For 13 years I had a daycare. It was a great experience for me. My children were toughened through it, sharing everything that they had with people that they didn’t know. It had to be a bitter-sweet experience for my kids as well. What really feels good is when I am in a shopping mall and one of the kids that I watched comes up to me and leans on my shoulder and says, “Remember me Ms. Essie?”  I have to tell you, sometimes I don’t. They grow up so fast.  They grow up so beautiful and handsome.

I ask God to bless each and every one that came to Essie’s Day Care. In Jesus name. It was fun.
