The Generals are tired.

The Generals are tired.

Posted on May 4, 2019 at 8:05 PM

The Generals are tired.
We hear the voices of the birds singing and they sound beautiful Lord but sometimes we are too tired to enjoy them. The body of Christ is so tired. Sometimes I feel like a soldier in The army. Our men are tired they need rest food and sleep good clothes, new tents.
The body of Christ Lord is tired we need you Jesus to come back soon. Sometimes I feel like a soldier in the army reporting to the general. The men are tired Lord. We need some positivity as well. New clothes new boots. New tents, new swords. New chariots. Rations. Jesus come back soon. You said you would not give us more than we can handle it’s beginning to feel like we are at the end already. As soon as we have a place to clear head we have to move again. When we thought that we had our families together our family breaks apart. Something drastic always seems to happen. Don’t let us lose our joy when we should be celebrating more. Some are mourning. Even with the weather it’s either too cold or too hot. There’s no even balance. The times and seasons are changing oddly. They are not normal anymore Lord. You said this was going to happen. The body of Christ is tired Lord. We need your divine intervention. We need Your Divine Provision. The World is hitting us in our pockets in attempts to stop us from doing the work of the Kingdom. We don’t want any provision from the world. Our Provision comes from you. Even our privacy to talk to you is tainted. Everything nowadays is recorded Lord even when we may not want it to be recorded. The children are not safe anymore. Women are having children and allowing strangers to have their way with the children and sometimes they offer the children to them. While men are lying with men other men are abusing those men’s babies. Women dress like whores and look like whores, and carry themselves like whores, even in the church. Which means that they are a distraction to the distribution of the Word. Jesus your Generals are sometimes, tired.
One by one they are dying and the new ones are too modernized. They will not carry-on with the orders that they have received. Your Word says that young men we’ll prophesy and old men will dream dreams. The old men don’t seem to be dreaming anymore instead they’re discarded and disregarded seeming to be forgotten. The young men are not carrying out the orders as they should. They are too New Age. They are disobedient. The old women are trying to be young, acting fussy like school girls, and the children are no longer getting wisdom, knowledge and guidance. Oh God we are tired. Help us. Some ministers show their pearly whites, and everybody thinks they’re happy. Then you see them on the news, where they shot themselves in the pulpit or in the privacy of their homes where no one can see how they really feel. Many are taking their emotions secretly out on one another. These things should not be.
We do see more healings. Children being healed of cancer, that is good news. Lord thank you. We just need more energy more of You to fight this battle of the flesh. The flesh tries too hard to take over and our spirits suffer. You say try the spirit by the spirit. There’s so much Deception going on sometimes that even that is hard to do.
Houses look so peaceful during the day like an old 1940s movie. And nights are so loud and boisterous until the wee hours of morning and it is so hard to get proper rest that is needed. The evil ones come out at night. They hide during the day and they put on a good front but as you lay in your bed at night, there is no respect for anyone, their voices echo all up and down the neighborhoods. There is no regard to children sleeping or old people trying to get rest. They are either drunk or high under the influence of something evil or argumentative while screaming. Father forgive us. Strengthen us. I ask for your power Lord God in Jesus name Holy Spirit dwell in me. Continue to give us strength, your word, your thoughts, your habits and continue to teach us. Make us alive once again. Restore in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us. Create in us a clean heart. Fill us with that surety that we need. Continue to help us to fight this battle and as the apostle Paul once said ‘we’ve fought the good fight and finished our course.’
Lord God, once again, send chariots and armor and swords and Military rations. Cause us to remember that we have Victory in all things hallelujah.
Although we are in the middle of a battle. One thing that I do know according to your Word, Lord, we already won. Amen

Vision is good, but why leave out "envision?"

The other night, God gave me a Word of Knowledge that I haven’t spoken about until I got confirmation today to do so and that is, “Envision.” God wants us to begin to, not just ‘vision’ but “envision” things. He says, “You have the Power to create.” Too many focus on the word ‘vision’ but God says for us to focus on the action instead. Envision first, and the vision will follow.

Support is important

Years ago, when I was a rookie in the ministry field, my family came to listen to me preach one Sunday. My sisters husband, who was a wise and happy older man, told me afterwards at his home, “Esta!” (Esther) “You can preach, I gotta give that to you.” And he went on to say, which was the absolute truth, “But you just don’t have no suppote!” (Support. He had a gentle Southern accent.) And you want to know something? For years I didn’t have support from hardly anyone, maybe a $20 bill here and there or $50 three times a year or so. But recently, now that I have my stuff together and I am sure, satisfied, experienced and on fire for the Lord’s work, I now have support. Once you know that you know that you know that what you are doing is for the Kingdom and not YOU, God steps in and blesses the entire ministry. It took me years of mistakes and experience, joy and tears to get this far. By God’s Grace and Mercy, I now have those who enjoy what I do and they tell me every day. And don’t get me wrong, there are always those who don’t enjoy what you do and will let you know it too! But I was called for such a time as this and I am going to ride this thing until the wheels fall off. And no, I am not one of those screaming, big word-using, jumping up and down preachers so if you are looking for that….can’t do. I am not an actor, I preach the unadulterated Word of God. I preach it in a way that, people from any generation can understand. I once had an elderly gentleman come up to me after I preached in a big church from my hometown, and he said, “Now Rev. I liked that. You preach so ‘us dummies’ can understand it” and he laughed and walked away with his wife. I’ll never forget that. He has since passed, bless his soul, but he put a wonderful seed in me that day. (Mr. Alton, I’ll never forget you.) Don’t ever forget the good times and keen signs that God has shown you throughout the years. Write them upon the tablets of your heart.
For you people who have been stepping in to help the ministry, thank you. It means more than I can type on this Blog. God bless your household 100 fold. May He give you ‘more-than-enough’….always. So much that your will have to give some away.

Thanks for reading and have a successful day!

Living off of a ‘donation-less’ ministry.

New Birth Ministries

A testimony of the provision of the Most High:
Many may not know this, if any, but, I have what I call “a sort of-donation-less ministry.” I don’t get much in the area of finance, maybe $100/year if that. I am not one of those preachers with the expensive car, attache case and tailor-made clothes. Strangely, that is what is exciting about New Birth Ministries. God provides. And yes, NBM/NBBI is registered legally with the State of Pennsylvania as a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization. I sometimes put out the call for an offering or a donation but not much as I don’t like begging ministries. And NBM doesn’t depend on tithing to ‘make it’. We don’t get tithes, never did. If handled wrongly they turn people away from Jesus. If people ever tithed, it was between them and our Father. Begging makes people feel that they have to ‘pay’ for their ‘healing’ or blessing.
As a “money-less” or should I say, “a nearly donation-less ministry” NBM has had a brick and mortar church which flooded in 2004…twice, Hurricane Ivan and the one that followed that January, therefore I took the ministry online with Various Prayer Groups, Various Prayer Lines/Calls, a You Tube Channel, and a current and successful Sunday – Church Online Radio Show.
Talking about Jehovah Jireh! God sees to it that I get whatever He wants me to have to keep this ministry going. He pays the internet, rent, paper, printer, ink, envelopes, stamps, phone lines, gas, electric, water, car, sewage and insurances+.
The secret to it all is to learn to live low and watch God work in your life. Fast much and live comfortably. I’ve been fasting this year from something that once had a stronghold on me for years, and the more I fast, the stronger God’s power and discernment becomes in me and I absolutely love it.
Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. (Matthew 17:21)
Romans 12:2
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Trust in the Lord for everything. If your flesh cries, tell it to shut up and repeat, “With God ALL things are possible.” Our flesh is a big crybaby anyway, when it gets what it wants it steals your joy. If God can trust you in the “little bit” He can surely trust you in “a lot.” When it is time for you to sit at the “Table” Jesus will pull out the chair for you. One day, in His time, your little bit will become a lot. And yes, there will be those who will come to you trying to rush you into doing things that God has not called you to do. Don’t be hard on yourself, don’t be embarrassed of the ‘work’ of the Lord. Wait on the Lord. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. God will strengthen you. Jehovah Jireh, my Provider Your Grace is sufficient for me. God doesn’t want man to boast over what they have done for me. God has smiled on me, still is, and that’s my ministry testimony. God bless. ~ Rev Esther R. Scott

Have you ever had a problem fully letting go and giving it all to God? Sometimes don’t you feel as though you’re asking him for too much? Guess what? God doesn’t mind! He loves it whenever you talk to him. Talk to Him on the job, in the park, in the restaurant, or in your car. If God said that he sent the Holy Spirit inside of you then why wouldn’t the Holy Spirit want to hold a conversation with you? Humans made up miming God doesn’t mime! Some of you may get upset with me when I say this but Apostles must correct the church and real ones aren’t very well celebrated, anyway. The Apostle Paul didn’t have a committee to take money out of the advertising department and announce his coming in the local newspaper or billboards so…. here goes….. I am not and never have been crazy about miming! Do I hear crickets out there? Here’s some information about miming that God had already showed me years ago but I just didn’t say anything then:Many churches believe mime is a form of worship. However, many churches have adopted the practice of mimewithout examining the origins of its true purpose or meaning.Miming is pantomime. Pantomime is a dramatic form of entertainment, originating in Roman, in which performers express meaning through gestures accompanied by music.
It began in the theater of Dionysus in Athens. Masked actors performed outdoors, in daylight, at festivals in honor of Dionysus, the god of theater. Mime contains acts of magic, sex, and simulated nudity. It was a vulgar and a sexually perverse form of entertainment, shunned by the Christian
Church. After the fall of the Roman Empire, the Christian Church showed great opposition to the bawdy, and indecent associations of Mime, and excommunicated all performers, and closed down all the theaters. Despite this, the basic form of Mime survived. As the Church began to adopt societies code of morality, plays began to appear with religious themes, many performed in mime. (G.C. Lewis TTBHH5)
This genre was very diverse but full of controversy. Most often they were indecent burlesques unto thegod Dionysus in which female performers also took part in sexual performances. They featured dialogue, acrobatics, songs, and slapstick routines. During the persecution of the Christian
under Nero and Domitian, mimes were used to ridicule the Christian faith on stage. They mock the Christian faith and their God.
It is recorded in Acts 17:22-31 Dionysus was the god who inspired joyful worship, ecstasy and festivals. At these festivals and celebrations mimes, actors and a myriad of entertainment filled the theaters. On the north side of the hill is where Apostle Paul preached the gospel on Mars Hill. Paul was vexed at the sight of false idols and pagan worship that went on in the temple theatre. “Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TOTHE UNKNOWN GOD Whom therefore ye ignorantlyworship, him declare I unto you.[ Moffet T.]
Here are some links for your research. mime-out-of-the-church miming.htmlNotice in Psalm 37:3 that it tells us to trust in the Lord and do good and then we will do well in the land and shall be fed. There are so many who do not trust the Lord and they just will not do good. Some act like they don’t have ‘doing good’ in their veins! Oppositional Defiance Syndrome causes a person to do the exact opposite of what they are supposed to do and that is not good for their soul. It’s just like the devil, they want to do their own thing instead of what would profit them and cause them victory and success. It is simple, in Psalm 37:3, that trusting in the Lord causes you to do good. Get it? TRUST IS GOOD. If things do not turn out well for some people and for some it seems like a lot of times, it could possiblymean that you are not fully trusting in the Lord. Let go and let God. Have what we call “stupid Faith.” Pardon my expression. There are some people who ask for prayer over and over so much so that they don’t realize that they are letting people know that their faith is waxing and waning, and they do not have full 100% faith in the works of Our Lord God, no matter how “Christian” they proclaim to be. Have you ever seen people who never seem to have a good day, and when they ‘allegedly’ do it almost seems fake? It almost seems as though they are saying it just so people won’t catch on that they never really have a good day. A lot of these people are also the type who love attention. They will do anything to cause all eyes to be upon them instead of upon Jesus Christ. Watch out for the Drama Kings and Queens! True dat! Learn to get Victory in Jesus Christ already! Amen? No one will want to be on your side if they never ever see you getting victory in any area of your life. That’s just common sense. It’s like getting in a fast car with a man who has no sight. The second half of the verse says and thou shell dwell in the land and be fed. What land? The land of the spiritual and natural living, the land of the successful, the land of Abundance and prosperity, the land of believers. Some say “I do trust God but…” and then they finish the sentence with something such as “I have a lot of questions.” I feel this way, if you believe God you will take out your time and ask him your questions and wait on his answers! God is not a Genie though, ok? And God does not pop up out of lamps, that’s Disney, and God wants to hear from you. There are people who travel far ways and pay vacation money to get to a prophetess or a prophet. They say “Prophet so and so is coming to town are you going?” And what they don’t realize is God is in them they don’t need to hear a word from anybody else. Someone once told me that i was going to get a tall, fine, man and when I meet him I will know him by his eyes. I haven’t found a man with special eyes yet and that’s been about 20 years ago! If people would just sit down and study their Bible, study the word, they will find out everything that they need to know to go about their day and to be successful and happy.God does not play games, either you believe inhim or you don’t. He has enough enemies and he doesn’t want us on the enemy’s side as well. As human beings we always want to be like doubting Thomas. We always want to see something first before we put on total belief into it. That is not how I operate. God rewards those who diligently seek him. That does not include those who ‘half the time’ seek him. There are those who seek God only when they are sick. I once knew a man once told me that he doesn’t like to bother God, he only goes to God when he is sick. That broke my heart that he doesn’t trust God in any other aspect of his life. He had a $220,000 home, Bocchi court and all, and only contacted God when he or his parents were ill. And meanwhile his entire life was crumbling down around him. His parents got sick, he almost lost his house, he was supposed to get married and the woman that he was going to marry left him amongst other things.God wants us to have a total trust in him whether things are going good or whether things are going bad – God wants us to trusthim. We get on a bus and travel back and forth to our destination and we trust the driver, we also trust the mechanics of the bus. We get in our cars and turn on the air-conditioning and the radio and we trust the brakes and the mechanics of the vehicle there as well amen? The bus and the car is made by imperfect man. I tell my kids all the time when they are driving, “remember, a human made that car, be careful!” Some people trust man-made things more than God.Here’s a better one for you: people buy groceries and food at restaurants and they immediately pop the food into their mouths orinto their Skillets and cook the food. That’s trust don’t you think? They don’t know where the hands of the handlers of that food has been. You see it online all the time where rats and human fingers are found in pickle jars, rats and mice droppings and urine are found on the top of soda cans in factories. Rats and roaches run through rice bails and restaurants. I knew a man that ran a pizza shop who had the best pizza in town but my family found a slight discrepancy. My kids friended the kids who lived above the pizza shop. One night they were playing outside of the shop with the kids who lived there and saw a surprising sight. The Pizza owner simply left his flour on the floor in the hallway and outside on the dirty porch until he was ready for a new one. I saw it myself! No bucket, no container, nothing. The 50 pound flour sacks just laid there until he was ready for more. Get this…..a few neighbors cut open the huge flour bags to steal some when the ran out, and the flour bags just stayed opened until the owner walked out to get some more. BUT!!!! His pizza was voted the best in our town! For years! See? An inside job (renters) revealed his fault. Everybody kept asking what his secret was but he’d never tell it. I know….It was probably rat hairs! When he finally sold the shop years later, I heard that he also had to sell the recipe for his pizza. I know the recipe! …… A Broom and some Bleach!!! But! Still, we cannot trust God because he may not handle a situation correctly? I digress…..Here’s an even better one for you. You work for 2 weeks for your boss just knowing somehow that he is going to pay you after all that work you’ve done. What if he changes his mind? But yet we don’t trust God?You trust the babysitter and the teachers with your children but you don’t have time to learn more about God? People say I don’t believe in that God stuff or that Jesus stuff. When the airplane runs into turbulence what is the first thing that they say? “Oh my God!” No! Wait a minute! “WHO’S God? You mean MY God?”Nowadays people are trusting their children with people who have inordinate affections but they don’t trust God. Psalm 37:5 is telling us to commit our way to the Lord and trust him and he will bring it to pass. That means that he will bring into your life those things that you need to exist comfortably.God wants us lying naked in front of him, hiding nothing. If Jesus came to your house right now while you are listening to this, (or reading this later on,) would there be anything there that would make you ashamed or embarrassed? Song 118 Verse 8 tells us it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. Some trust in chariots and some in horses but we shall believe in the Lord our God. What about this scripture: As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.Trust God even in financial matters. People are so worried about money. Here’s a kicker for you. Jesus never said money was the devil. He was more concerned about us serving two masters at the same time. The Bible says the love of money is the root of all evil, not money. When Jesus said you cannot serve two masters at one time He was speaking about loyalty. Where is your loyalty? Do you have loyalty in man and his inventions or is your loyalty in God the creator of all things? Have you ever seen people who are not loyal whatsoever? They are more loyal to the enemy than they are to their own loved ones. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. (Matthew 10:36)
Years ago I was watching the Oprah show and she had a doctor from the Veterans Hospital in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on her show. The doctor was talking about people who are addicted to Crack Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Crystal Meth and other drugs like it. This doctor went on to show us how the brain works. She had a picture of two brains on a screen for the audience to see. One brain was colored nicely and it looks healthy but you could plainly see a decrepit and discolored part in the second brain. The doctor went on to tell us that-was the part that the crack cocaine and the crystal meth affected whichwas the loyalty part of the human brain. People wonder why their boyfriends or their girlfriends don’t buy Pampers or beds for their babies? You wonder why your loved one goes to the bar after they get paid and spend the entire check only to come home that Monday morning to take a shower and go back to work. There is something that has happened in their system that stops them from being loyal and to doing that which is good and right. You wonder why your loved one spends all of their money on Crown Royal at parties and they get mad at you when you ask for the bill money? They tell you “All you talk about is bills!” They say that you are a drag and a party pooper and after a while you just may begin to wonder if it’s true. You have become a product of their disloyalty. And now you must work on freeing yourself from this devil that has taken over your loved one….and free them too! In Jesus name. Never stop praying for people. People who experience these situations must be delivered of the symptoms of something new that is attempting to degrade their lives and steal their joy. We go through all of this and we stillhave a problem with God.Proverbs 3:5 tells us to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path many people are wise in their own eyes, therefore they feel that they don’t need God all of the time. They sit Him upon their shelves until needed and the first time that fear comes upon them, (which the devil knows would bother them) then all of a sudden they need God. Fear brings on a lot of stresses. You’ve heard it, faith is the absence of fear and fear is the absence of Faith, you choose. As Jesus said, “You cannot serve two Masters.”Isaiah 26 verse 4 it tells us to trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord Jehovah is Everlasting strength do we want temporal – temporary strength or do we want strength forever? I want strength for an eternity! No more timidity! Let’s go to the rock of our Salvation, let’s go to the Stone which the builders rejected, let’s go to the Mountain and the Mountain will stand byus. As you notice it mentions Jehovah which is where we get the word Yahweh, the tetragrammaton before vowels were made, God’s name was YHVH pronounced Yod-He- Vau-He, spoken in a slight whisper. So looking at it in Isaiah 26 verse 4 would actually be YHVH.And lastly Isaiah 50 verse 10 who was among you that fears the Lord, that obeys the voice of his servant, that walks in darkness and has no light, let him trust in the name of the Lord and stay upon his God. When someone mentions the term “fearing the Lord” it is not a cowering down but a respect for the creator of all things, the creator …… of the universe. You-He-Vau- He. Your Creator. Are you walking in the light? Are you saved? CALL TO REPENTANCE.*end

Beautiful scenery but no spirit-filled churches.

Good Morning!!!!

BLESSING: This is Rev Esther R. Scott of New Birth Ministries Church online, wishing you (Victory, Yeshua, Love, joy, peace, wit, wealth, success, patience, virtue, good health, money, mercy, grace, support, Ruach, wisdom, positivity, abundance, prosperity, greatness and Yahweh!…).
Church online with me, Rev Essie, every Sunday at 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, is for those who cannot attend the usual “brick and mortar” service who don’t want to leave their church but need to hear the Word momentarily for various reasons: sick and shut in, transportation troubles, etc. Know that we are praying for you and for God to send you favor quickly. Also remember that “Troubles don’t last always!”You have the Victory.
“The subject of todays message is: Beautiful scenery but no spirit-filled churches.
Think of those who may live in beautiful places that looks like the hand of God is on it daily, but there are no spirit-filled churches there to attend or no one there to reach out and connect to. No praise, no worship, no testifying, no home visitations, no fellowship. Is it really that beautiful? Or is it just for show? And be aware of those who have a beautiful countenance but an unpure heart.
Beautiful scenery but no Spirit-filled churches. I just recently message with a lady, a beautiful lady who and her husband is having problems physically. Very serious problems. I asked her if she had a pastor or a church home of which she replied no. She said she ‘is the one’ that lives in a place with beautiful scenery but there are no Spirit-filled churches around. I thought to myself how many times I wanted to just be out in the country with no one else around. And then I wondered how many other people think like that, beautiful scenery but what if there are no spirit-filled churches? God is in them. Whether they have a church or not, around them, they still have church in them. Finding a good church today can be complicated. Either people are following false doctrines and are foaming at the mouth or they are too timid to say Amen.
Jesus knew these days were coming and that is why he warned us ahead of time that he was sending a comforter to live within us so that whenever we needed him all we had to do was ask and pray. The world is having birth pains. New ministries are paving the way for Jesus to return, young people are preaching the Word in season and out of season as the Bible says. Don’t depend on the news to tell you how well Christians are doing for the Kingdom. If anything they will tell you the opposite. And then, on the other side of the spectrum, countries are fighting one another and some Christians are doing the same, and although they say peace peace there is no true peace outside of Jesus Christ. You can’t get around that fact. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. I am really hoping that people aren’t believing that they necessarily need brick-and-mortar to serve the Creator of this universe. Some have turned it into a spiritual prison. Jesus and the disciples taught and preached all over the countryside, not just in synagogues. As the Doobie Brothers used to say, they were “Takin’ it to the streets.” We’ve been taught that attendance and fellowship is the most important thing to do. Attendance is great but they got a little bit too serious on the fellowship part. Fellowshipping also means, not just to attend services, but to have a common bond of some sort with another and that would be believing in the Savior and going out into the World telling others about Him as He commanded us to in Matthew 28:18-20. People are quick to say “don’t neglect the fellowship” yet they lost focus once the so-called ‘fellowship’ is through! Many use it to hurt the feelings of those who have no church to attend. It’s become a measuring stick as to how religious one really is. If you don’t attend the building itself, your aren’t spiritual or saved. They go home and take off their “Monkey suit” as some call it, put on their comfortable house clothing and immediately eat a meal and watch Tv, football games, soaps, or some type of entertainment.
It’s something that we can have a McDonald’s and Rite Aid on every corner but there are still entire cities and towns missing churches. Wait a minute though! Then there are the towns that have more churches than bars and the people sin like Sodom and Gomorrah…like there is no tomorrow! See? It’s an unequal balance.
It’s good that missionaries go overseas, yes, but I do believe that Christians should also take care of their home first. The Holy Order in the Bible is God, Jesus, Man, then family.
1 Corinthians 11:3
3  But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
It’s not God, Jesus, Man, other folks or countries…then family. How can your children and relatives be hungry and lacking spiritually and you’re in another country helping someone else? It just doesn’t make sense. I know a woman who traveled to other countries, put her pictures on Facebook feeding the hungry and singing spirituals and couldn’t stand her mother! Her mother used to come to our Church Services crying, asking me to contact her daughter and ask what is wrong! It broke her heart! See? That is out of order. Take care of home. Is Jesus supposed to let her into Heaven for her works and deep inside she hated her mother?
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. (James 1:27)
Oh Lord, let me get back on track here.
Why don’t more of us start our own businesses, our own transportation, our own gardening, our own Hospital, doctors, and nurses. Why is this wonderful lady that I began to talk about in my opening, sitting out in the boondocks with no one coming to visit her to make sure that her household is spiritually strong and that she has no needs?  She’s been following my Ministry online now for years but I live in another state and I do the best I can with my posts and my Bible studies, lessons, videos on YouTube, and my prayer group on Facebook. You can tell that she’s very hungry for the word and that she loves the Lord. How many others are out there looking for a sign from God? Did you ever see that post on Facebook that says, “If you’ve been looking for a sign from God, this is your sign?” Well let this short message today be your sign. Jesus said in Matthew 28 verses 19 and 20 to go into all the world preaching the gospel. There are different levels of faith.  We all have different assignments in the body of Christ. Some people can handle going overseas, yet some people are meant to stay closer to home. Those who are meant to stay closer to home should make sure that they cover as many people as they can with the gospel. I’ve experienced churches that keep books on how much money each person in the church gives every Sunday. And sometimes the preacher can actually figure out how much each of your checks are every week. Jesus doesn’t love you according to how much you make or give every week. That is an all out past Roman fallacy and a trick of the enemy. Why can’t preachers and deacons seem to keep books and track information on who is getting the gospel in which region and who isn’t.
I have a funny story to tell you:
Years ago I served in our local ministerium in the county that I lived in, and we came up with this idea that we would deliver video tapes to households and the video tape was simply called “Jesus.” The videotape was wonderful. It was short but it got to the point. All the Pastors in my area met in the cafeteria of a certain Church, and when our church showed up someone actually shouted “the black church is here!” That shocked me when I heard that because my church has always been mixed. That tells a lot about who we were working with, amen? Well, that poor person probably didn’t mean any harm but judging our arrival by race wasn’t a smart move. In fact our church was known for being mixed. But we went in with a smile anyway and we got our directions, and delivery packets, and we separated, jumped in our Cars and delivered these videos to all of the homes in our various areas. As we were delivering the videos we got chances to see who was covered spiritually and who wasn’t. It was an awesome evangelistic experience. And the funny thing about it is the fact that our little “black church” delivered more videos than the big churches. I will never forget that experience. I don’t think they will either. I still have the results on paper somewhere in my records. Oh we had fun that day. Our little teeny church delivered the most videos. I digress….
The Bible tells you not to be weary in small beginnings because God always has something  good for us that we don’t know about. This is one reason why I enjoy smaller ministries. And not only that ministers of small ministries know your name personally. I never want to go to a church that is so large that the minister doesn’t even know my name. It reminds me of when people walked up to Jesus in the Bible as an example, and Jesus looked at them and said I know you not. One thing I can tell you is that you NEVER want to hear Jesus tell you that He doesn’t know you. You have to have a close, personal relationship with Him. He wants to know your likes and dislikes, joys and sorrows. That’s why He sent us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit. The Lord said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” and He meant it.
Do you tell him your troubles? Or do you get on the ‘horn’, as they used to call it, and blabber all of your business to a so-called ‘friend’. They are your friend until you tell them your weakness. Some are so happy to hear your weaknesses because it satisfies the jealousy in them that you never paid any attention to.
Let me give you a personal example of what happens when we don’t give it all to Jesus and we just crazily let loose when we are down or depressed. As Andre Crouch’s song says “Distraction, Don’t do it!”
I had a problem years ago. I was known to be very emotional. I cried and cried and cried for years. I hated it but I just wouldn’t stop. I used to joke about it calling myself Jeremiah, you know…the Weeping Prophet. But God! – I ran into what I call, “A test” that I had to pass and this was a hard test. There was someone who friended me and had the kindest, sweetest voice that you’d ever want to hear. They gilded me into a few private conversations. What happened was, I was lonely and needed a companion. I was at my weakest then. I know God is there listening but let’s be real, God DID make Adam and Woman. Not just Adam. Not just Woman. The devil messed that up at the gate and now many are lonely or alone without any human support. I know that I had been a Pastor for years but folks, Pastors need companionship too, albeit a mate or just a good friend.  I understand that everybody doesn’t get married but that’s another chapter. Anyway, this person had a little background in the Word and I fell for it hook, line and sinker. I began to cry the blues on the phone to them thinking that I had found someone to trust. I thought that I had found someone to share with who would encourage me and lift me up! Pastors get low too! I needed a listening ear. All that I had done was made myself look bad and should I say also, weak. I ran to the wrong one. I began to see where I was respecting them more than they were respecting me! Pastors beware who you talk to. Our head is Jesus. I should have left it between me and Jesus. The one that I had ran to was weaker than me and I thought because they were so well versed in the Word, they were cool to trust. While I was depending on them to be my listening ear, they were downing my ministry, my calling, and my name. I began to notice that everyone that talked to them, no matter how long they knew me, they soon stopped talking to me! There was a problem, and it ran awry quickly! That person had discredited my persona so horribly that people were backing off of me. After I took that fall, and took a while to build back up, I learned to only shed my tears with Jesus Christ, especially if you are single in ministry and if it is too serious to tell anybody else. He won’t share your information and He surely isn’t jealous. You know how they say, “Don’t knock a man while he is down?” This is what that person was doing to me. To this day, everyone who talks to them stops talking to me! I know it’s not funny but it is crazy how the devil works to tear down all that God has built you up with. As I learned in the Marine Corp … “Dismantle!” Instead of me tearing his playhouse down, he had set the perfect trap for me. I don’t play with God or my ministry. I learned a lesson, the more someone commends you for being “Transparent,” (as this person kept doing to me,) the more they are recording in the background of their minds, your information and then they turn around and share it with others to prove that what they were saying about you was true. “Oh! I love your transparency!”-they say as you continue to cry and poor your heart out. Especially if you are a female minister. The first thing that the devil wants to do is to PROVE YOU WRONG. They tell people, “I told you she wasn’t a REAL minister! See? All that crazy cryin’ and carryin’ on! She should be trusting God and not me. Wellll…..I could do better than that!” —— Oops! There it is!!!! Who else said that? Let’s read Isaiah 14 a minute:
Isaiah 14:12-17
12  How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15  Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16  They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
17  That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
Did you see that? satan wanted to be a part of the Godhead! Elohim is a three part God; Father, Son and Holy Ghost, there is no 4. When you get someone who suffers from the sin of Coveting, that is a serious matter. Here I was, crying my eyes out to someone who had already told me that they wanted to be what I was but never got a chance. No Leader would trust them to fill that Office. I ran into a few people in my life with that very same problem. The Office that they coveted – God wouldn’t give it to them. And now I see why! I didn’t CATCH THAT see? I should have seen that don’t you think? Don’t you guys out there EVER trust your position to one who wishes that they had it!!!! EVER!!!! EVER!!!!! EVER!!!!! Do we need to go back and watch a version of Cinderella again or what????? (Someone will get that a little later.)
Listen to the description in Ezekiel 28:12-15 says about satan and the same happens to those that he uses to multiply his evil attempts.
Ezekiel 28:12-15
12  Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13  Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14  Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Let me end this by saying to you, every beautiful scenery is not blessed by the Lord God. And every beautiful voice or person is not always of God either. Every person who ‘knows’ the Word of God doesn’t have a beautiful heart. Sometimes beauty can be a resting place for demons too. Remember, Jesus struggled of sorts in the beautiful Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus, we thank you for what you did just for us. There is none like you.
Let’s keep in prayer those who may not be getting their spirits filled with the fresh anointing of the Most High as they should be.
Are you saved?

Are you spiritually dehydrated? by Rev. Esther R. Scott

Are you Spiritually Dehydrated by Rev. Esther R. Scott

Are you Spiritually Dehydrated?
Good Morning BLESSING: This is Rev Esther R.
“The subject of todays message is: “Are you Spiritually Dehydrated?” Dehydration is the loss or removal of water from something. Been feeling a little parched lately? Have you been flying at such high altitudes in the worldly realm, that instead of ‘troubles not lasting always’, they seem to be lasting forever and now they are drowning out your peace and precious time with the Father?
The word “water” is a substitute for the Word of God as in “washed in the Word” or when Jesus told the harlot at the well about water, and let’s turn to:
John 4:7-19
6.) Jesus was wearied from his journey and still helped someone. He is our extra energy when we are weary.
7  There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8  (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9  Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10  Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11  The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12  Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13  Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14  But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
15  The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
16  Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17  The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18  For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
19  The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
John 7:33-39
33  Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
34  Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come.
35  Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
36  What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come?
37  In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38  He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39  (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
And even in the very first book of the bible in Genesis it says in verse 1 of Chapter 1 that the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Water and Spirit, Spirit and Water. They are both cleansing and refreshing. They start things anew. They both fill the one who was once parched and hopeless and cause him/her to be well nourished and faithful. After Jesus was baptized by his cousin John, it was only THEN that God showed up and said aloud so that others could hear, “This is my Son in whom I Am well pleased.” God ordained Jesus’ ministry after His Water/Spiritual Baptism. Jesus certainly had nothing to repent for but He did want to be an awesome example to the rest of us.
The old song says, “Take me to the water, take me to the water, take me to the water, to be baptized.” Something happens after water baptism. There is a Power that is given to you through the Holy Spirit and just like He did for Jesus, He’ll do for you. He shows up at Baptism for those who truly have repented and are not just concerned with who is looking at them or how their gown falls to one side when they are dipped in the water. Do you get my meaning here?
There is something called a true and false repentance as well. You can look like you are repenting through your mouth but your heart is saying something different. We must check our motives. Are we getting baptized because someone else said so or because we are just ‘going with the flow’ at the time? When you go down in the water you are Dying with Christ and rising out of the water being born again: being made new in Jesus. The old man is dead and the new man has risen with Christ! Kill the Old Man! (And ladies I don’t mean to go kill your husbands it’s just a cliche’.) I remember when I got baptized the second time in Bethlehem Temple in East Liberty, around 1979, under Bishop Thomas when I lived with his daughter and their beautiful children. I was about 20 years old, drifting from place to place trying to find myself in this world and God sent me to this family. I knew nothing about speaking in tongues. I had just came out of a Baptist church which I loved but we didn’t really speak in tongues then. I went down into that water at Bethlehem and came back out speaking in a language that I had never known. I was shocked but glad at the same time! I never did that before. The two sisters on both sides of me, dressed in white told me, “Don’t stop! Keep speaking!” It was awesome. Well, that was my experience anyway. Water, then fire. I loved it. I was walking one night to catch the 12 a.m. bus,  after working at the local grocery store and a lady caught up to me and said, “You’re saved aren’t you? You’re one of them.” I said, “Yes I am.” She said, “I could tell, I see it on you.” It made me feel good. God is good.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that you MUST be water baptized, because I know some people who have accepted Jesus and have yet to be baptized and it is my opinion that if Jesus came back He wouldn’t reject them over it because it is actually a representation of repentance. It is an ‘outward show.’ I’d say that it is special don’t you. The Water/Word says, “you must be born again.” Jesus is the Word therefore the Word is true. And also in Acts 2 the disciples hadn’t gotten baptized when “the” Holy Ghost came (that’s verse 4 for all of the “The” and “Him” people.) I am just saying that it does add a little extra something-something to being saved. After all, it is the Baptism of Jesus’ cousin John, who cleared the way in the desert for Him which Paul called Baptism into Repentance, Acts 19:3-4. Militarily speaking, it promotes you from a Grunt to a Captain in the Army of the Lord. Speaking in tongues is not necessary for salvation but I believe that water baptism definitely helps you. The Holy Ghost is represented as fire and the fire comes after the water has soaked us, just like in 1st Kings chapter 18 when God set the enemies’ gods (little g) and statues on fire in their presence even AFTER they soaked them in water a few times. Elijah wasn’t afraid of false gods. In fact, he laughed at them and made fun of them saying in 1st Kings 18:27
Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.
28  And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.
They were heated at Elijah. They were so mad because the man of God was right, that the evil Queen Jezebel threatened to kill him! Imagine that! People who are so mad that they want to kill you. Nahhh, you think? And for you folks who suffer from depression don’t think that you are alone. God used Elijah as an example for you as well. If he can get over it, you can. He got so depressed over Jezebel that he hid and cried and asked God to take his life. See 1st Kings 19:4. You are not alone my friend. He kicked it and with Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMaschiach, so will you. Fear not. I’m telling you, we read the end of the Book and guess what? We won! Not win, but won…already!
God gave us water for more reasons than drinking. We simply just got a ’sample’ of the real thing that is in the Heavenlies. They say oil and water don’t mix, and neither does fire and water? Well with God it does. We ascend out of the water and the Holy Spirit decends upon us after the cleansing and washing of the Word. Now we are consumed in Him but we do not perish. We need that liquidy-fresh cleansing and anointing to receive Power. We are sanctified through it. (Made clean.) God used water to make man. If He didn’t use water, we’d blow like chaff that the wind drives away. The most of our make up is made of water and flesh. Water, (naturally and spiritually) makes one pliable. It makes you soft and agile. You can duck the darts of the enemy and run through a troop and over a wall. The more “Water/Word” you get the stronger and better you become at dodging the wiles of the enemy. It’s like the directions that you receive when you buy a new appliance. You have to learn how to use it, amen?
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,(Ephesians 5:26)
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (Titus 3:5)
————> Psalm 1
1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2  But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4  The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5  Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6  For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
See? The ungodly (parched and dried up, non-learning, self-righteous prunes) dry up and are blown away by the first wind that blows by. They are not rooted and grounded and planted by the rivers of the ‘waters.’ They are the huge Oak that is pushed over by the wind on a stormy day. You’ve seen it on the news. It looks big and is shade to possibly thousands of birds but what good is it, if it is dried up and dusty? It’s a farce. The poor birds think they have a home and a safe place in this huge Oak. It’s deceptive. Spiritually dehydrated folks do the same thing. People are sitting under their witchcraft and going through the motions not realizing that they are getting absolutely no nutrients from that old dry tree and as soon as a hard storm comes, they are going to lose their shelter. I say witchcraft because they only appear to have power but their power that they received from the spirit of the anti-Christ is only temporal. They have learned a ‘pattern’ or a ‘ritual’ and are going through the motions only. They say that they are filled with the Holy Ghost, writhing all over the floor, shaking and screaming and carrying on, yet they are filled with the Kundalini Power of satan. That’s why, when you hear some folks screaming in church, leave them alone, God may be delivering them of demons in your presence. Either that or Kundalini is controlling them. God will never do anything to embarrass you. So the next time you see someone acting up in church, just pray for them. They are hypocrites and the Greek word for hypocrites is “hypo-critis”, which means Play Acting. There is a lot of that going around in the church you know. All this fakeness and low hung blouses with high rise skirts, even Christian leaders today show so much cleavage you’d think they starred in an underground movie somewhere! Women are in clothing that is so tight that it is a distraction to those who REALLY want to hear the Word. And the same with these men with these tight pants that are skillfully sewn to show their ‘package’ so to speak, that’s not God! We should be a neat and clean representation of the Kingdom of God. What is the purpose of showing all your body in church? This isn’t a nightclub! Naomi told Ruth to lay at the man’s feet (Humility) not to get on top of him as he slept, with her cleavage popping out! Amen? Church I am afraid that some of us have lowered our standards. Every body wants to dress like an award winning play actor who has sold their souls for entertainment. satan is the king of entertainment. Jesus didn’t entertain, He wasn’t a play-actor. He healed people out of compassion not because it made His persona better.
Ezekiel 28:13-15
13  Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipeswas prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14  Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Jeremiah 23
1  Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord.
2  Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord.
Micah 3
1  And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?
2  Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;
3  Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
4  Then shall they cry unto the Lord, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
5  Thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
6  Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
7  Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
8  But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the Lord, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
9  Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.
10  They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
11  The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among us? none evil can come upon us.
12  Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
Speaking of dusty earlier, is your bible dusty? I hope not. Wipe it off and start to read amen? Everybody is so concerned that their town pool is open to the public in the   summer but what they need to concern themselves even the more with is whether or not they are diving into that leather or paper biblia/book that’s sitting on their table for show like it is a trophy hanging on the wall, and some people think that buying a lot of variations of bibles means that they are even that much more Holy! But the question is: do you know your Word? Is your Bible a trophy or a tool that you use for Victory in your life? It’s your choice. What is your “why?” Your family and children’s children should be your why. That’s why you live holy because you love the Lord and should teach your children to do so as well.  Teach your loved ones to read the Word and be washed in the Word. It’s up to you to do so now. Our Generals are leaving us slowly but surely. Will you take a stand for Jesus? Are you saved?

“Today the subject is Confess the Word of God (Jesus) and live free.
Is God’s Word the final authority in your life? Is your faith rooted and grounded on God’s Word? Or are you one of those who seem to think that the Word of God is not enough leaving you to search for another so-called, “spiritual authority” which is not a real spiritual authority at all, but a poser?
Let’s turn to today’s main scripture which is
Matthew 11:7-12
7  And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
8  But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses.
9  But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.
10  For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
11  Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
12  And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
Proverbs 16:29-30
29  A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.
30  He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.
VIOLENT PEOPLE DO WHAT THEY HAVE TO DO, WHY CAN’T CHRISTIANS DO THE SAME? So many followers of Jesus Christ are so prone to depression and giving up at times, that we, like Elijah, would rather ask to die than to stand up to the enemy and fight the good fight. Elijah had eradicated the land of all of it’s false prophets but when the Wicked Jezebel threatened his life, he got depressed and asked God to kill him. My message to you today is “DON’T GIVE UP!”
The “violence” in the Matthew 11 reading, that the Lord said the kingdom had suffered since John’s day, was the violent resistance that the unbelieving leaders in Israel waged against the proclamation of the kingdom gospel. These violent rulers made several attempts on the Lord’s life as He preached the kingdom of heaven (Luke 4:29; John 5:18; John 7:1,19,25; 8:37,40; 10:31). As the Lord went on to explain, these violent attempts on His life were attempts to take possession of the kingdom by force.
The Lord illustrated all this with the parable of the “householder” who represented God (Matt. 21:33), “which planted a vineyard” that represented Israel in the Old Testament (Matt. 21:33 cf. Isa. 5:1,2,7). God “hedged” or “fenced” Israel (Matt. 21:33 cf. Isa. 5:2) with an invisible wall of protection from her enemies, but also “digged a winepress” (Isa. 5:2 cf. Matt. 21:33), which indicated He expected to reap a harvest of grapes from his vineyard to press into wine in return for His efforts. But the “servants” that God sent Israel to gather these fruits, the Old Testament prophets, were violently persecuted (Matt. 21:35,36). Last of all, He sent them His Son (Heb. 1:1,2), but when Israel’s leaders “saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill Him; and let us seize on His inheritance” (Matt. 21:38), His inheritance being Israel (Isa. 19:25).
Spiritual success all depends on how you think, how strong your faith in God is, how much you love Him and how you use His Word against the wiles of the enemy. We should love the Lord so much that we wouldn’t question His Word and Authority even if we don’t understand it. Walking in complete Faith leaves no room for doubt. Just like the law that says that no 2 objects can occupy the same space at the same time: dark and light, oil and water, and, faith and doubt cannot either. Either you believe the Lord your Creator or you don’t. We are at war, there is a heavy and horrible spiritual battle going on and there is no demilitarized zone. The only peace that you can get is the peace of Jesus Christ.
So many of us have it backward. We yell at God, thinking that we have a right to, and we let the devil get away with murder, sometimes out of ignorance, rebellion, or just plain old fear. We watch too much tv and we are looking for that shadow in the corner with a long tail so that we can rebuke it and send it to dry places – when all along it could be your boss, children, wife, husband, parent, neighbor, old friend or fellow church member. Somewhere, someone is going to rattle your cage. Some purposefully do it and some unknowingly do it and some just like being manipulative to see how many people they can allegedly command. These are power hungry fools. How do you handle your opposers? Do you let them get away with intimidating you or do you speak, not YOUR mind, but the mind of Christ? Using God’s Word, we can be free to correct someone or something rightfully, but always be careful of the words that you speak to others no matter what the situation is, or calls for. You are a creator just like your father. If someone close to you aggravates you, the way that you answer them can cause good or bad results. The last thing that you want to do is to be responsible for the suicide of a weak person who just happened to be in a bad mood, or like Elijah, depressed at the time. What you want to do is to speak wisely to them, not taking their insults personally but allowing the devil to know that you know who he is and rebuking him like Jesus did Peter in Matt 16:23, Mark 8:33, and Luke 4:8. In doing so, you just could lead that person to salvation. Once they see you handling the situation properly, and if they don’t get offended easily, they just may want to be like you in handling those types of situations, and accept Jesus as their savior as well if they aren’t saved. Plant the seeds and the Spirit of God will cause them to grow. The Holy Spirit doesn’t break toes, He just steps on them a little, once in a while.
What we should really do in life is to shout at the devil who tries to take over our minds, our thoughts and sometimes causes us to speak death into situations instead of life. Be violent with the one who is violent with you, amen? satan is not playing tiddly-winks here. Have you ever stated something so negatively that you had to check your own statement and attitude? That was the swaying of your hater, taking over your thoughts and making you speak something that Jesus wouldn’t approve of. When these things happen, we need to stop, drop and roll. Stop the negativity and redirect your mouth and thoughts, drop the attitude that made you say what you did and roll on with what God would have you to say to enlighten the mind of the other party instead of leading them to stress which could lead to sickness and possibly death one day. Then, their death would be on your hands so to speak. I wonder how many have passed this life early because of negative Atom-bombs being dropped upon them mostly throughout their lives?
Did you ever have someone yell at you and down you so horribly that you began to literally get a headache and not feel so well? What is happening is that, their negative energy is pouring out upon you and draining you of your joy and peace. You can  literally hear nothing good about yourself coming out of their mouth as though their mouth was a septic system or something. Sometimes someone can download on you, or, as some say, “drop a load” on you so harshly that it can lead you to sickness. Then you are wondering why you are not sleeping well, your stomach always hurts, or you have bags under your eyes and your energy is drained.
Those are the times that you need to speak up what the Word of God says. “I Am a Child of the Most High God, the Father and I are one.” “I Am not what you say that I am.” “I am sorry if I ever offended you but I refuse to allow you to make me your punching bag.” Some people get so good at spewing negativity that they begin to practice it as much as they can. Making others look or feel bad – makes them feel better about themselves. Everything is your fault, it is certainly not theirs. It becomes a nasty habit and you are watching them walk down a narrow, deep and dark path that will hinder their walk with the Lord one day. It’s called “Vanity.” Listen to what vanity means: 1 excessive pride in or admiration of one’s own appearance OR achievements: 2 the quality of being worthless or futile: They begin to use it as a defense mechanism. Instead of forgiving others as Jesus told us to do, they down others to make themselves feel better. They begin to enjoy their alleged ‘manipulation’. After a while, they begin to feel as though they went to a Spa, jumped in a Jacuzzi and soaked a while. It becomes a cool, (or should I say ‘icy’ dip) in an Epsom Salt bath, or a bandaid for them. “Well…I guess I told THEM! They’ll think twice before messing with ME again.” they say proudly. The devil is using the situation against them but they think that it is healing to curse someone out and kill the joy of others. That’s not the ways of Jesus, folks.
God’s Word has the healing properties that we need. Study it daily, it relieves the stresses of life. The Hebrew word for God’s Word is “Siyach” which means to ponder, converse with oneself and, utter aloud. Do you know what this means? DON’T BE AFRAID TO UTTER ALOUD! If someone is listening, they just may get healed. Don’t worry about who is listening just know that God hears you, that’s all that matters. Amen? Obviously the enemy coined the phrase, “Talking to yourself is crazy.”  I “utter” all of the time. The best thing to utter is God’s Word! You’ll get your best answers from Him! It is the way that He loves to communicate to you via His Holy Spirit. You read and the Spirit will translate to the Spirit in you.  God is the final authority in my life! Who is yours?
Let’s take a look at some scripture about the Word shall we?
Psalm 1:2-3
2  But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Psalm 119:15-16
15  I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
16  I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
Luke 16:16
16  The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
1 Timothy 4:15-16
15  Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
16  Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
Deuteronomy 31:19
19  Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.
Ephesians 5:19-20
19  Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20  Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Extra scriptures:
Psalm 17:0-4
Psalm 17
1  Hear the right, O Lord, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
2  Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.
3  Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
4  Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.
Proverbs 30:5-7
5  Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6  Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
7  Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:
Deuteronomy 6:6-19
6  And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7  And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
8  And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
9  And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
10  And it shall be, when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
11  And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;
12  Then beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
13  Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.
14  Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
15  (For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
16  Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.
17  Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.
18  And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers,
19  To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the Lord hath spoken.
Deuteronomy 11:20-23
20  And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:
21  That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
22  For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;
23  Then will the Lord drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.
Deliverance through the Word:
Psalm 107:20-22
20  He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
21  Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
22  And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
John 8:31-32
31  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Psalm 119:45-50
45  And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
46  I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
47  And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
48  My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
49  ZAIN.Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
50  This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
Proverbs 6:20-23
20  My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
21  Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck.
22  When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.
23  For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
1 Samuel 3:9-11
9  Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
10  And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.
11  And the Lord said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.
4. There are 4 keys in applying the Word:
a. Put the Word in your heart
b. Meditate on the Word
c. Confess the Word.
d. Be a doer of the Word.
And learn to let go of traditions. Traditions are the main causes of some who may not get into Heaven. They treasure man’s word over God’s Word:
Matthew 15
1  Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
2  Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
3  But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
Here are some enemies against applying the Word;
1. 2 JOHN 2: 15-16
a. Lust of the flesh
b. Lust of the eyes
c. The pride of life
2. Lust of the eyes
a. Samson’s downfall
1. Judges 16:1, 4
b. Davids’s downfall
1. 2 Sam 11
3. Lust of the flesh
a. Balaam the prophet
1. Numbers 22:17, 37 Balaam had a desire for fame and fortune.
4. Pride of life
a. Saul’s downfall
1. 1Sam 15:17 “…when thou wast little in thine own sight….”
2. Saul grew prideful to do what he wanted to do.
The Word is a weapon! The Word is YOUR weapon! USE IT!
Eph 6:17
Ephesians 6:17
17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Learn to use the Word correctly. Learn who to yell at and who NOT to yell at, amen? Are you saved?

Church online with me, Rev Essie, every Sunday at 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, at 1-917-889-8054 is for those who cannot attend the usual “brick and mortar” service who don’t want to leave their church but need to hear the Word momentarily for various reasons: sick and shut in, transportation troubles, etc. Know that we are praying for you and for God to send you favor quickly. Also remember that “Troubles don’t last always! You have the Victory. Today the subject is Spiritual Ignorance. It sometimes seems that the more communication that the World offers us, the more some become ignorant of God’s Word. As much as the enemy has been trying to convince our younger generations that the Word is not real, we should be convincing them that it is and not idling standing by ‘hoping’ that Jesus will come back soon. Are you idling standing by?

Let us pray
Read 1 Timothy 1 -17
What is ignorance? It is a lack of knowledge or information:
Notice that in the beginning Paul is not afraid to announce ‘’who” he is in Christ Jesus. That is important here and with us as well. If you don’t know who and whose you are, you will not be very successful in anything that you attempt to do, or anything that you introduce your talent or blessings to. There is nothing like a timid minister. In fact, this is addressed to Pastor Timothy whose name actually is derived from the word ‘timid.’ Paul noticed this timidness, because Timothy was a young Pastor, and how things were happening in his church therefore he discusses the matter with him of which there is no rebuttal. Paul is doing what Apostles are supposed to do. He is educating a young pastor as what to expect in his congregation or what has been going on that shouldn’t. He is giving him strength and hope and showing him that what he is about to experience in his congregation, or already experiencing, is not a dream. Paul knows the devils wiles, (he ought to he used to be one and some of us too,)  and he is announcing them and introducing them to this young Pastor as confirmation to what he has been or may experience. I say that he was once one because he used to persecute and kill believers before that awesome Damascus Road incident where the Lord blinded him and asked why he was torturing His people. Paul turned around real quick. Don’t you wish some of your loved ones would turn around like that? Keep praying, God hears. Amen.
He calls Timothy his son in faith, announcing the importance of having a spiritual Father. He tells Timothy that whomever he ordains to do God’s work, should not teach any other doctrine than the doctrine that he has taught him. There are so many false teachers and preachers out now a day that we have to be careful who we sit under and learn from. People can be fickle. If the preacher dresses well or is gorgeous or handsome, they won’t trade them for the world. To many Christians the outer appearance is important to their salvation. God told Prophet Samuel not to look on outer appearances because He looks on the heart and you’d think people would take that to heart but we’ve swerved so far from the truth that we choose our leaders from their look and not the book. Paul is condemning unsound doctrine, fables, foolishness, and religiosity. There were so many then who took the word of God and changed it into manipulation and witchcraft, (as in Simon the Warlock in Acts 8:10 who bewitched people with his signs and wonders who thought that he could buy the power of the Holy Ghost with money.) People still do that today! Some churches actually keep books on how much people have paid and what they should pay for. Jesus didn’t carry a manuscript around with him with record of the payments of his followers.
He tells us not to get caught up in genealogies because they only bring on more questions instead of godly edifying. When looking up the definition of ‘genealogy’ we see that it means: a line of descent traced continuously from an ancestor: combing through the birth records and genealogies.
the study and tracing of lines of descent or development.
a plant’s or animal’s line of evolutionary development from earlier forms.
People are always trying to research where they are from or exactly ‘what’ is in their veins, amen? As long as you have Jesus blood in you, on you and over you, you are doing a-ok, amen? Can you imagine those who argued over who was closer to Jesus like they did when they asked Jesus who was the greatest? (Matthew 18.) (Mark 9:4).  We have that Ancestry company that allegedly tells people what is in their blood and where they originated from and as long as it is something that they like, they are happy. I’ve seen some people get so proudful when they find out what nationality is allegedly in their veins. They don’t realize that it is taking precedence over just loving the inside of themselves and others. See? Spiritual ignorance. People are too concerned about what’s going on – on the outside instead of what is needed to be holy on the inside. Serve the Lord, not our flesh or our background. Soooooo are we more happy because we have Hebrew roots? Ooooouuuu! I could be related to Jesus! That makes me better than you! Then they look down on others as though they were peons. Or I could be related to King David or a Great German Counselor. Woooo! Hooooo!
We are to edify others, not put them down or make them feel inadequate. I see a lot of this going on in the church and in the world as well. If you aren’t in someone’s ‘gang’ then you are nothing to them. Little do they know, God may have sent you there like Queen Esther, for such as time as this, but they turn you down because you “don’t qualify” according to their standards. Spiritual Ignorance see?
Love is the test!
Verse 5. The end of the commandment is charity from a pure heart and a  good conscience, and of faith unfeigned which means to be genuine and sincere, not a wolf with a sheepskin on the outside, as he peers out from under the sheeps face at you like we see in so many online pictures. Jesus is love therefore we ought to practice love as well. If you haven’t received much love in your life, don’t testify about it as much as learning to share what is inside of you. I hear people talking about how much they haven’t been loved in their lives therefore it’s hard for them to give love but here’s the kicker: If you got saved and the Lord lives in you via the Holy Ghost, why is it so hard to love if you are paying attention to and listening to the Holy Spirit within you? This is where the good conscience comes in. Pray, meditate and listen and you will learn to love so well via the Holy Ghost that no one will even know that you missed love growing up. Amen?
This leads right into the next verse, Verse 7:
People are desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor of what they affirm. Ok, “I’m a Christian and I love Jesus but for some reason, I can’t stand my Aunt Suzie. Lord forgive me. Lol.” Ummm, oxymoron perhaps? I would say that this is ignorance of the Word to the fullest. They can’t stand others but they want to teach you? I think not! There are so many people desiring to be in ministry but they won’t change their hard hearts to be able to answer the call. God won’t bless a mess. They don’t even know the Word good enough or have studied it well enough to teach others. They won’t crack open that bible at proper times or buy a notebook, a pen, a dictionary or Strong’s Concordance, and earnestly pray, to save their soul. Now don’t get me wrong because everyone doesn’t need all of that to study but just simply STUDY!  Study to shew thyself approved! Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15) The Spirit of God will whisper to you what you need to know in order to give you experience, on and in, certain subjects of the Word. In this microwave society people want “preaching and teaching on demand” don’t they? I got saved in January so let me tell you how to live saved now that it’s February. I don’t think so! Experience is the key! Love is the key!
I don’t know if this has ever happened to you but I myself have experienced those who can’t stand me but they want to be preachers. I may be their test and if they can’t get over me, how can they love others and preach the Word? I’ve experienced their personal wrath, albeit, personal vendetta first hand. Everybody that ends up talking to them…stops talking to me! There is a problem there and people fall for it hook, line and sinker. But they want to lead the sheep! Right……  And then there’s the accusers of the brethren who God mysteriously I presume, appointed them to ‘tell’ others who is a false preacher and who isn’t. They are so holy that they just know this. Erybody wants to be Apostle Paul with no education or experience whatsoever. Unless it’s them….EVERYBODY is false!
Verse 8
The law of good if you live it the way that God intended for you to live. In other words, do right, live right and you won’t have a problem.
Verse 9
The law was not made for you if you are saved and live holy. Holiness doesn’t need the law. Just like the law of the land, you don’t need it if you live right. That’s what righteousness means. Living right. But know this, if you are a, pardon my expression, a hell-raiser, you WILL run up into and against the law. God doesn’t like hell-raisers, He put it where it is supposed to be and He doesn’t intend for it to be raised up where it shouldn’t be amen? God doesn’t need our help. Hell was made for the devil and his fallen angels, not God’s people. There is a great gulf, a great separation there. Luke 16.
Verse 10 Paul begins to call out those who are godless and ungodly. whoremongers, murderers, rebellious, menstealers (Here’s my number and a dime, call me anytime! Call me, if you need someone to talk to. – 70’s song.) Liars, that includes fibbers, little ‘white’ lies. Funeral directors at mortuaries who abuse dead bodies, etc. Paul says that all these things are contrary to sound doctrine.
Verse 11 He explains that His doctrine was giving to him by our Blessed God who trusted him to deliver the Word. I too am trusted by our Father to deliver His Word and in the way that He has given me, I will continue to do so no matter who likes me or who doesn’t.
Verse 12+ He also thanks Jesus our Lord who enabled him and counted him as faithful and put him in ministry. Paul is not doubting his ministry. The devil will try to make you doubt your own ministry. he will prevent people from hearing you, set doubt in their minds about you as I said before. he will even speak to your mind and set your own mind against you at times. I’ve been through it, “You’re not called, they were right, you’re not a real preacher, what are you calling yourself doing? Why don’t you just quit and stop misleading people.” Or hows about this one, “The Higher Ups don’t even fellowship with you or talk to you. Doesn’t that tell you something about yourself?”
Paul announces his old ways, a blasphemer, persecutor, injurious but he obtained God’s mercy because he did it ignorantly in unbelief. Paul was unworthy. But after you get saved and get the Holy Ghost placed within you, you should not be doing these things. There should be a change of heart, a change of mind.
Verse 14+ Paul speak of the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundance the faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. God’s Grace can be bestowed upon you through His Son. Regardless of what you’ve been hearing, Jesus is the ONLY way. Paul says that Jesus came into the world to save sinners. That was His purpose, to save YOU. Don’t let any devil cheat you out of your inheritance! Paul even says that he is the chiefest of sinners. We should all say that. No one is perfect. There is no one who DOESN’T need Jesus. We have to learn to be longsufferers to receive the promise of God. What we are going to experience with God will not come easy. The devil is going to do all that he can to throw you off. But you have to trust God. Trust is the main issue in our lives. You are alive, hasn’t he awakened you this morning? You didn’t wake up on your own. He allowed you one more day. Don’t waste it. Amen?
1 Timothy 1:16-17
16  Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
Here are some instances of the Sin of Ignorance if you’d like to write them down. Lev 4:2, 5:17, Luke 12:48, Acts 3:17, 1 Tim 1:13 (our scripture today.)
Are you saved? Do you want to get out of the Spiritual Ignorance realm and walk in the knowledge of the Most High God with Jesus? Accept Him as your Savior, now…. (Lead into salvation.)
17  Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.********
