Fish don’t fry in the kitchen.

One of my and my daughters favorite characters on tv is George Jefferson of The Jeffersons. I think of how hard it is to have gotten along with him and how stubborn he could be. He had his own personality. Sometimes they wanted to almost slap him yet sometimes they wanted to hug him. He was nearly impossible to please. He had his pride and his dignity. He did things his own way. But! Deep inside he was a tender baby especially with his wife and mother. When Mom came around, he melted and she sometimes took advantage of that.

Now I think of us. We all have that same character. Sometimes we may be a little odd, hard to get along with or stubborn but, we all have our inside tenderness, that Holy Spirit indwelling. We have our ways as well. Sometimes people may want to slap us too! Lol. No one is perfect. Isn’t it wonderful how God made us to be ourselves and allows us to be? He loves us no matter how hard or stubborn that we are as long as we recognize Him as our Maker.

Isa 54:9  For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

Isa 54:10  For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

Isa 54:11  O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
