Good Saturday Morning! 4/10/21

1Ch 16:29 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
2Ch 20:21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psa 27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORDall the days of my life, to behold the beauty of theLORD, and to enquire in his temple.
Psa 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
Psa 90:17 And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Psa 96:9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
Isa 28:5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto theresidue of his people,
Isa 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, theplanting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
God meant for you to enjoy your life. He loves it when you are rested, fulfilled, happy, grateful and thankful. There is nothing worse than an ungrateful child, amen? He wants you to smile when He gives you gifts and your first gift today was in your waking up. Baruch Atah Hashem Adonai! Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord!
Life may seem like one big contest but no matter what hoops you may have to jump through, you ALREADY won. Go through those hoops with confidence in Christ. No one is exempt from them, Jesus knew that when He died on the Cross, rose again from death and gave you Victory. When the enemy looks at you and says, “Tag, you’re it!” Knock him silly with the Blood of Jesus and tell him, “It’s NEVER your turn.”
Amen.
Jas 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Jas 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
James 1:12-18
GOD REWARDS, NOT TEMPTS
The word temptation may stand for trial and testing, without implying that there is any necessary impulse toward evil; or it may stand for the direct impulse of the evil one. Here, however, it is used in this latter sense. But of whatever kind the temptation is, whether upward or downward, whether of pain and sorrow at the permission of God, or of direct solicitation to evil at the suggestion of Satan, those who refuse to swerve from their high quest of nobility attain to higher levels of life. In the words of this paragraph, they receive the crown of life “here” and hereafter.
Notice the genealogy of sin, Jas 1:15. Lust is the parent of sin, and sin when matured is the parent of death. How different to the blackness of this dark picture is the light and glory of our Father’s home and realm! All the good things of our lives are from His good hand. He is not fickle and changeable. Even our sin cannot make Him turn away. His sun still shines on the evil and the good, and His rain descends on the just and the unjust. See Mat 5:45. We are His children; let us be sweet to the taste as the grapes of Eschol!
