Good Friday Morning Blessed One! 4/30/21

You are blessed in the city and blessed in the field. You are blessed Child of God wherever you go and so are those who are around you – because of you.

God is like the Sun. Sometimes the clouds try to cover Him but, He’s there. For you.

Deu 28:3  Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
2Sa 6:12  And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.
Psa 31:21  Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.
Rev 22:14  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Good Thursday Morning! 4/29/21

Praying that your day is prosperous and that your heart and spirit is open to all that God has for you.

Isa 50:4  The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
Isa 50:5  The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
Isa 50:6  I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
Isa 50:7  For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
Isa 50:8  He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.
Isa 50:9  Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
Isa 50:10  Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.
Isa 50:11  Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.

It is impossible for God to put away the soul that clings to Him in penitence and faith. Heaven and earth may be searched, but no bill of divorce can be found. See Deu 24:1. And He sends His great servant, our Lord, of whom this chapter is full, to deliver and assure our trembling faith.

Good Wednesday Morning! 4/28/21

I pray that you have a blessed day and that favor showers you this day. In Jesus name. Amen.

Luk 2:52  And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
Act 2:47  Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Act 7:10  And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.
Act 7:46  Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.

Luke 2:40-52

“Solitary floweret,” says Stier, referring to this incident, “gathered from the wonderful enclosed garden of the thirty years and plucked precisely when the swollen bud, at the age of twelve years, was about to burst into flower.”
The incident is specially valuable as indicating so perfect an understanding between our Lord and His mother. He wondered that, knowing Him as she did, she could have lost Him, or should have failed to seek Him in His Father’s house. The stress is on Wist ye not? Here, however, He seemed to pass into a new attitude toward His life-work. May we not say that He caught sight of its absorbing character, to which all else must be subordinated?
Let us never suppose that we are in the company of Jesus, when, in fact, we may have lost Him. Never rest till you and He have found each other!

Good Morning! 4/27/21

Bless your circle just as Jesus did. There is power in a multitude of counselors. “Anyone Not Against Us Is For Us.”

Anyone Not Against Us Is For Us

Pro 11:14  Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

Pro 15:22  Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.

Pro 24:6  For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.

Luk 9:49  And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.
Luk 9:50  And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.
Let us seek the child-heart! We must distinguish between childishness and childlikeness. One of the loveliest pictures of the coming time is Isa 11:6. Only childlike souls can tame and conquer the beasts. Let us welcome simple holy souls, and be ourselves of that class; and let us cultivate large-hearted charity toward those who cast out demons, though they be not of our school.

Good Monday Morning! 4/26/21

Thank you Lord for a beautiful new morning. Bless our family, friends and ministries in Jesus name.

Joh 4:3  He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.
Joh 4:4  And he must needs go through Samaria.
Joh 4:5  Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
Joh 4:6  Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
Joh 4:7  There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
Joh 4:8  (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
Joh 4:9  Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
Joh 4:10  Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
Joh 4:11  The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
Joh 4:12  Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
Joh 4:13  Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
Joh 4:14  But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Joh 4:15  The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
Joh 4:16  Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
Joh 4:17  The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
Joh 4:18  For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
Joh 4:19  The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
Joh 4:20  Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
Joh 4:21  Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
Joh 4:22  Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
Joh 4:23  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh 4:24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Joh 4:25  The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
Joh 4:26  Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Our Lord had no wish to precipitate the conflict with the Pharisee party, until He had finished His ministry to the people. He was the last and greatest of the prophets, as well as the world’s Redeemer. He therefore withdrew from the metropolis. Here is another must, Joh 4:4. There were three in the previous chapter and there are two in this. It was not necessary for Jesus to go through Samaria except for the purpose of mercy to one soul. Jacob’s well is still visible, at the entrance of the green valley up which Sychar lay. Thus, that is, as a tired man would sit. It was noon. The time when women usually drew water was in the evening, but there were special reasons why this woman came by herself. The love of God overleaps narrow restrictions of sex, and sect, and nationality. Two conditions, Joh 4:10, precede our reception of God’s best gifts: we must know, and we must ask.

The living water is not a stagnant pond or well, but leaps up from a hidden spring. The woman keeps referring to the well, Jesus to the spring in the well. That alone can satisfy. Not the word, but the spirit in the word. Not the rite, but the grace it symbolizes. Joh 4:13 might serve as the inscription on all places of worldly amusement. Ponder that word become, Joh 4:14. You first drink for your own need, then you help to meet the need of others.

29 years of ministry and loving it

For National Husband and Wife day, I’d like to give honor to God, (My husband) who called me into His Kingdom Work in 1992. (29 Years.) I went from cutting the church’s grass while pregnant with my son, to standing in the pulpit ministering five years later under the leadership of Rev. Walter Cherry Sr of Uniontown, Pa. Through it all, God has been good to me and “kept” me. I and my household are covered by Jesus Blood and loving it. ❤

Good Sunday Morning! 4/25/21

May the Spirit of the Lord be upon you and give you wisdom and strength. Have a powerful day.

Nah 1:3  The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
Mat 24:30  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 28:18  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Luk 4:14  And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
Act 1:8  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Rom 15:13  Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Eph 3:20  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Col 2:10  And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Good Saturday Morning! 4/24/21

Live, love, prosper, be healed in every area of your life, Jesus name.

I pray today that each of us are filled with more of God’s Wisdom, Knowledge and Revelation. May the Lord open our spiritual eyes and hearts to what it is that He wants us to do. Father God, fill my friends and I will more of your Holy Boldness to confront the demons that try to make us think that we are NOT the righteousness of God and that they are stronger than us. Cause us to realize our ‘roar’ in Christ Jesus. Jesus thank you for filling our mornings with your joy, love and content in Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Tsidkenu, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Sabaoth (our Warrior) and the Great I Am! Amen.

Good Friday Morning! 4/23/21

A blessed morning to you as you travel along “The Way” of Jesus Christ!

Mat 8:13  And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Mat 7:13  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Mat 7:14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Joh 1:23  He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.

Joh 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:1-11

As He neared the end, our Lord could speak of little else than the Father. Heaven was His Father’s house, where a prepared mansion awaits each of us, perfectly adapted to the peculiarities of our temperament. The yearning of the heart of man was truly set forth by Philip in his request to see the Father; but never before had it dawned upon human intelligence that the divine can find its supreme revelation in the simplicities and commonplaces of human existence. While Philip was waiting for the Father to be shown in lightning and thunder and the splendor of Sinai, he missed the daily unfolding of the life with which he dwelt in daily contact. To see Jesus was to see the Father. Nothing could more certainly prove the need of the Holy Spirit, by whom alone we can know the Lord. Ref: e-SwordX

Good Thursday Morning! 4/22/21

You are the bible that some people read. Walk in the Word and people will read it.

Lev 20:23  And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

2Ch 6:16  Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me.

Good Wednesday Morning! 4/21/21

Don’t go the way of less resistance, always tell the truth of the matter. The world is wicked, be different.

Joh 16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Joh 16:14  He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Joh 16:15  All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

The disciples were terribly overwrought by the events of the last few days, the reversal of their cherished hopes, and the growing darkness and sorrow of the approaching cross. Their physical nature and their minds and affections could bear no more. Sorrow had filled their heart, and the Master forbore to describe in further detail the valley of shadow through which they were still to pass.
A comparison of the Gospels and Epistles will indicate how much our Lord left unsaid. All this remained for the Spirit’s teaching, to be communicated to the Church through the Apostles. It is thus that Christ deals with us still, apportioning our trials to our strength, our discipline to our spiritual capacity. We long to know God’s secret plans for ourselves, and for those whom we love. Where does the path lead which we are treading, and which dips so swiftly and abruptly? How much longer will the fight be maintained between Truth on the scaffold and Wrong on the throne? What is the explanation of the mystery of evil, of the sorrow and agony of the world? And Jesus says: “My child, you cannot bear to know now. Trust me, I will tell you as soon as you are able to understand.” The blindness and limitation of the present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall follow in God’s own time. See Rom 8:18; 2Co 4:17.

Zombies or not?

If a person can overdose on drugs, die but be brought back with a simple shot, is it the same person/spirit/soul? How much time does it take for a spirit or soul to leave a body for good? We have to pray for our loved ones because the devil is looking for bodies to fill for his demons. Hence, the drugs in the first place. I believe this is the real term for “Zombies.” They have no house so they use human bodies. I am just wondering if some of the unsaved people who overdose and die, return as they were or are not the same as they were when they died. I believe that the lesson here is “get saved while you can.”

Good Tuesday Morning! 4/20/21

Winning souls to Christ is the goal because you already have victory in Jesus. Go tell. Matthew 28:16-20

The Great Commission

Mat 28:16  Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

Mat 28:17  And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

Mat 28:18  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Mat 28:19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Mat 28:20  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.Amen.

Good Monday Morning! 4/19/21

Live by God’s direction. Don’t be a windsock for the World.

Make God’s Will be your focus. Find your purpose and live it. Don’t let the enemy of your soul tell you which way to go. There are too many of our loved ones who are allowing the world to be their sail. Never let circumstances direct your life, learn to live by God’s direction. Don’t be a windsock for the World.

Good Sunday Morning! 4/18/21

Lev 26:2  Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

1Ki 1:31  Then Bathsheba bowed with her face to theearth, and did reverence to the king, and said, Let my lord king David live for ever.

Luk 20:13  Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.

Good Saturday Morning! 4/17/21

God has given us this beautiful Saturday to enjoy and to tell someone about His Son. I wish you well in Jesus name.

We used to sing in bible school “This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.” Sometimes when you get older you forget things but one thing that we will never forget is to praise and worship our God and Creator. He brought this day to us and kept us safe as we slept. His Angels guarded you and kept you from harm. People may be committing unusual activities outside of our dwellings, our neighborhoods, our communities, but God kept them away from you as your resting body and mind slept. Think of the possibilities that could have happened that didn’t. Those are reasons to give thanks today. Psa 118:24  This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

I was thinking about how time seems to be going faster as days go by. They say that as you get older, days go by faster but I’ve been feeling something different lately. Here are my thoughts:

One day as I was meditating, (not with legs crossed and fingers pointed up of course, that is actually cultish,) I had a vision that the trees were tired and the earth was moaning and groaning. The Earth just couldn’t take anymore abuse. The trees were weaker than they used to be and their color was even weaker than what we are used to. The bark on them was splitting and dry. And some of these trees were new ones. They just couldn’t get nourishment from the Earth anymore. I saw the words in front of me in the air that said, “Tempus Fugit” which is a Latin phrase, usually translated into English as “time flies”.

Although I can’t explain it, time as we knew it is gone. It is speeding by us so quickly. The internet gives you information so much quicker than going to libraries do. I’m sure that we don’t have Encyclopedia salesmen/women anymore. We trust our food to microwaves just because commercials say that they work and give us our food faster. Instead of sending one another lovely cards and notes, we shoot each other a quick email with the signature already on them at the bottom.

As the world turns, and that’s not a soap opera (or is it,) what it has to go through due to the greed and selfishness of lucifer/satan and all of his followers, we need to lean upon the chest of the Lord as the disciple John did, and learn the heartbeat of Jesus. You don’t want to miss what He has planned. I want to be a part of the remnant don’t you? Lean my friends, lean in to Jesus’s heartbeat! Redeem the time. Tell people about Jesus while it is yet still day. Night is coming where people won’t be able to sleep and rest in Jesus. I don’t want to think about those who will be left behind. Just don’t be one of them.

Eph 5:16  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Col 4:5  Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

God is good and worthy to be praised! Praise Him while you are able.

2Co 4:16  For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

Eph 5:15  See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Eph 5:16  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Eph 5:17  Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Eph 5:18  And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Eph 5:19  Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Eph 5:20  Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Eph 5:21  Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Psa 9:2  I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

Psa 31:7  I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;

Psa 118:24  This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Isa 25:9  And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be gladand rejoice in his salvation.

Joe 2:23  Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

I lost Jesus.

Good Evening everyone. I feel so guilty right now. I had a beautiful gold and silver cross that I bought at Kohl’s years ago and well, I did something odd and I feel a little strange right now. The cross is pure gold and it is beautiful but….there is a replica of Jesus attached to it. Jesus is silver. Here is the problem, it always bothered me that Jesus hung so sadly on that pretty cross although we all know that He died on it BUT rose from the dead which is the victorious part of all that He did.

Tonight, I decided to take Jesus off of that cross. I dug under the body part and tried to pry it away but the gold began to bend. I got my scissors and ‘clipped’ the hands and feet away and they snapped off somewhat easily. (So glad that they didn’t break His bones on the real cross.) The cross looks nice and I cleaned it up but I lost Jesus! He flew across the room somewhere when I clipped him and I can’t find Him anywhere. I am so glad that we can’t lose our Jesus that easily amen?

Crosses are just a memorization of what He did for us anyway. Jesus is no longer on that ol’ cross. He’s alive in us via the Holy Spirit that He left us. Jesus rose and got victory over sin, hell and death JUST for us. He gave us freedom in Him. Isn’t that wonderful? Praise the Lord and amen! Well, I hope that gave you a little giggle tonight to lighten things up a bit. In times like these, we need a lightening up. Pray that I find my Jesus soon. God bless and thanks for reading.

Good Friday Morning! 4/16/21

Blessing your day with a prayer and another word from the Lord Himself. Reading the Word daily gives one Wisdom and comfort.

Father God thank you for another day. Bless all of our loved ones in our household, our family and friends. Lord we give you all the praise, the honor, and the glory forever. We lift up our prayer requests to you and we cover all of our loved ones with the blood of Jesus. We pray for whichever country that we live in and all countries around the world, that, people will see the love of Jesus Christ and come to You daily. Jesus you are the lily-of-the-valley, the bright and morning star and there’s no one that can ever take your place. Walk with us today and cause your Holy Spirit to teach us something that we didn’t know yesterday. Guide our feet and fill our mouth’s with words of love, joy and wisdom. Send strength and courage to your people for such a time as this. Take away the timidity from all of your children and cause us to be bold as a lion but gentle as a lamb. Just like you were Jesus. We lift up all those who are going through COVID-19 losing loved ones and experiencing it themselves. Cause them all to be over comers healing from this disease and comforting them from the deaths that were caused by this disease. Jesus you said by your stripes we are healed and we’re going to continue to repeat that until you return. You are not a man that you should lie. Lord we believe you. Amen.

1Pe 2:21  For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

1Pe 2:22  Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

1Pe 2:23  Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

1Pe 2:24  Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Walking with the Mayor (dream)

I dreamed last night, a dream that I feel led to post in my blog because many dreams that I have are prophetic. That’s why the devil tries to stop me from deep-sleeping because God speaks to me thorough my dreams.

The “Mayor” or some big representative of the town that I was in was walking with me up a small, grassy hill and we were casually talking. I noticed how we had to dodge the manholes in our paths. The grass was green but there were manholes approximately every 10 feet or so. Some were open, some were closed. I decided to look into one of the manholes and when I did, I remember clearly seeing green walls in this manhole as though it were an opening to a secret cell or a submarine of some sort. It looked as though there was a military type of operation going on. The Mayor said to me, “That’s just the Steel Company.. ” and I can’t remember the name of it. It’s as though it wasn’t God’s time for me to know yet.

Tuesday night/Wednesday morning I dreamed about standing on a small hill that had various mud paths on it. I stood on the mud to show my friend(s) that I was with that all is well, yet I did not fall.

I pray that this is not a precursor to war of somekind where submarines are definitely used or, if a Steel Company of some sort is not in trouble. I know that in Clairton, Pennsylvania, the Steel Works manufacturing company is under much government scrutiny for air pollution. The air stinks horribly at times. Before they began to get cited and fined, the air quality was horrible daily to the point that you couldn’t keep your screen door open. Many have whole house air especially in the Condo’s. The asthma rate is high in Clairton. Someone did a documentary on the air in Clairton that revealed how many people there have asthma or some type of breathing problem.

Pray for the safety of our country, our people and our purpose here in the United States and that’s hopefully freedom of speech and freedom to live in prosperity and good health.

God is about to cause an ambush on your enemies.

God is about to cause an ambush on your enemies.

Rev 5:12  Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

Rev 21:23  And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Good Wednesday Morning! 4/14/21

Have faith in God and He will reward you in unimaginable ways. You need faith to be a Christian.

By Faith

Heb 11:1  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Heb 11:2  For by it the elders obtained a good report.

Heb 11:3  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Heb 11:4  By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

Heb 11:5  By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Heb 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him:for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Heb 11:7  By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Heb 11:8  By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

Heb 11:9  By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

Heb 11:10  For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Heb 11:11  Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

Heb 11:12  Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.

Heb 11:13  These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Heb 11:14  For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

Heb 11:15  And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

Heb 11:16  But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Heb 11:17  By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

Heb 11:18  Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:

Heb 11:19  Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

Heb 11:20  By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.

Heb 11:21  By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaningupon the top of his staff.

Heb 11:22  By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

Heb 11:23  By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he wasa proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.

Heb 11:24  By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;

Heb 11:25  Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

Heb 11:26  Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

Heb 11:27  By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

Heb 11:28  Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

Heb 11:29  By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

Heb 11:30  By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.

Heb 11:31  By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

Heb 11:32  And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

Heb 11:33  Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

Heb 11:34  Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

Heb 11:35  Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

Heb 11:36  And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

Heb 11:37  They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

Heb 11:38  (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

Heb 11:39  And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

Heb 11:40  God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

Good Tuesday Morning! 4/13/21

Walk with Jesus and you will fulfill your destiny! Enjoy your Tuesday. ❤

Heed the Spirit of God in the Man or Woman of God, and you will be safe in all of your ways.

The Storm at Sea
Act 27:13  And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete.
Act 27:14  But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon.
Act 27:15  And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let her drive.
Act 27:16  And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat:
Act 27:17  Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, and so were driven.
Act 27:18  And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship;
Act 27:19  And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.
Act 27:20  And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.
Act 27:21  But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
Act 27:22  And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship.
Act 27:23  For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,
Act 27:24  Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
Act 27:25  Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
Act 27:26  Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.
Act 27:27  But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country;
Act 27:28  And sounded, and found it twenty fathoms: and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found it fifteen fathoms.
Act 27:29  Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.
Act 27:30  And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,
Act 27:31  Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.
Act 27:32  Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.
Act 27:33  And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.
Act 27:34  Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.
Act 27:35  And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.
Act 27:36  Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat.
Act 27:37  And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls.
Act 27:38  And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.
The Shipwreck
Act 27:39  And when it was day, they knew not the land: but they discovered a certain creek with a shore, into the which they were minded, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.
Act 27:40  And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore.
Act 27:41  And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
Act 27:42  And the soldiers’ counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out, and escape.
Act 27:43  But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from their purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land:
Act 27:44  And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.

Acts 27:35-44
The sailors endeavored to head the vessel toward the mouth of a creek that appeared before them, but she ran aground and stuck fast. It was here that a new and unexpected peril confronted Paul and his fellow-prisoners. The soldiers proposed to kill them, lest they should swim ashore and escape; but the centurion, perhaps out of gratitude to the man to whom they all owed their lives, forbade the soldiers and ordered everyone to endeavor somehow to get to land.
It does not so much matter how we get to heaven, as that we get there. Some who trust most in ritual and ceremonies may get there on broken pieces of the ship, but happier are they who can cast themselves directly upon the mercy of God in Jesus Christ. It was a drenched and shivering group that stood on the shore on that chill November day. Thank God, our condition will be very different when we emerge on the shore of eternity after crossing the cold waters. And as we stand on the beach of the glassy sea, all of us will render praise to Him who has brought us safe home.
