Last night I wrestled

I had a beautiful day Tuesday April 9, 2024. I had celebrated all day the birth of our beautiful Jesus who died for us on the cross. Scholars have come to the conclusion that he was born Nissan 1 which equals April 9, 2024. My daughter and I even had a cute little white cake that we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus with. The sun was beautiful, the birds were chirping, it was an all-around good day.

My neighbors have some chickens that they don’t watch very well and they were running in our yard all day long but besides that it was a good day. The fence that they keep their chickens in is broken and her son just keeps letting them out even though he knows it is broken he won’t fix it. They run over in our yard because they are hungry so they eat the seeds that the birds drop from my birdfeeder. So now I am feeding my neighbors chickens without being paid to do so. Since November 2023. All the bird seed that I buy turns out to be feed for my neighbors chickens. There was about 24 of them at one time but he gave some away. You were only allowed to have so many in a certain enclosed space size. If she would’ve offered me a little bit of money monthly I wouldn’t mind doing it. (05/02/24-Edit: She and her husband just came home April 28th, 2024.)

I don’t know how long this is going to go on but I will make it through Christ Jesus. We get along with all of our other neighbors just fine but there’s always just that one you know? My other neighbor is in her 80s, acts like she’s in her 50s, and has a ranch style house that looks like a mansion inside. She always invites me up for coffee and wants to get to know each other better. Some people want to act like they’re angels but this lady is an earthly angel. Your spirit can discern it whenever you talk to her or look into her eyes. And her family acts just like her very friendly, clean, nice and pleasant to talk to. No shuckin’ and jivin’, just total peace and love.

Our other neighbor has been gone since the beginning of November of last year and her son who does absolutely nothing for her is calling himself taking care of their chickens. He doesn’t cut her grass, he doesn’t help her with the horses, he does absolutely nothing. He saw my daughter cutting grass yesterday so yes, he let the chickens loose again. He even told my daughter once that he hates doing horses and the chickens and he will not do them. What are you gonna do you know? This is a time when you’re being tested and you have to totally leave it up to the Lord or you will lose your mind. Since last November it’s looked quite ghetto but my daughter takes good care of our yard so we will overcome, plus people from this area know it’s not us. People have actually driven by and asked me who does our yard. We have a whole acre. I had to tell them that my daughter does it and they’re very surprised and comment on how nice our yard looks. One day after my daughter did the grass really nice, it looked like a “golf course” which is what people say to us, his mother drove over with her lawn tractor with the blades dropped low and rode/drew a circle over my daughters beautiful grass and told us “I don’t want your yard to look better than mine.” To me that is a heck of a joke.

Last night I took one Advil p.m. And it didn’t work. Around 11 o’clock I took another one because you’re usually supposed to take two. They didn’t work. Sooner or later I suppose I went to sleep. It was off and on with a bunch of wrestling until I looked up at the clock and it was almost 2 o’clock in the morning. It was one of those weird nights where you were most likely sleeping but you wake yourself up and say that you weren’t sleeping. It’s kind of funny how that happens. It is now 9:33 in the morning on April 10 2024 and I feel slightly groggy but not too bad at all. I think my good Mc Café coffee is waking me up. You have to try it it’s actually better than Folgers if you like a deep rich coffee.

I had an experience though and I was wide awake when it happened. I looked over at my bedside table to see what time it was and I actually saw a vision that doesn’t happen to me very much but I did have a vision. Usually God speaks to me in my dreams. Sometimes the enemy tries to stop you from going to sleep so that God can’t speak to you in your dreams. Anyway, I saw a rectangle-shaped Rainbow drifting across my bed room table. I looked again to make sure of what I was seeing, and it was. It was about 6 inches long end it wasn’t bright or vivid but it was beautiful. It was a dim but beautiful version of Gods rainbow. I know it had to be God because right after I saw that rainbow I went to sleep. God is a good God. The funny thing is I follow a man name Rabbi Kirt Schneider and he had a similar Rainbow experience but he saw a rainbow in his entirel room. Guess what was on my bedside table? A book that he sent me about the Song of songs in the Bible.

I have to tell you that God is going to do a new thing in my life I can feel it. He is showing me things in my dreams where he’s lifting me up. God wants to do a new thing in your life as well. You have to concentrate on him and put him first. I know some of your lives are very busy but you have to make room for the Lord. Go into your prayer closet when you can. God wants to do a new thing in you.
