Franchot made a video where he was struggling with what one of our ex presidents did by signing his name to an Israeli bomb. I just want to share my comment that I put on his video. I want you to see how military people feel when it comes to serving God and country. When I was called into the ministry I struggled with thoughts in my mind such as whether or not to destroy the enemy or to pray for the enemy. Especially being a Marine, one of the most highly trained military forces in the world, my training collided with my spiritual training. I assume you haven’t heard many military preachers saying this. I’ve never heard anyone discuss this except myself but I have to put this out there for those of you who may be going through the same thing. We all know the Bible says a double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Don’t let that throw you off.
Jas 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
When God calls you to do a thing you have to do that thing. In my situation God called me to be a Marine and then called me to be a preacher. Shout out to all of those men out there who do not believe in female preachers. I do not feel that we should have any condemnation about our callings. Here is my comment that I added to Franchchots video.
“As a Marine and a Preacher I am a little torn on this info. The ‘Marine me’ enjoys and wants to laugh and celebrate it but the preacher in me says that there should have been a different way to handle it. Pray for those who struggle with double mindedness due to the military. Even King David was a Warrior and he went down in history for it. I pray for everyone around the world but Israel’s enemies have to stop harassing, beheading Israeli babies, and raping women on camera and just leave Israel alone. What is better? Signing your name on a bomb or raping women, beheading babies and destroying someone’s peace? Being a soldier is a calling. They have to do what they were called to do. Don’t lose your peace over this Franchot, your Father in Heaven sees it all and we all will be held accountable one day. God’s got this.”
The question that I have for you (the reader) is, are you military and do you feel the same way? Has anyone else struggled with this? I would really like to know your thoughts on this.

Blessings!
