A friend that I have known for quite a while on Facebook brought up the subject of God’s name and said that they wish that Christians would stop arguing over His name and just be blessed and call whichever one ‘works’ for you. I just wanted to post my response on the subject as I have almost lost friends over the subject. It’s not magical folks, He just told us to call on Him….period. If it bothers you, do like the sinning women did and the woman whose daughter was sick, and just call Him “Lord” or “Master” it works~!! She called Him “Lord” and got saved and free and her daughter got healed!

Matthew 15:27-28

27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.

28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Esther R. Scott Right. I’ve been going through that these past few years as well. His Hebrew name is Yeshua/Yehushua but even our own Apostle Paul translated it and called Him by His Greek name, Ioeusus, hence, Heysus, hence…Jesus. They are trying to say that Heysus is another name for Zeus. I feel this way, The Lord knows who we mean when we call on Him. Both names work for me and have delivered me of many afflictions and buffetings.
