings of the Tallit. In prayer there is healing, in prayer there are all of the answers that you could possibly ask. It gives us vitality and life just like the white stone does. It signifies inocense.

When we get to that last judgment of God, God is going to ask Jesus about you and Jesus is going to say, “Paid in full.” When we were young we couldn’t wait to buy tickets to see our favorite groups in concert. Wait until you see what this “ticket” gets you in Heaven and not only in Heaven but here in our existence on Earth as well. The new Heaven and the New Earth. You are free from all sins, acquitted of all guilt, and free from condemnation. There are so many people who accept Jesus as their Savior and still feel that they should add some human concept to make their salvation work. Then we get into legality, legalism. Accepting Jesus as your Savior gets you saved, not Jesus and tithing or Jesus and fasting. Just Jesus.

That was what Jesus didn’t like about the Sadducees and Pharisees, instead of them trusting in Him and teaching people about the freedom that Jesus presented, they constantly trusted the law of Moses more and refused to see Jesus high and lifted up in their minds and spirits. He called them whitewashed sepulchers. Mat 23:27  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.

Although this scripture speaks of the church in Thyratira, the Nicolaitanes apparently began to promote similar beliefs, and in their proud and wealthy city were prepared to admit orthodoxy of doctrine so long as it was combined with laxity of morals. But Christ cannot for a moment tolerate such a conjunction, a pairing of sort. His judgment sword must vindicate the purity of His Church.

The White Stone is a symbol of your faithfulness, not orthodoxy, or a sticking to the Law instead of Jesus.

Your new name reflects the battles you’ve been in (Sufferings that you have endured.) The ultimate symbol of transformation and victory. It is not named after your human nature but your new creation. You will and even NOW have Eternal Purity. Don’t let the devil talk you out of it. he’s been a liar from the beginning and it’s his job to rob you of your Heavenly Heritage because he lost his.

The good thing about it all is that you don’t have to do anything else but believe and trust in Jesus Christ. Yes, you don’t have to lift a finger my friend. When someone adds ANYTHING to your salvation, it is dangerous because you are getting back into legalism. Whether it’s about Sunday service or, your not serious about Christ, tithing, candle-lighting, tedious praying, no tattoos, the way that you dress, your hair style, your vehicle, which Sunday you worship on, Jesus covered it all. Whatever day you choose, just make sure that you have a Holy Day for the Lord. Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. Rest one day for Jesus, God rested and He Created all things. It’s not because He was tired and needed a break, He did it as an example for us. Slaves don’t rest and you are not a slave to God but a friend. Jesus tells us this in Joh 15:15  Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
Accept your new life in Christ and live it in the joy of the Holy Spirit. I’ll leave you with the following scriptures if you’d like to write them down.

2Co 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2Co 5:18  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

2Co 5:19  To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

2Co 5:20  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

2Co 5:21  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Are you saved???????
