2nd verse same as the first!

When I was younger, about 5 years old, my mom who passes when I was 8 years old, used to always sing to me and I’d sing with her. We’d sit at the kitchen table and we’d listen to her little white radio where KDKA Radio would play Tom Jones and the like, and we’d have a sing fest. I keep singing this song even today. I just wanted to post this today in hopes to bring back memories to some of you readers. Do you remember this song?

I’m ‘Enery the Eighth, I am,
‘Enery the Eighth I am, I am!
I got married to the widow next door,
She’s been married seven times before
And every one was an ‘Enery
She wouldn’t have a Willie nor a Sam
I’m her eighth old man named ‘Enery
‘Enery the Eighth, I am!

Second verse, same as the first! (repeat lyrics.)

Isn’t that awesome? I miss my mom, Hazel Marie Carroll. My 2nd mom actually. She had me from 2 months old to 8 years old. Here’s some info about the song and have a great day. Here’s pics of both.
