Good last Monday of March 2014~

Have a blessed day today! 

I know that I will. I went to my high school friends church last night and we had a ball. The singers were good and the band that she sings in was awesome! It was funny how they took Leonard Skinnards “Sweet Home Alabama” and changed it into a Christian song called “Sweet Home up in Heaven”! I immediately jumped up and so did my daughter! We both happily said, “Heyyyyy!” and start clapping. I used to sing rock years ago as the lead singer of a Country Rock group (Sundown) which was actually the best in our county and always in the local paper, and as soon as I heard it I knew that they had changed the words to glorify the Lord. It was awesome! (Hey, I’m getting old I am not dead!) I say “Take our music back from the world and jam for the Lord.” God created music, kicked satan out of Heaven who used to be the Choir Director there, and satan tried to steal it down here. Not good. I pray that we take it ALL back.  (Please see Ezekiel 28:13-14)

They sang oldies like “Old Rugged Cross” and songs that the Gaithers would sing. Down home, oldies that just about everybody knows. You couldn’t help but to clap and sing with them. I was so proud of Eva. She walked up behind me and hugged me. I shook her off and said, “No let me loose! I need to hug you from the front! I am soooo proud of you!” Everybody laughed. The name of the program was, “Make a joyful noise for the Lord” and THAT they did. 

I pray that your day is chock-filled with joy and happiness. Don’t let ANYTHING get you down, especially judging from others…it steals your confidence. Just praise the Lord. And as my one friend Rev. Cheryl Jones-Ross says, “Ride it till the wheels fall off!!!!”
