Fwd: Celebrate Jerusalem Day – Become a Guardian of Jerusalem!

Subscribe!

Today is Jerusalem Day! As a result of the miraculous Six Day War in 1967, the city of Jerusalem was reunited as the capital of Israel.

The eternal connection between Jerusalem and the Jewish people is unbreakable. In biblical times, Jerusalem was established as Israel’s capital by King David. Ever since, there has been a Jewish presence in the city whenever possible.

The Jewish connection to Jerusalem has been overtly proclaimed throughout the centuries when Jews worldwide declare “Next Year in Jerusalem”. And only Israel can guarantee open access to Jerusalem’s holy sites for all peoples.

We’ve been running an amazing campaign to “Keep Jerusalem United”. With over 100,000 signatures on the Jerusalem Declaration, we’re well on our way to our goal of 250,000 signatures to be presented to Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Just today we hung a huge “Keep Jerusalem United” banner on the walls of Jerusalem’s old city, along with the names of those who have signed the Jerusalem Declaration in support of a united Jerusalem.

Right now, on Jerusalem Day 2013, would be a great time to join our efforts and become a ‘Guardian of Jerusalem’. You can receive a personalized certificate and special gift from Jerusalem.
