“MICROMANNA W/REV ESSIE” – THE WORD WITHOUT GETTING DRESSED.
SUNDAYS AT 10 A.M. ET 1-917-889-8054
Good Morning Saints and if you aren’t one, consider becoming one so that you can live free, covered by the Redemptive Blood of Jesus. Amen.
I pray that your day is going well and blessed and if it doesn’t seem to be Bless it yourself! You have the Most High God within you. He gave His Power to you to use so use it! Hallelujah!
Today I will be speaking on Backsliding. So grab your pen and notebook or tablet, your drink and your snack and sit back and listen, and I will discuss this right after our ‘invite’ of the Holy Spirit.
With so many pitfalls and temptations of our world today and information being spread at the touch of a button, there are many Christians who have fallen into the proverbial phrase, “Backslidden.” Some are living in that stage right now and don’t even realize it because they have become dull of hearing or blinded by the enemy. Christians think that they don’t need the church or bible studies or online Word. I am certainly not judgmental of online services because when I lost my church in 2004 I moved the ministry online and it is worldwide therefore I have nothing negative to say about it. People think that because Grandma and Grandpa went to church they are automatically going to slide into the Pearly Gates of Heaven because they are allegedly “grafted in,” or they had someone “stand in” for them at church when they were babies. No, you are not automatically grafted into Heaven but if you accept Jesus personally, you are grafted into the Body of Christ and are an integral part of Israel. There are a few results of backsliding that I will cover here today and if you’d like you can get a notebook and pen and jot down some of these for your own use or a bible study that you may be conducting as well. The first result of being in a backslidden state is:
1. Selfish Absorption. Proverbs 14:14 says: Pro 14:14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.
Speaking of our own ways, God says that our ways are not His ways and our thoughts are not His thoughts. Are not God’s ways greater than our own? There are so many self-absorbed people in the world now a day that they don’t see God as the Divine Being that He is. Tip: Never question the Creator. Even human creators! We are creators like our God is, He made us to be like Him. When someone creates something…don’t ask questions! It’s their invention, their baby, like it or keep on steppin’! This reminds me of social media. You post a post on your page that YOU happen to like or it may have a message that you would like to convey and here comes the Social Media Police telling you how to do it, asking why you did it or trying to publicly embarrass you to the point that, if you are a sort of weak person or the pushover type, you may even lose sleep over it until you’ve changed it to someone else’s liking. What about leaving it as it is, go to bed, sleep well, wake up thanking God for another day, praying, making some coffee, and doing it all over again while enjoying your online presence. Especially for you ministers out there who are always bombarded by nay-sayers. You are a minister of the Most High God and not a man-pleaser. The self-absorbed think that things should go their way. They could care less about hurting people’s feelings or doing things, a different, or better way. Everything is about them, them, them. Even what YOU do is about them, them, them. You work on Army Tanks, they can tell you how to fix Army Tanks. You bake wedding cakes, they make better wedding cakes than you. You preach and they want to tell you how to do it and what to say. They’ll change YOUR character if you let them. Their character should not fit into your skin.
2. Religious Indifference.
Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
iniquity | iˈnikwədē | noun (plural iniquities) immoral or grossly unfair behavior: a den of iniquity | a liberal lawyer could uncover the iniquities committed on his own doorstep.
immoral | i(m)ˈmôrəl | adjective not conforming to accepted standards of morality: an immoral and unwinnable war.
This verse in “The Complete Jewish Bible” by David H. Stern explains it like this: “…and many people’s love will grow cold because of increased distance from Torah.”
We see it today. People are getting further and further away from the truths of the Bible. The Bible is the unadulterated Word of God that needs no correction. The only ‘thing’ that can explain it in full is the gift of the Holy Spirit. Man attempts to read it and understand it on his own accord without inviting the Spirit of the Most High in to study it with him and give him any interpretation that he does not understand. This type of pride only leads to destruction. That is one reason why today we have so many versions of the Bible and so many so-called teachers who have their own opinion of what the Word is saying. People want a cotton candy interpretation of the Bible. They want to still be able to keep their sins and call themselves followers of The Christ. Dr. Michael Yosef in is book called, “Saving Christianity ?” calls these people “Progressive Christians.” They are described in Wikipedia as the following:
Progressive Christianity is a “post-liberal movement” within Christianity “that seeks to reform the faith via the insights of post-modernism and a reclaiming of the truth beyond the verifiable historicity and factuality of the passages in the Bible by affirming the truths within the stories that may not have actually happened.” It developed out of the Liberal Christianity of the modern era, which was rooted in enlightenment thinking. Progressive Christianity is characterized by a willingness to question tradition, acceptance of human diversity, a strong emphasis on social justice and care for the poor and the oppressed, and environmental stewardship of the earth. I once studied with a neo-group years ago and it was very slick. It started out beautiful, quoting the Word and Jesus’ sayings and all. But half-way through, approximately a couple of years later, I began to notice that the lessons that were being sent to me had somehow changed. It would take a keen spiritual eye, (which I do have) to notice this. Their lessons went from basic and simple Christianity to transcendental meditation and spiritual guides and stuff. You know who spiritual guides are right? Stay away from them if it isn’t of the Holy Spirit, He’s your best friend, sent by Jesus. These people had gone from the parables of Jesus to teaching people how to project to other places in their minds and allegedly bodily as well! Ladies and gentlemen, that’s witchcraft! See how they do? The first year or so, you’re smiling, thinking that you are learning something new and then all of a sudden….POW!….someone is teaching you witchcraft and you have to cut that cord quickly. At least I hope that you do. It’s sad in a way because they literally are teaching you the Word at the beginning but ease evil up on you like a snake, hoping that you are not wise enough to notice. As Ezekiel tells us in Eze 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
I believe in meditation but the Biblical kind, not the spiritually bombarding kind! That’s demonology. A few years later, they were writing letters of apology to everyone, telling us how they were going to have to close down, and these people had been sending out these lessons since the early 50’s! Imagine how many others since the 50’s that they were teaching about astral projection!!! The Word tells us to be mindful.
1Ch 16:15 Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
2Pe 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3. Unfitness for the Kingdom.
Luk 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
When you look back while ploughing you lose track of what is ahead and what you are to do for the future of the land. You do not plough in straight lines, and you lose sight of what is ahead and how you can prepare it for your liking or the Lord’s liking. It’s like driving while looking in your rear view mirror. How can a person go forwards in life by looking at what is behind, or, what has been? Let go of anything that you have already gone through that the enemy of your soul tries to continuously make you relive. I did that for years and wondered why I was miserable. Bind those thoughts in Jesus name and cover yourself with His precious blood. And don’t forget to plea the blood. As time goes on, it seems that people are forgetting to plea the Blood of Jesus. It’s like putting the Lamb’s blood on your doorpost! Death and destruction passes over! Amen? In plowing with your head turned back, you can’t see the bricks, stones and pitfalls ahead of you and in order to even look back you are doubting that you did well in the first place! Are you questioning your own job? That’ll preach! What is the purpose of looking back while you are preparing the way for your future? You can’t walk the fence. Either you trust God’s direction or you don’t. God told Job’s wife not to look back and when she did, she turned into a chunk of salt. Disobedience is a source of witchcraft. It only means that you do not trust the one that God has set up for you to learn from or follow. God says “Don’t do” and you “Do just because.” Not good. The last time that happened, man was kicked out of the Garden and left to a world of difficult tilling and plowing, birth pains and hard work.
We are a “Have it your way” generation. As Frank Sinatra once sang, “I did it my way.” The old demonic slogan, “Do as thou wilt” coined by Aleiester Crawley Antoine LeVay, head Warlock/satanist himself. And folks have been following him ever since. Including some very well known music industry and television industry artists. You can even see it on some of their albums.
Christianity doesn’t need to be revamped, it needs to be exercised by strong-willed, bold-for-the-Kingdom ministers who aren’t afraid to stand up for Jesus as He stood up for us. You’ve heard me say it before, I cannot stand it when Christians whisper and act introverted and let the world run rampant all over them. While we are whispering, our brothers and sisters in other parts of the world are being beheaded for Christ. And what is our concern? “But I don’t want people to see me or talk about me if I do such and such!” “They might laugh at me!” “I’ll lose my place in the clique or the club!” “They’ll shun me in church!” (What a church by the way. Shame.) “I don’t want anyone to lose respect for me!” Shame on you for being so weak and fleshly. Imagine if Jesus said those things. Then again…I can’t.
4. Bondage to Forms.
Gal 4:9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
Or as The Complete Jewish Bible puts it: But now you do know God, and, more than that, you are known by God. So how is it that you turn back again to those weak and miserable elemental spirits? Do you want to enslave yourselves to them once more?
How can someone have a relationship with the Creator of all things and turn against Him once they’ve acquired and experienced His love? It seems like an impossibility but people actually do it. What happens is the fact that they give in to their flesh and fall for anything that the devil sends their way. he makes sure that he throws something our way that pertains to earthly living. That’s what he thought he was going to do to Job too but he got fooled instead. Job knew and loved His Abba. Think about it, whatever you lose can be replaced in some way. You may still have that old thing in your mind but God replenishes so well that He fulfills the empty space that that lost item left behind. Don’t get me wrong, you can never replace a loved one because they are not of silver, gold, brass or wood, they are of your own genes and it hurts to see them leave right? Know this, God’s got it. They are most likely in a better place praying for you. The bible says that angels carry us from death to the Lord. To be absent from the Earth is to be present with the Lord. You go from a physical being to a spiritual being. Some people cannot pass the tests of life because, plainly put, their flesh is weak. They haven’t exercised their spirituality to the point where the Holy Spirit can effectively communicate with them. They can’t hear Him speaking to them because they haven’t spent enough time trying to. They crack jokes with their friends at work, or they are couch potatoes – watching television all day to the point where they can mouth the words to every commercial that comes on or every movie story line. Weak Christians stay on the telephone gossiping with so-called ‘friends’ who are just going to go back and re-tell it all anyway to THEIR ‘friends.’ They have their heads buried down in their cellphones to the point that no one can hold a descent conversation with them. The Holy Spirit says, “Do you have time? ” and they answer, “Right after I get off of Facebook or Words with Friends Lord.” And He just sits back waiting. The last thing you want to do is make God wait. Jesse DuPlantis tells a story of how he kept asking God to show up in his life so that he could see him. One night, as Jesse and his wife who was asleep, laid in bed, God came as a forceful wind. Jesse said that his blinds and curtains blew up and the furnace or the air conditioner wasn’t even on! The curtains almost blew up and over the rods. God called Jesse and said, “Jesse, look” but he was so afraid to look that he didn’t as God had asked him to. Fear stopped his blessing. The next thing you know, the wind died down, the curtains stopped blowing and his bedroom came back to normal. God had left. Jesse said that hurt him so bad because he was afraid to look and he felt in a way that he missed God if I may describe that as such. The moral to that story that I just told is NEVER MISS GOD. Hold on like Jacob did. Hold on and never let go until you get your blessing. Some people get tired of the wait and let go and miss their blessings and some even miss Heaven and peace.
Gal 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Gal 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
When you turn your back on God and go back to your worldly ways, you are in bondage my friend! The world wants you to be in bondage. It’s like the credit companies. Did you ever get soooo close to having a great credit score or even a pretty descent one and one of the credit card companies ‘offer(s)’ you a new credit card with a higher balance than all of the others? To you it looks like a blessing but that’s what the devil wants. he wants you to fall for it since it’s so easy to say yes and email the companies a digital signature but paying it back is horrible! The amount is more than what you can handle. By the time you pay mortgage or rent, car payments, gas, electric, sewage, garbage, water and donate to a ministry or your church, you are in the red! It’s then that you find that you CANNOT pay these people back! It was demonically set up that way. What you thought was a blessing only turned out to be a temptation that you fell for and now you are paying “the price” so-to-speak. The bible says, “Owe no man anything.” Tithe to your local church before you answer the devil’s email for another credit card. I am not a fan of forceful tithing like, “Your house will cave in and your car will stop running if you don’t tithe,” but, I am a fan of supporting your church. You may have heard that about me so, I don’t want anyone to get it twisted. I also don’t believe in paying tithes and a sister or brother in the back of the church with 8 kids doesn’t have their water or gas on at home either. That is an imbalance. The tithes is supposed to be used for the church or people’s needs and in all actuality, the Pastor should want for nothing. Jesus and the disciples had all of their money in one bag in case someone needed something. And guess who was the treasurer? Yep! Judas. You can see that in:
Joh 13:29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.
Here’s the ‘owe no man’ scripture.
Rom 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
God says that a poor man is wise.
Ecc 9:15 Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.
What people do not realize is – is that the poor but wise man delivered the city (or whatever else you want to place that word ‘city’ with,) but no one gave him credit for it. Notice that the rich didn’t deliver the city, the poor man did.
Now, don’t go out and give all of your money away because of that sentence. Use discretion and wisdom in handling your money. Plant seeds in good ground. Ground that is getting something done for the entire world and not just new mink stoles and Caddies.
The Word tells us not to muzzle the ox that treads out the corn in 3 different scriptures so I do believe that God is making a statement. Here are the verses:
Deu 25:4 Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.
1Co 9:9 For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?
1Ti 5:18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.
Speaking of the poor earlier, the following verse shows the ingratitude of others who find poor people appalling. If you know someone who has their nose turned up at you because you ‘don’t fit in’ or you don’t have the funds that they have to do certain things, lift them up to Jesus. They put money before love and they’ll put money before you. We are to love one another regardless of our financial status. Not to be legalistic, ritualistic or ceremonial like Orthodox believers who are in bondage to being that way. To say that someone are poor because they do not tithe is being legalistic. I don’t like when people turn it into the Blame Game. Our God is a loving God and He is not going to make your child die or your car stop because you did not tithe. Folks need to stop that craziness right now. I have a couple of people who are so dedicated, financially to this ministry and I am truly grateful. You are always in my prayers. Some of you go out of your way and God is pleased. You will get your reward. Your love for listening to the Word through Micromanna, or New Birth, overwhelms me. To those who are confused about tithing, know this, God will not put you in hell for that, it’s just that He’d appreciate it if you took your money and helped the church or ministers. To be honest with you, when God was talking about tithing, He was directing His Word to ministers at that moment in time. People miss that and some preachers won’t preach it and make sure they don’t let anyone in their pulpits who know this info but here goes. Check out Malachi 3:10 and 11 ok:
Mal 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
Mal 3:11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
BUT! check this out as well. Malachi chapter 2 this time.
The Lord Rebukes the Priests
→ Mal 2:1 And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for YOU. ←
Mal 2:2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
Mal 2:3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.
Mal 2:4 And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.
Mal 2:5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.
Mal 2:6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.
Mal 2:7 For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.
Mal 2:8 But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.
Mal 2:9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.
Bet you didn’t see that one coming huh? They won’t tell that. God was correcting and rebuking the Priests! Not the people~!
Lastly for now,
5. Loss for spiritual enthusiasm.
Ask me how I know. There are times when we all get a little depressed and may be looking for something a little more than what God offers. King Saul did the same thing when he was King of Israel when he consulted a witch and lost his Kingdom to David, the man that men laughed at because he was a shepherd and only carried stones and a sling with him. They were ‘cultured’ soldiers but I supposed they considered David as a ‘wild’ shepherd. Shepherds weren’t known to have the greatest hygiene and were out in the fields with these animals for long periods of time. But guess who wasn’t too uncouth to kill Israel’s enemies when the soldiers were afraid? Yes, David. One sling and 5 smooth stones. He had 5 stones because Goliath had other brothers. David was ready to get them all if they came. Are you ready to get them all? I hope so. Stay prayed up and stay prepared. Your prayer life is a wonderful blessing. Don’t just pray on the stroke of the clock, talk to God all day long! I really mean it. Talk to Him as though you can see Him and He is with you all the time. He is your best friend. Talk while you are cooking, ask Him to bless the food. Talk in the car. Talk to Him while you are crying or heartbroken. He is the bringer of Peace. Our problem is that we’ve fallen for the worlds lies that “taking to yourself it crazy.” They only came up with that lie to keep believers from talking to the God in them. People all over the world are afraid to let people see them “talking” when no one is around. I don’t really care. I will talk to God no matter where I am. If someone is watching me, simply STOP WATCHING! I am not going to stop talking to my God!!!!!!! 😀 Folks, get your groove on and tell God everything. If I could ever make a promise this would be one….He will NEVER let you down and will answer you. Allow Him to establish your relationship. Set it in stone and never walk away from it. God is saying this to you today:
Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
Are you saved?
If you are not just repeat the Romans Road after me: Say “Jesus, I repent of my sins, I am so sorry Lord. I believe that you died on the cross and rose 3 days later from the dead, just for me and I accept what you have done, I accept you as my Savior. Thank you Jesus, amen.” Now go find a bible believing, Holy Ghost filled church and learn of Him, it’s never too late. Your new life starts now. All old things are gone away. God throws them as far as the East if from the West. Now….go live, laugh and love!
Thank you for coming on today and I pray that your week goes by Victoriously!
Num 6:24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
Num 6:25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
Num 6:26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
