It’s okay to smile! 🙂

It occurred to me just now how Christians have tossed Luke 6:38 out the window. Jesus said, Luke 6:38  “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

Most of my life I didn’t really like being with people or around people. God lifted me up and taught me a lesson about communicating with His “creation”. I now find myself not only preaching His Word, (I absolutely hated public speaking), but I am also in a program that blesses people so much and so fast that they sometimes can’t believe it. (Gotta give my Karatbars family some props I really love them.) I used to stay by myself so-to-speak and ended up…by myself. Being by yourself is not a good place to be. It’s lonely and you have too much time on your hands unless you are anointed like Elijah was and God sends you to a cavern. God even made a mate for His first human creation. (Adam and Woman.) He did it for a reason.

The Law of Reciprocity is a blessing if you learn how to work it. (Luke 6:38). It wasn’t made by Einstein, Newton, etc., it was made by the Creator of all things and it works. When someone treats you nice or says something nice to or about you, return the favor. “As a man thinketh, so is he.” I recently got criticized for it and felt bad for a while but then I took it as a ‘hidden’ compliment. Also watch what happens when you give to others…..it AUTOMATICALLY comes back. My son did something when he was younger. His dad and I kept that child in bikes. He would feel bad for little boys who either didn’t have a bike or needed a new one so he’d give his bike away with pride. And guess what? He kept getting bikes back! New ones! Nice ones. We didn’t do it on purpose, it just happened that way. He joked, “Mom! I try to give my bikes away but they just keep coming!” I laughed.

That’s it folks! When you give and treat people nice, it comes back to you in some way, somehow. I gave, and now I am communicating with people from all around the world. Not just in my ministry but in my other business as well. I am no longer blindly sitting behind a screen, clicking, hoping that something interesting would happen. I am talking to people from the Philippines, Africa, Asia, Germany, Switzerland, Jamaica, Holland, Canada, various countries and states and I love it. When I lay my head down at night, I go to sleep with a smile. When I wake up, I ask God to bless all of my friends, family, ministry, neighbors, country, countries and new friends. We have to find our purpose. Like I’ve learned from an intelligent and experienced man recently, “what is your ‘why’?” Why are you doing what you do?

When I used to do commercials, my friend Jeff told me an awesome tip. Jeff said, “When you sing into the microphone, smile, people can hear it.” So I smiled! When he’d run the recording back, it sounded better! So I am telling you today, when you talk to others or pass someone either in real time or online….Smile! They can “hear” it. They will most likely, in some way…..return it.
