SHINING BRIGHTLY FOR THE LORD.

Shining brightly for the Lord.

Rev Essie Scott
Pittsburgh, Pa.
Good Morning Saints and if you aren’t one, consider becoming one so that you can live free, covered by the Redemptive Blood of Jesus. Amen.
I pray that your day is going well and blessed and if it doesn’t seem to be Bless it yourself! You have the Most High God within you. He gave His Power to you to use so use it! Hallelujah!
Today I will be speaking on “Shining brightly for the Lord.” It is something that we all should be doing especially for these last days. So grab your pen and notebook or tablet, your drink and your snack and sit back and listen, and I will discuss this right after our Invocation of God’s Ruach HaKodesh, His Holy Spirit.
INVOCATION.
{SERMON}
Ladies and gentlemen, you hear preachers preach on the end of time as we know it with Jesus coming down with a Shout of Victory and all eyes shall see Him, what a wonderful time that will be. I am ready how about you? Turn your Swords to Daniel Chapter 12. Daniel tells us a little more about the end times and it reads like this:
Dan 12:1  And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Dan 12:2  And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Dan 12:3  And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Dan 12:4  But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
The first scripture speaks of Michael the Archangel who is known for battle. Out of Guardian, Messenger and Warring Angels, he is considered a warring angel. Michael is mentioned in the Word as an Angel who does battle for the Saints. In the Angelic Realm there are varying hierarchy positions. Michael, called the Archangel, doesn’t get any higher. When I was in the Marine Corps, we called them 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 star Generals. Michael is a fiver. In the Marines even if you forgot to salute one or neglected to see him or her walking down the sidewalk, you would get cut down a rank or two. Generals are no joke and they didn’t get there by being cute. They have battle scars. The Crypts and Bloods have nothing on the battle scars of Spiritual and Natural Generals. Every time someone in one of these modern gangs shoot someone or rape or rob someone, and they get scarred, shot or scratched somehow during the process, that is called their ‘badge.’ The more badges, the higher up you go in the gang. They have nothing on Michael.
Verse 1 calls him the Great Prince that stands for the children of God’s people in times of trouble. Notice also that the Bible calls this hindering spirit, the Prince of Persia in Dan 10:13  “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.” This is why you should wait on God when you are praying for something. Daniel in this instance waited 21 days for his answer to be delivered which was on it’s way the first day he prayed. You could be asking God for something on the 20 of October 2019 and it is still on it’s way to you today, 3 months later. Don’t give up. God is not mad at you. He told you to ask in Jeremiah 33:3 and He meant it. God is not a man that He should lie.
The term/title “Prince” is also used in Daniel 10:20:
Dan 10:20  Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
This is in reference to demonic powers that rule above various areas in the heavenlies. Greece and Persia were battling one another but eventually one of their most effective generals, Alexander the Great conquered the lands. Wars are always started in the spiritual realm. Daniel realized this after a Messenger Angel came to him in Chapter 10 verses 8-14 to tell him of the spiritual battle that Archangel Michael had to help him with. God gave us His Word so that we would know this as well. This is why I tell people to study to learn all that God has for them so that they can use these examples in their own lives and gain victory over the enemy. YOUR battles begin in the spiritual and vibrate down, or should I say into the natural realm. This is the perfect reason to stay prayed up. You don’t know what kind of battle is going on around you that you cannot see with your natural eye. Every area of the world is under a siege of spiritual battles. The enemy doesn’t want you to know the truth, he doesn’t want you to know how to remedy situations. he wants you to think that some Christians “over-spiritualize” things and that we are out of our minds. Here’s one for all the Christian comedians out there: John 4:24 “‘God is a Spirit,’ and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” Sooooo, we over emphasize spirituality huh? Ok. One person hears another say that we over-spiritualize things, and they think it’s funny then they begin to use it, and they may get a laugh out of someone else and they use it, and so on and so on and so on. And the transgression continues on down the line. Wait, let’s look at the word transgression:
transgression | transˈɡreSHən, tranzˈɡreSHən |
noun
an act that goes against a law, rule, or code of conduct; an offense: I’ll be keeping an eye out for further transgressions | her transgression of etiquette.
We need to pray for God to break through the controlling demonic forces that plague us just as those demonic princes which ruled over Persia and Greece. Prayer is essential. satan is not all that he is cracked up to be. he has a lot of isms and schisms in his house. It is definitely a house divided that’s for sure. Just think, there are people who are faithful to satan, they are actually faithful to a House Divided. {Right.} Rivalry and internal problems plague his house as different princes vie for power. And it is the same for all those who serve him. You can tell when someone’s house is divided no matter how hard they try to hide it because those rivaling spirits begin to battle in the natural over that household and the kids start acting up or the wife or husband starts acting up and sometimes the cat or the dog! Amen? Things of old begin to show up from years past and affect all of the relationships in the house. satan is great for bringing up old conversations that cut like a knife and if you don’t watch yourself you will begin to duplicate them and cut other people. satan shoots the gun and we carry the bullets. Also, animals can harbor spirits. Here are some scriptures you can write down that pertain to this subject and this is not to scare animal owners as I have one as well:
Matt 8:31  So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine. Mat 8:32  And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
Mar 5:11  Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. Mar 5:12  And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. Mar 5:13  And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
Luk 8:32  And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them. Luk 8:33  Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.
Verse 1 goes on to tell us that God’s people will be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. I have a question for you: Is your name written in the book? I speak of God’s Holy Book that only He can open. The wicked are despised. See, people are trying to sugarcoat the gospel now a day saying that almost anyone can get into Heaven when Jesus Himself said that He is the only way. Is your name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life? Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge but not the Tree of Life, only Jesus can give life. This is why they were put out of the Garden because if they would have eaten from the Tree of Life, they would have lived forever in sin. Jesus came purposely to become sin so that He could once and forever get rid of it for us so that we can live Eternally. That’s good enough for me. He has an everlasting life for you. Are you ready to live my friend?! Accept Him in your heart and be ready for a whole new experience. It is like nothing that you’ve ever experienced before. Healing in all areas begins when you accept Jesus into your heart. That’s Heart: Mind, Will and Emotions. I’ve even heard preachers say that-that was wrong, accepting Jesus into your heart. Well, where else are you going to accept Him especially if the Word says that you will be a ‘new man’ with a ‘new consciousness’ a ‘new mind.’ Old things are passed away and all things are made new. You’ll stop dancing on pool tables and shooting needles into your arm, getting drunk and vomiting Friday’s pay right down the toilet, and laying in bed with anyone who comes along when you accept Jesus. You’ll respect yourself more. You’ll be washed and made clean and all that you’ll want to share is the Word, with others. Your spiritual eyes will see it and your natural eyes will thank you.
Verse 2 says that many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt. I chose everlasting life when I was a little girl. Even little children know the difference. I’ve had my struggles in life but Jesus made it all worthwhile. What a wonderful time that will be for those who passed while loving the Lord. They will instantly rise to everlasting life. Woa to those who refused the Son. The bible says that they will arise to everlasting shame and contempt and that’s a long time. That means that they will be ashamed of themselves for disregarding God’s call and considering their flesh first. These are the disobedient and disrespectful, the trespassers, if you will. They have committed an offense against God by not accepting His Son or not taking their salvation seriously and giving their soul back to the devil for fame and fortune. Backsliding to the umph degree! Denouncing God instead of denouncing evil.
Verse 3 is the main point that I want to make in this message. Dan 12:3  And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
How many times have you heard me say that I want to plant seeds for God’s Kingdom in any way and  every way that I can? That is my M.O., my Mode of Operandi. God takes care of me in one way or another. The Lord is my Shepherd. All I want to do is tell others about Jesus because someone told me about Him and I am glad. I am in the networking business, are you in the networking business? Wait! Where did your mind go? No, I am not telling anyone about my make-up business, lol, I mean telling folks about our Savior. That makes you a networker.
Let’s take a look at the word network ok?
network | ˈnetˌwərk |
noun
1. a group or system of interconnected people or things: a trade network.
2. a group of people who exchange information, contacts, and experience
3. a group of broadcasting stations (that’s us,) that connect for the simultaneous broadcast of a program
4. a system of connected electrical conductors. (We are filled with the electrifying energy of God’s Holy Spirit and we must share.)
Are you in that list?
The Bible says that we (the wise ones who accepted Jesus) will shine as the brightness of the firmament. That’s really really bright folks! We will be more radiant than daylight and the sun! Can you imagine that? Oh how beautiful we will be. And notice what is meant by the word ‘wise.’ Those who turn many to righteousness will be as bright as the stars for ever and ever. Your light will turn from ‘little’ to ‘ginormous!’
🎶This huge light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine!🎶
Many people have died and come back to life and the first thing that they mention is the bright light in a tunnel as they traveled through from this existence to the spiritual. See? There goes that word ‘spiritual’ again. It has been described as the whitest white the brightest bright. This is what you and I will be just for not living our lives in vain and telling people about Jesus Christ. Good reward huh? For real! No Clorox involved, no lamp lights, no brightening serum, nothing. Just God’s pure energy. Here on Earth, people knock on your door to see if you are home, up in Heaven they won’t have any doors to knock on because they will be able to see your Light from Earth to the Eternal. 🔥
Gone will be the days of using the term “darkening people’s doorsteps” because the darkeners will be forever in shame and contempt and those of Faith will radiate in and with the Glory of God.
When God made the Earth He stated in Genesis that He was Creating ‘firmament.’ People don’t realize that firmament is only a ‘portion’ of His Power. The Sun is not the brightest bright and the clouds are not His whitest white. Let’s not put Him in a box. Just because He made our skies blue doesn’t mean that is the only blue that He has in Heaven! As they say, “You ain’t seen nothin’ yet!”
We are to live radiant lives. Be like stars now even before we hit the heavenlies. Job 11:17 states: Job 11:17  And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday; thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.
And check this out, write it down: 2Co 3:17  Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 2Co 3:18  But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Are you wise? Ecclesiastes tells us about a wise man: Ecc 8:1  Who is as the wise man? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.
A wise person’s face should not just shine in Heaven but here on Earth as well, amen? The Word says that in order to make friends one must first show himself to be friendly.  Pro 18:24  A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Start making your squad! Find people with like minds and talk about the Love of Jesus with them and spread it to others.
Let your light shine. Are you saved?
If you are not just repeat the Romans Road after me: Say “Jesus, I repent of my sins, I am so sorry Lord. I believe that you died on the cross and rose 3 days later from the dead, just for me and I accept what you have done, I accept you as my Savior. Thank you Jesus, amen.” Now go find a bible believing, Holy Ghost filled church and learn of Him, it’s never too late. Your new life starts now. All old things are gone away. God throws them as far as the East if from the West. Now….go live, laugh and love!
Thank you for coming on today and I pray that your week goes by Victoriously!
Num 6:24  The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
Num 6:25  The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
Num 6:26  The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Amen
