Written in my bible, I found an old saying from years ago that says, โGod will always help me get to where I am going,โ and it has proven to be true all of my life, and I thank Him for helping me. When I failed miserably, God was there. Although I may have not deserved an inkling of His attention, He was there, forgiving my every move, and every mistake. When Jesus died on the Cross He said, โFather forgive them for they know not what they do?โ A lot of people may not know this butโฆyou are already forgiven. When Jesus spake those words, He knew that you were going to be driven by a force that you cannot see. He knew that Adam and Eve had opened the door to every evil force that existed against God. God had given the first man, Adam, a job. All that he had to do was to dress and keep the Garden and instead, he opened the Gates of Hell and God would not allow it into His Garden, the place of Peace and Harmony therefore Adam had to go and the 2nd Adam had to appear on on the scene to straighten things up. We all know that 2nd Adam was Jesus. Still, the 1st Adam is forgiven. People jokingly say, โWhen I get to Heaven, I want to have a talk with Adam and Eveโ. I say, be careful judging because someone may want to have a talk with you as well.
We are all forgiven. Thatโs why God wants us to do the same. Throughout my years, Iโve had a hard time at it but Iโve learned to forgive. To that young girl who screamed at me when I was 10 to tell me that my 2nd mother wasnโt really my mother even though I didnโt know it at the time, I forgave. To the ones who dirtied my reputation for nothing, I forgave. To those who growled in my windows and walked around my home in attempts to scare my children while I was at practice or bible study, I forgave. Even though we had them on camera, I chose not to press charges. โForgive them Father.โ Itโs the same with those who who attempted to destroy my property and outside belongings. I forgave. Why is the film in someone elseโs house instead of mine? I choose to forgive. They may still be upset about it but I let it go. I refuse to curse every little rock that I stumble upon.
Habakkuk 2:1 tells me to โstand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.โ
I am standing upon my Tower. I am waiting on God, for they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. I have already written my vision upon tables and made it plain, so that whoever finds it will run with it.
I am a spiritual watchman, I am ordained to keep my eyes on Jesus and not man. I do not have time to record every vendetta against me. I have a vision of going to be with God, the New Heaven and the New Earth and I have to stay focused so forgive me if I donโt break down at every attempt to make my life miserable. Iโm on a mission and I am trying to take as many as I can with me. Mans feeble attempts to stop me will not and cannot work except temporarily.
As Maya Angelou says, โStill I rise.โโจGod will ALWAYS help me to get to where I am going.
