This is a post for all of you who do not particularly like or feel safe pressure canning right now. I think you’ll like this. It’s Water Bath canning. Takes longer but it surely saves your food for your family. You just have to make sure that the water stays about 1 to 2 inches above your jars so keep a kettle hot on the side. Also, remember: Meats – 3 hours for Water Bath Canning, BUT fish is ALWAYS 100 minutes PC’ing or 4 hours WBathing. As far as veggies, they are always less time. Check the list that I am going to upload either right after this or with this. I am working from my cell and it’s hard for an ol’ lady.

Water bathing is awesome and comforting to some. It’s just longer but … well … and more safe for those are not crazy about pressure canning. If you already have a pressure canner, just remove the rubber button that releases pressure in the case of emergencies, in the lid and you have an automatic water bath canner. Big families love the Amish canner that covers 2 stove eyes (I forgot the preppy term so I use “eyes.” Lol)

Love y’all and stay safe over these Holidays. Sending pics.
