Good Saturday morning! 10/22/21

It is such a wonderful way to bless God by waking up on a beautiful Saturday morning and giving him all the glory. He kept you alive as you slept last night and he has many more wonderful gifts for you today. And just like Jesus he has his angels watching over you as well. No weapon formed against you shall prosper and everything that rises up against you – you will judge. Remember the song?

No weapon formed against me shall prosper, all that rise(s) up against me shall fall. I will not fear what devil may bring me, I am a child God.

The song we sing about no weapon prospering is a cute song but it doesn’t quite say what The Bible says. The Bible says that we shall judge. Christians have a right to judge. God gave us the power.

Isa 54:17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Lev 19:15  Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour. 1Co 6:2  Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
1Co 6:3  Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
Jas 2:12  So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

The explanation of …

Luk 6:37  Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

📖 Luke 6:27-38
Luke’s version of the Sermon on the Mount differs from that of Matthew, only as each views the great discourse from his own standpoint. By one it is viewed as the manifesto of the King; by the other, as the proclamation of “the Man Christ Jesus” to man.
Notice the secret of blessedness! Here is the draught-sketch of a life of abounding blessing, overflowing with mercy and lovingkindness. With what measure we mete out our love to men, they will measure back their love to us, using our own measures for the purpose.
Each of these Beatitudes is a gateway into blessedness. It is not that blessedness is the reward of virtue, but it is the necessary and invariable result. Only we must be good, because it is right and God-pleasing to be so, and the blessedness will be as natural as the bloom on the peach. 🍑🍑🍑

Have a beautifully blessed day!
