Logos and Rhema

Logos and Rhema

While reading the Word of God you must first realize that you have to receive it as the Word of truth and not as from man. Many have tried to label the bible as being written by man’s hands only yet they refuse to understand that God’s Spirit gave them the words to write and they obeyed Him. John 4:24 says that God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth.

The Word is the truth and will endure. Ps. 119:89, Mat 24:35, Is 40:8
The results of unbelief of the bible. Pro 13:13, Is 5:24, Heb 4:2
We are to believe all of the bible. James 2:10, Matt 28:20, Matt 5:17, 2Tim 2:15, 3:15

The difference between Logos and Rhema:

Logos is head knowledge. satan can speak to your head. Your mind is constantly a battlefield. There are those who have read the bible and can recite it backward and frontward but still have no relationship with the Lord whatsoever, meanwhile, the wonder why their lives are not better. They refused to make Jesus their Savior and King.

Rhema is heart knowledge. God speaks to your heart. Rhema is the living Word that is alive in us. John 15:7. We use it to receive a promise of God in the time of need. God is not a man that He should lie. Num 23:19, Titus 1:2, Heb 6:18

The Word gives you strength, revelation, it sanctifies, causes growth, keeps you, gives you hope, faith, wisdom, wisdom and direction. It ministers to us, gives us healing and deliverance.

1 Cor. 2:11-14, Daniel 12:4
The main thing is to read the bible and not a substitute: 1Tim 4:13, 2Tim 2:15, John 5:39, Is 34:16, Deut 17:19. Read to learn the fear of the Most High God. This fear is not to crouch down and hide but to respect Him.
