Pulpit preachers believing in killing babies?

Sometimes what is on a preachers mind will knock your socks off. Every preacher is NOT going by God’s Word no matter how good they make it look, how priestly their robes are, how cute their clothes seem or how large their vocabulary is, or get this…no matter HOW good they THINK that they are.

I just had the saddest conversation with a preacher whose name need not be disclosed, who told me that she believes in abortions. She didn’t say it so much ‘proudly’ but she said it nonetheless. She just blindly stated it. My heart broke. And I also noticed that she was overtalking me while I was attempting to give her God’s Word on the subject! It’s as though something in her didn’t want to hear it. A Pulpit Preacher I tell you! What is wrong with this nation when Preachers believe in abortions? I believe that some may still be convicted of their own perhaps, not realizing that Jesus forgave them as a personal forgiveness and not as a ticket to allow others to experience their sin as well but that’s just my opinion because it is not always because of that. Once you are delivered of a sin, go tell other’s not to do it. Matthew 28:18-20. Much of what we preach today, we have experienced but you don’t have to use everything as personal examples. Even Jesus did stories and sometimes parables. A parable (parabolos) is something that you use aside of a teaching to make a point. And there were times that Jesus used real examples such as the Rich man and Lazarus. They had names. When He used names, it was a fact not a story. Notice that you don’t see Jesus using examples of men approaching Him in sexual manners right? Mad yet? Well guess what, the bible says that Jesus was tempted in EVERY area. He took all of that mess to the Cross for you and for me. Guess that includes homosexuality too right? Not that He fell for it because the devil’s wiles do not interest Jesus but with the Power that He was displaying you can only imagine the ‘messes’ that approached Him everyday. People are attracted to the Power within us not us so there are a lot of preachers who have to come to the realization that they are NOT all that and a bag of chips. GOD is. I just had someone laugh at me because they were listening to one of my old radio sermons and said they weren’t sure if it was my voice until they heard, “all that and a bag of chips.” I loved it. God bless them.)

I had a minister resign from my ministry once because he was having sexual dreams about me and couldn’t take it anymore and you know what? I respect him for admitting it and leaving the way that he did. He was awesome too. It could have been handled better but we were both single and would have to have called an outsider in the office to help us handle the situation. I never took men into my office without someone else being there as well as a witness.

About the abortion comment, do NOT allow the devil to keep bringing your sins up in your mind! It’s done! Jesus forgave and it’s over. Now go stop other girls/ladies from having abortions. My preacher friend said, “Who am I to judge?” That’s sad. If any of you had one go stop anyone else from killing their baby!!!

The first scripture that she attempted to use was “thou shalt not judge.” I said, “but God says in His Word that the Saints CAN judge. Too many people have used that scripture erroneously to defend their faults and sins. Here is what the Word itself says about Saints judging:

1Co 6:2  Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

1Co 6:3  Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

1Co 6:5  I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

Now, if the Word of God tells us that we are to judge, know that God meant that for Kingdom reasons and not personal reasons. Judge others on what the Word of God says, not how your feelings are about the subject. It just makes sense.

Sorry, I have to go get some coffee after that odd conversation. God bless y’all and have a great day.
