Today, also my sons birthday, is the day that New Birth online was born! ย June 26th, 2003. We’ve changed the name since and opened and closed a few times but we surely outlasted the enemies that were sent our way. satan didn’t want to see this day but God did. Guess who wins? We’ve had some highs and lows but we maintained our dignity and held on.ย

As the owner and founder, I’ve made a LOT of mistakes and for that, I ask you all to forgive me if I’ve ever hurt you in any way. My attitude wasn’t the greatest at all times and I had a hard time trying to fight the Trolls but God helped me through. ย We’ve lost a lot of members,ย and some now very famous peopleย due to the online Trolls that I didn’t know how to handle then but God is a God of restoration. He’s doing it right now. ย Isn’t He a great God?
The strong ones stayed or came back. That’s what’s important. To have a good and holy cloud of witnesses is detrimental to having a strong prayer group. I’ve since learned that numbers don’t count, strength in Jesus does. I believe it was Gideon, correct me if I’m wrong, who had 600 men for an army but 300 of them turned around and went home because they were weak. Sometimes you have to take the best that God gives you to win the war. I believe the ones who lapped the water stayed and the ones who kneeled had to go. Those who lapped were smart enough to dip their hands in the water and lap standing up being alert of the oncoming enemies. Those who kneeled to drink had to ‘bow’ their heads to drink, not knowing what was coming upon them. They are the ones who were sent home. They weren’t ‘smart’ enough, ‘crafty’ enough to win the war. I don’t mean crafty as a negative but as a positive.ย
Judges 7:4-8
4ย And the Lord said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go.
5ย So he brought down the people unto the water: and the Lord said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink.
6ย And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water.
7ย And the Lord said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place.
8ย So the people took victuals in their hand, and their trumpets: and he sent all the rest of Israel every man unto his tent, and retained those three hundred men: and the host of Midian was beneath him in the valley.
I personally thank all of you who kept your heads up as you refreshened yourselves. In doing so, you helped me to keep my head up as well. If you all could see how each of you emailed me privately at my hardest times and didn’t even know that you were doing it, that God was using you. Thanks for keeping New Birth alive.ย
