Jesus warned about that very clearly—He didn’t want people being misled by hype, rumors, or false claims.

Here are the key places where He said it:
📖 Matthew 24:23–27
This is the clearest warning:
“Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets…
Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth…
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west;
so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
👉 Translation:
Don’t chase people claiming “He’s over here!” or “He’s over there!”
When Jesus returns, it won’t be hidden—it will be undeniable.
📖 Mark 13:21–23
“And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise…”
👉 Same warning, different wording—don’t fall for it.
📖 Luke 17:23–24
“And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
For as the lightning… so shall also the Son of man be in his day.”
👉 Again—don’t run after reports or sightings.
🔥 Straight truth
Jesus was warning about deception in the last days. People will claim:
- “I saw Him”
- “He’s appearing over here”
- “He’s in this place”
And Jesus said plainly: don’t believe it, don’t follow it.
Because when He truly returns:
- It won’t be private
- It won’t be localized
- It won’t be questionable
Everybody will know.
