Are you Spiritually Dehydrated by Rev. Esther R. Scott

Are you Spiritually Dehydrated?
Good Morning BLESSING: This is Rev Esther R. Scott of New Birth Ministries Church online, wishing you (Victory, Yeshua, Love, joy, peace, wit, wealth, success, patience, virtue, good health, money, mercy, grace, support, Ruach, wisdom, positivity, abundance, prosperity, greatness and Yahweh!…).
Church online with me, Rev Essie, every Sunday at 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, is for those who cannot attend the usual “brick and mortar” service who don’t want to leave their church but need to hear the Word momentarily for various reasons: sick and shut in, transportation troubles, etc. Know that we are praying for you and for God to send you favor quickly. Also remember that “Troubles don’t last always!”You have the Victory.
“The subject of todays message is: “Are you Spiritually Dehydrated?” Dehydration is the loss or removal of water from something. Been feeling a little parched lately? Have you been flying at such high altitudes in the worldly realm, that instead of ‘troubles not lasting always’, they seem to be lasting forever and now they are drowning out your peace and precious time with the Father?
The word “water” is a substitute for the Word of God as in “washed in the Word” or when Jesus told the harlot at the well about water, and let’s turn to:
John 4:7-19
6.) Jesus was wearied from his journey and still helped someone. He is our extra energy when we are weary.
7  There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8  (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9  Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10  Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11  The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12  Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13  Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14  But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
15  The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
16  Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17  The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18  For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
19  The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
John 7:33-39
33  Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
34  Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come.
35  Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
36  What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come?
37  In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38  He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39  (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
And even in the very first book of the bible in Genesis it says in verse 1 of Chapter 1 that the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Water and Spirit, Spirit and Water. They are both cleansing and refreshing. They start things anew. They both fill the one who was once parched and hopeless and cause him/her to be well nourished and faithful. After Jesus was baptized by his cousin John, it was only THEN that God showed up and said aloud so that others could hear, “This is my Son in whom I Am well pleased.” God ordained Jesus’ ministry after His Water/Spiritual Baptism. Jesus certainly had nothing to repent for but He did want to be an awesome example to the rest of us.
The old song says, “Take me to the water, take me to the water, take me to the water, to be baptized.” Something happens after water baptism. There is a Power that is given to you through the Holy Spirit and just like He did for Jesus, He’ll do for you. He shows up at Baptism for those who truly have repented and are not just concerned with who is looking at them or how their gown falls to one side when they are dipped in the water. Do you get my meaning here?
There is something called a true and false repentance as well. You can look like you are repenting through your mouth but your heart is saying something different. We must check our motives. Are we getting baptized because someone else said so or because we are just ‘going with the flow’ at the time? When you go down in the water you are Dying with Christ and rising out of the water being born again: being made new in Jesus. The old man is dead and the new man has risen with Christ! Kill the Old Man! (And ladies I don’t mean to go kill your husbands it’s just a cliche’.) I remember when I got baptized the second time in Bethlehem Temple in East Liberty, around 1979, under Bishop Thomas when I lived with his daughter and their beautiful children. I was about 20 years old, drifting from place to place trying to find myself in this world and God sent me to this family. I knew nothing about speaking in tongues. I had just came out of a Baptist church which I loved but we didn’t really speak in tongues then. I went down into that water at Bethlehem and came back out speaking in a language that I had never known. I was shocked but glad at the same time! I never did that before. The two sisters on both sides of me, dressed in white told me, “Don’t stop! Keep speaking!” It was awesome. Well, that was my experience anyway. Water, then fire. I loved it. I was walking one night to catch the 12 a.m. bus,  after working at the local grocery store and a lady caught up to me and said, “You’re saved aren’t you? You’re one of them.” I said, “Yes I am.” She said, “I could tell, I see it on you.” It made me feel good. God is good.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that you MUST be water baptized, because I know some people who have accepted Jesus and have yet to be baptized and it is my opinion that if Jesus came back He wouldn’t reject them over it because it is actually a representation of repentance. It is an ‘outward show.’ I’d say that it is special don’t you. The Water/Word says, “you must be born again.” Jesus is the Word therefore the Word is true. And also in Acts 2 the disciples hadn’t gotten baptized when “the” Holy Ghost came (that’s verse 4 for all of the “The” and “Him” people.) I am just saying that it does add a little extra something-something to being saved. After all, it is the Baptism of Jesus’ cousin John, who cleared the way in the desert for Him which Paul called Baptism into Repentance, Acts 19:3-4. Militarily speaking, it promotes you from a Grunt to a Captain in the Army of the Lord. Speaking in tongues is not necessary for salvation but I believe that water baptism definitely helps you. The Holy Ghost is represented as fire and the fire comes after the water has soaked us, just like in 1st Kings chapter 18 when God set the enemies’ gods (little g) and statues on fire in their presence even AFTER they soaked them in water a few times. Elijah wasn’t afraid of false gods. In fact, he laughed at them and made fun of them saying in 1st Kings 18:27
Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.
28  And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.
They were heated at Elijah. They were so mad because the man of God was right, that the evil Queen Jezebel threatened to kill him! Imagine that! People who are so mad that they want to kill you. Nahhh, you think? And for you folks who suffer from depression don’t think that you are alone. God used Elijah as an example for you as well. If he can get over it, you can. He got so depressed over Jezebel that he hid and cried and asked God to take his life. See 1st Kings 19:4. You are not alone my friend. He kicked it and with Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMaschiach, so will you. Fear not. I’m telling you, we read the end of the Book and guess what? We won! Not win, but won…already!
God gave us water for more reasons than drinking. We simply just got a ’sample’ of the real thing that is in the Heavenlies. They say oil and water don’t mix, and neither does fire and water? Well with God it does. We ascend out of the water and the Holy Spirit decends upon us after the cleansing and washing of the Word. Now we are consumed in Him but we do not perish. We need that liquidy-fresh cleansing and anointing to receive Power. We are sanctified through it. (Made clean.) God used water to make man. If He didn’t use water, we’d blow like chaff that the wind drives away. The most of our make up is made of water and flesh. Water, (naturally and spiritually) makes one pliable. It makes you soft and agile. You can duck the darts of the enemy and run through a troop and over a wall. The more “Water/Word” you get the stronger and better you become at dodging the wiles of the enemy. It’s like the directions that you receive when you buy a new appliance. You have to learn how to use it, amen?
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,(Ephesians 5:26)
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (Titus 3:5)
————> Psalm 1
1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2  But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4  The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5  Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6  For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
See? The ungodly (parched and dried up, non-learning, self-righteous prunes) dry up and are blown away by the first wind that blows by. They are not rooted and grounded and planted by the rivers of the ‘waters.’ They are the huge Oak that is pushed over by the wind on a stormy day. You’ve seen it on the news. It looks big and is shade to possibly thousands of birds but what good is it, if it is dried up and dusty? It’s a farce. The poor birds think they have a home and a safe place in this huge Oak. It’s deceptive. Spiritually dehydrated folks do the same thing. People are sitting under their witchcraft and going through the motions not realizing that they are getting absolutely no nutrients from that old dry tree and as soon as a hard storm comes, they are going to lose their shelter. I say witchcraft because they only appear to have power but their power that they received from the spirit of the anti-Christ is only temporal. They have learned a ‘pattern’ or a ‘ritual’ and are going through the motions only. They say that they are filled with the Holy Ghost, writhing all over the floor, shaking and screaming and carrying on, yet they are filled with the Kundalini Power of satan. That’s why, when you hear some folks screaming in church, leave them alone, God may be delivering them of demons in your presence. Either that or Kundalini is controlling them. God will never do anything to embarrass you. So the next time you see someone acting up in church, just pray for them. They are hypocrites and the Greek word for hypocrites is “hypo-critis”, which means Play Acting. There is a lot of that going around in the church you know. All this fakeness and low hung blouses with high rise skirts, even Christian leaders today show so much cleavage you’d think they starred in an underground movie somewhere! Women are in clothing that is so tight that it is a distraction to those who REALLY want to hear the Word. And the same with these men with these tight pants that are skillfully sewn to show their ‘package’ so to speak, that’s not God! We should be a neat and clean representation of the Kingdom of God. What is the purpose of showing all your body in church? This isn’t a nightclub! Naomi told Ruth to lay at the man’s feet (Humility) not to get on top of him as he slept, with her cleavage popping out! Amen? Church I am afraid that some of us have lowered our standards. Every body wants to dress like an award winning play actor who has sold their souls for entertainment. satan is the king of entertainment. Jesus didn’t entertain, He wasn’t a play-actor. He healed people out of compassion not because it made His persona better.
Ezekiel 28:13-15
13  Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipeswas prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14  Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Jeremiah 23
1  Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord.
2  Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord.
Micah 3
1  And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?
2  Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;
3  Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
4  Then shall they cry unto the Lord, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
5  Thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
6  Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
7  Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
8  But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the Lord, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
9  Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.
10  They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
11  The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among us? none evil can come upon us.
12  Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
Speaking of dusty earlier, is your bible dusty? I hope not. Wipe it off and start to read amen? Everybody is so concerned that their town pool is open to the public in the   summer but what they need to concern themselves even the more with is whether or not they are diving into that leather or paper biblia/book that’s sitting on their table for show like it is a trophy hanging on the wall, and some people think that buying a lot of variations of bibles means that they are even that much more Holy! But the question is: do you know your Word? Is your Bible a trophy or a tool that you use for Victory in your life? It’s your choice. What is your “why?” Your family and children’s children should be your why. That’s why you live holy because you love the Lord and should teach your children to do so as well.  Teach your loved ones to read the Word and be washed in the Word. It’s up to you to do so now. Our Generals are leaving us slowly but surely. Will you take a stand for Jesus? Are you saved?
Call to repentance. Salvation.
