Last night my daughter and I sat in the kitchen drinking tea and eating donuts after a good meal. We were just having a lovely evening and the thought came to her. She said, “Mom, this is awesome! It’s like chilling in a closed-in porch, rocking in a rocking chair like the old country folks used to do.” I laughed and agreed.

We have one window on the same side as the door so you may as well say that it’s like a Bay Window. 3 years here this coming June and we never thought of it like that. We are surrounded by nature, green grass and trees everywhere with a neighbor here and there. We actually only see 2 of them really. God gave us this place that we call Heaven. We have deer, geese, turkeys and every type of bird in the book.
Sometimes you just have to make the best of what you have and thank God for it. God is good. Baruch Atah Adonai!
