Easy peazy 17 pound, 12 hour turkey.

Note: We put our turkey in at 6 pm until 6 am on 175* overnight. You can’t go wrong. It is tender like a hot knife going through butter. Some are concerned about it being low all night but we have done it for years with not problems and happy bellies. In the morning the turkey reads 167* when only 165 is needed for the internal temp. On the 13 th hour, take the lid off and brown it for about ยฝ hour or 45 mins. May have to put aluminum foil on it, (tent it.) Happy eating!
