A poem about ‘leaders’ given to me by Caterina Maria Trovato-Levato

Her intro to the poem as posted on my Facebook page:

“Okay, as you requested. Here is a poem the Holy Spirit gave me right after a person attacked me just because I shared that someone wrongly attacked me (no names were given). I was told that as a Christian Leader I should not have posted such a thing. Here is what Holy Spirit gave.”

(Personally I think that whomever said that to her should have minded their business. It’s funny how the world tries to tell Christian leaders how we should act, speak and think. That’s God’s job. You’re welcome!)

LEADERS

Leaders don’t like to lead

Cause you put them on a pedestal

And won’t let them bleed.

What is ok for you

It is not for me. .

And while we have to live

This same life you live

with all the ups and downs

Somehow some way we have to still give

To others without a frown.

The Love of God that we share

Is the same we need from those who care

To build another fellow man

Whose life is called

In total sacrifice demand.

Come on leaders take my hand

Let’s take our hurts to the blood of the lamb

so we can be for each other,

what God had already planned.

One that bares the burdens

By putting in all in the Masters hands!
