|We bless you in Jesus mighty name! 1st John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. “The Anointing Destroys every yoke.” I am sure that nearly everyone of you who are reading this has heard that term somewhere before. It is a dynamic and powerful statement if only we would take the time to consider exactly what it means. Some people worship the Lord on a superficial basis. They go to church, they pray, listen to the choir,(half of them donate), they listen to the preacher, come home and when someone asks, “what was the sermon on today?” they don’t have a clue. In order to worship God on a “dynamic” basis, one needs to learn to hear from His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a “He” and not an “it.” He is the 3rd person of the Holy Trinity. He is our Teacher and our Guide. You do not need spiritual guides or mediums with Him around. He guides us into all Truth. The Truth and nothing but the Truth. We speak Peace to your soul….. Romans 10:|
• 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
|John 16:13 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Let’s take a look at the word dynamite. Dynamite comes from the Greek word, “Dunamis” which describes the power of God. God’s power is like dynamite, once it hits, nothing is left intact. The anointing is the very life of Jesus Christ within you, and through you to minister to others. The NAS New Testament Greek Lexicon Strong’s Number: Original Word dunamiß 1411 (con’t) Word Origin from (1410) Strong’s Number: 1411 Transliterated Word TDNT Entry Dunamis 2:284,186 Phonetic Spelling Parts of Speech doo’-nam-is Noun Feminine Definition 1. strength power, ability inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth power for performing miracles moral power and excellence of soul the power and influence which belong to riches and wealth power and resources arising from numbers power consisting in or resting upon armies, forces, hosts NAS Word Usage – Total: 121|
ability 4, meaning 1, mightily 1, mighty 1, miracle 2, miracles 17, miraculous powers 3, power 83, powers 6, strength 2, wealth 1 Notice letter ‘d.’ The power and influence which belong to riches and wealth. The way to wealth is none other than God’s own Power! Witches and warlocks get it wrong. They think that they have power by worshiping a fallen angel that suffers from oppositional defiance which makes them the same. If they would only stop worshiping a freak and start worshiping the one, true, God, their lives would change for the better and they wouldn’t have to stay in dark places and hide, waiting for the government to pass laws for them to be able to practice their ‘craft.’ Instead of the hocus pocus mess that they infuse into their daily living, they should try speaking in tongues in the power of the Holy Ghost. What a wonderful vision He would give them that would make them rich! Spiritual wealth beats any other kind of wealth that anyone could fathom. To be spiritually wealthy is to be content.
11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
We are to have Victory over anxiety. Anxiety or anger are only misdirected concerns, twisted thinking. You are fueling the fire with it. We are to be content, happy with what we have. When God sees that you are a good stewart over what He has given you, it is then that He can trust you with more. My daughter wanted to work for God’s Kingdom these past few years. She watches what I do and has learned to pray, fast, love, share compassion, expand her ministry of helps, and strengthen her belief in Jesus. I felt the desire in her and wanted so much to just label her as a Minister and keep stepping. That is not how you do it. Especially with me, her mother, being the Founder of New Birth Ministries. I just wanted to make her Co-Pastor and call it a day. But that was not God’s Will. Putting a novice in office is like setting a baby in a Cadillac and telling him to drive.
She just hadn’t “gone through” anything yet. She had a long way to go. Being a minister of God is a daily learning process. Even the Apostle Paul said, “I die daily”. He was learning how to kill his flesh on a daily basis. And he was THE great Apostle Paul! If he had a hard time how much more would we today, where love waxes cold and contention is in the air everywhere you look?
I watched my daughter learn how to seriously fast, how to wait upon the Lord for her tongue-language, how to take a hit and keep on praying, how to ditch the shyness and look someone in the eye, how to read and study God’s Word. She not only went to Bible School with me years ago for 3 almost 4 years, she studied under our online Bible School as well with New Birth Bible Institute. She did 12 months of studying, one month at a time, tests and all. I didn’t give her straight A’s because she was my daughter either. That young lady went through an awesome transformation. I saw her old friends back off of her online and in real time. They just didn’t believe nor understand that she had changed. She had a very close relative say that they didn’t believe it either. She went through I tell you. Now she truly fits the shoe of a Minister. She is awesome! Sometimes I learn things from her. She waited on the Lord for His anointing. She has it and I am Godly proud of her. She visited a church lately and was asked to pray on people! As they all held hands and she began to pray, people began shaking on one side of her while the other person holding her hand squeezed it tightly as though she had hit a topic that they needed to hear. They kissed her, hugged her and thanked her.
People can see if you truly have God’s anointing on you. That is something that some try to force not realizing due to their flesh that you cannot rush God. Our arms are too short to box with God. Let’s take a look at the word, “Anointing”. (One ‘n’ in the beginning for those who used to spell it with two.)
verb [ with obj. ] Rev 15
smear or rub with oil, typically as part of a religious ceremony: high priests were anointed
with oil | bodies were anointed after death for burial.
• (anoint something with) smear or rub something with (any other substance): Cuna Indians anoint the tips of their arrows with poison.
• ceremonially confer divine or holy office upon (a priest or monarch) by smearing or rubbing with oil: the Lord has anointed me to preach to the poor | [ with obj. and complement ] : Samuel anointed him king.
• nominate or choose (someone) as successor to or leading candidate for a position: he was anointed as the organizational candidate of the party | (as adj. anointed) : his officially anointed heir. PHRASES
Anointing of the Sick the sacramental anointing of the ill or infirm with blessed oil; unction.
God’s (or the Lord’s ) anointed a monarch ruling by divine right.
anointment noun Hmmm, so ‘anointment’ IS a real word. Interesting. I heard a teacher once make fun of people who used that word. Oh well.
ORIGIN Middle English: from Old French enoint ‘anointed,’ past participle of enoindre, from Latin inungere, from in- ‘upon’ + ungere ‘anoint, smear with oil.’
To smear is to have it all over you, messy, thick and heavy. Kinda like the little duck who walked into a grease pit. He’s so full of black grease you have to wash him by hand if you want him clean.
The Hebrew word is Mashach. To smear with oil. To anoint, to consecrate. To paint.
“Shemen” To grease, liquid, as from the olive, richness, fat thing, fruitful. Greek is “Aleipho” to oil with perfume, general term used for anointing. This one is used most often. “Enchrio” To rub in oil. “Epichrio” to smear over. “Murizo” to apply. And “Chrio” and idea of contact. To smear or rub with oil. Notice how closely the word is to “Christ”. Jesus is the anointed One. Amen!
Luke 3:21-22, 4:18 Acts 10:38 Acts 4:27 Christ in Greek is Christos which means Anointed Messiah. The believer is also anointed:
2 Corinthians 1:20-22
20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
Then anointing is fully released in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit: John 4:14, 7:38-39, 14:16-17, Acts 1:8 and Luke 12:12
The anointing teaches us. John 14:26-27, 15:26, 1Cor 2:9-10, 1John 2:20, 27, Rev 3:18.
The anointing breaks satan’s hold: Is 10:27, 58:6,7, Zech 4:6 and 1 John 4:4.
It makes you glad and joyous. It is not used while mourning. 2 Sam 12:15-20, Dan 10:3, Matt 6:16-18, While operating without the anointing this is the chastisement of the Lord. When you are following the anointing there is joy in every situation. The anointing is transferable. It can be transferred one to another for healing with the laying on of hands. Mark 5:25-34, Matt 14:34-36, Luke 6:17-19, Acts 19:11-12
Even anointing oil is used for healing. One of the main ingredients is Myrrh. It is bitter and used as a narcotic drug, a pain killer. The taste is bitter and the substance astringent, acting as an antiseptic and a stimulant. It deadens pain. So what do you think the anointing is going to do with you? Deaden pain! Physically, emotionally, and spiritually. God wants you to have it. One must learn to receive.
To end, the anointing gets stronger as you do the following which we teach as our Basic Foundation of the True Christian: Word, Prayer, Fasting and Giving.
Continue to give, continue to receive. God is the Giver.
God bless you,
