Good Facebook Advice!

How to save your phone battery: Click on “Home” top right of FB page. On the left of that page, go to “Close Friends”. Click on each friend separately and if they are not the closest of friends, change them to “Acquaintances”. Acq’s won’t use up all of your phone battery if you are set to receive “notifications.”

Simply put: If they usually do not contact you, they aren’t “Close Friends”. Why constantly plug your Cell Phone in to receive notifications from those who could care less?

Gettin’ ‘er done!

May 24, 2013
Dear Essie,
Thank you for contacting me about the Caregivers Expansion and Improvement Act of 2013 (S. 851). I appreciate hearing from you.
As you may know, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) introduced S. 851 on April 25, 2013. Among its provisions, this measure would extend to all veterans with a serious service-connected injury the eligibility to participate in the Department of Veterans Affairs program of comprehensive assistance to family caregivers. I understand your views about this measure and value your input. S. 851 is currently pending before the Senate Committee on Veterans Affairs. While I am not a member of this panel, please be assured that I will keep your thoughts in mind as this measure progresses through the legislative process.
Thank you again for your correspondence. Please do not hesitate to contact me in the future if I can be of assistance.
Sincerely,

Pat Toomey
U.S. Senator, Pennsylvania
