Just a little word to make your day.

So, what is on my mind for today that I think people should know?

Well, some of us live in places that are being hit very hard by this weather and God wants you to know it’s not him. For all of your believers keep praying that the sun will burn out all of these things they’re standing in the way between us and him. Pray that the temperature goes from -8 to at least 35 or 40° every day until April 2026. There are people who cannot go shopping, go to work and are losing their jobs because of it.

There are people like Myself and my daughter who live out in the country in a little cute cubby house that is about 100 feet below the road and it is hard for us to get our groceries. We shovel as much as we can, but it’s just too much to shovel recently. My daughter is concerned about my health and I’m concerned about her as well. She went out there a few days ago and made a little path so that we can get some of our packages. FedEx and UPS goes down the path without complaining and they put our packages on our little porch and it doesn’t bother them. You see them walking back up and some of them run up to their vehicles close the door and they leave. I can’t say the same about our mail system. They once left my package almost on the road in between our mailboxes, where you can see that they tried. I called and told them to hold onto my packages until the weather got better and I would come pick them up and they agreed. I didn’t expect that package. So this puts pressure on me wondering whether I’m gonna get packages or whether they’re gonna hold them from me or not. It was really something. I pray in Jesus name that wherever you live, God will give you favor. I pray that the sun comes out and burns all of the dross from around you and your living places. I pray that the sun melts the snow that you were expected to shovel. I don’t care what anyone says this weather is not normal. This weather is supernatural. It’s not natural. People have heart attacks trying to shovel snow. I felt like I was going to two years ago and that’s why my daughter watches me closely. My heart felt like it was flip-flopping in my chest so shoveling is not a joke. I used to be the type of person years ago, not just a Marine, but a strong black woman who was used to doing things by herself and surprised when she got help. A friend of mine and I lifted the back end of a car up out of ice so that people can go about their way once. Those days are gone and I’m older and I just can’t do that kind of stuff anymore. I don’t know about the rest of you, but have you ever had a thought come across your mind to do something physical and when you tried to do it you found out that your body wasn’t with it? Be careful because the things that you used to do your mind remembers it, but your body is not up to the task all the time. You have to slow down when you get older. You have to move according to how your bones are feeling that day. You have to chop up your tasks during the week. You can’t tear down that wall and put up new plywood oor drywall like you used to. Yea, I once did that too. Everything needs an appointment when you get older. This is why I like to study the Word of God. I like to study the Bible, God gives us encouragement in every page of the Bible. You should get into reading the Bible, any part of it, or start from the beginning and read to the end. But when you are reading it, ask the Holy Spirit of the most high God to show you what you need to know more than just what your eyes are seeing. He will help you. To those people that brag about reading the entire Bible from the beginning to the end, I have to ask you, did you ask the Holy spiirit to help you or do you just know words? The Holy Spirit can show you what is behind all of those words. You cannot see him, but he is there. The Bible says the kingdom of heaven is within you, in fact, Jesus said that.

Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Some elderly people just need to chill out and stop trying to act like they are still young and they still have their youthful strength. What they need to do is to calm down and realize that anger doesn’t get them anywhere and they are not always right. When I was younger, I thought I was always right, because with the kind of life that I had traveling to different homes and apartments and cities, parentless. I lost 2 sets of parents by the time I was 8. I had to be right. As my son and daughter got older it was hard for me being a Marine and being on my own, and being an adopted child in a few different homes. But sooner or later, God gave me wisdom, and I began to realize that they (my children) can be right sometimes too. Sometimes I feel sorry for them because they had to put up with me and teach me subtly that I’m not always right. In a nice way of course. There’s something different about Marine parents. I was a tad strict. But regardless of their misfortunes in life, my kids turned out ok and are awesome.

I received my 4 Patriots solar generator yesterday and I have to admit it is gorgeous. It’s small like an old-fashioned 1980s radio but it’s powerful. When the grid goes down or the lights go out or the winds blow hard, my daughter and I will be ready.

My son is a Surveyor with a big company so we told him to come here if the mess hits the fan so to speak and bring his family with him. I am a rebel canner, I taught my daughter how to be a rebel canner, and we will have the food and the generator to exist until mankind fixes whatever problem that there may be. And yes we make a mean loaf of bread too. We can’t forget that winter time is not the only time that your electric can go down. My daughter and I have seen times in good weather when the electric went down and we had to sleep in the living room until it came back on. It’s not just the fact that you are experiencing cold, but we can’t count out the days where the wind tries to take over and brings fear into the hearts and minds of people. We actually have up to, maybe, give or take, 400 jars of processed food that we did ourselves in our water bath, and pressure Canners. I keep store cans (sauces, etc) under my bed while glass jars stay in 4 cupboards that we have. We can everything. We learned how to do it. One thing I do want people to know is when you see people say they’re rebel canner it doesn’t mean that they are illegal. It just means that they ‘can’ things that the government never got a chance to experiment with therefore, those certain foods are not in their “good” list.
