God can change us so drastically that we will not realize the dynamics of the change. There are so many people who asked Jesus to step into their lives and He did. God is not a man that He should lie. If God says that He is going to help us, believe that He will. Know this, that it will definitely be on His timing and not ours. Excercise patience. It is an awesome virtue. Most of us cannot see an oncoming car because our minds are so taken away with the cares of this life. We cannot see oncoming troubles or hindrances in our spiritual life….God can. Trust Him. Let Him be your eyes and your Guide.
Some of us try to go back and save our family and friends because we are so blessed. Many have been brought low attempting to do so. Have you ever been blessed so much that you want to tell the world about it but there is no one who really cares to share your Joy? God did that for you. It’s personal, enjoy your blessings. What He does for you is for you. Be careful who you let into your personal circle, Jesus did.
Matthew 13:17 and Luke 10:24
“For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.” (Stay in the circle.)
We cannot walk the fence once accepting Jesus. You will either fall on the right side of the fence or the wrong side. If you attempt to help others to come to the place that God brought you, it can be a stumblingblock or a place of backsliding if you are not careful, strong, or mature enough to handle this task. Stay in the Word for strength. Let Jesus do the hard work. God brings us to higher heights and brighter, cleaner living. God tells us to “come out from among them and be ye separate.” Amos 3:3 says, “Can two walk together except they be agreed?” Oil and water don’t mix. We cannot concur with the enemy.
concur |kənˈkər|verb ( concurs, concurring , concurred ) [ no obj. ]1 be of the same opinion; agree: the authors concurred with the majority |they concurred in the creation of the disciplinary procedures | “That’s right,” the chairman concurred.• (concur with) agree with (a decision, opinion, or finding): we strongly concur with this recommendation.
The best thing that we can do for anyone whether friend or foe is to pray for them. Some are so emblazened in their battles that they cannot find it as easy as you did to transform their lives. They have to have the same desire for God that you did when you got saved. The bible tells us that the enemy has some people blinded. You can see their misfortunes and bad decisions but they cannot. Like a person addicted to crack cocaine or crystal meth, their brains are no longer making rational decisions that they once may have made. The addiction changes their entire thought pattern. Their brain is now misfiring. The only thing that can heal them permanently is the acceptance of Jesus Christ. We cannot save these people by our own efforts. Give it to the Lord. There is nothing worse than a misfiring brain. A disgruntled person opens fire on a group of children at the restaurant where their boss works…a misfired brain. A child kills their parents or grandparents for their social security check….a misfired brain. Trust that Jesus will handle your hard times for you. Stay in the washing of the Word and the renewal of your mind. Going back to the old way of the world will be like taking a beautiful shower and putting dirty, smelly clothes back on. Stay clean, inside and out.

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But ye have not so learned Christ; 21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. 26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil. 28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. 29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. 12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
If you have ever prayed and asked God for favor in a certain situation, know this, He heard you. In the scripture above Daniel had been praying to the Lord and fasting as well. After fasting and praying, Daniel saw a vision. An angel came to him in his vision and reassured him that “…from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself (fast) before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.”
Fasting is important and can bring answers to our requests quicker because we “chasten” ourselves before the Lord. Let’s take a look at the word “chasten”:
chasten |ˈCHāsən|verb [ with obj. ] (usu. be chastened)(of a reproof or misfortune) have a restraining or moderating effect on: the director was somewhat chastened by his recent flops | (as adj. chastening) : a chastening experience.• archaic (esp. of God) discipline; punish.DERIVATIVESchastener |ˈCHās(ə)nər|nounORIGIN early 16th cent.: from an obsolete verb chaste, from Old Frenchchastier, from Latin castigare ‘castigate,‘ from castus ‘morally pure, chaste.‘
Chastening yourself is to not please self, the flesh. It is not beating one’s flesh to a pulp as was in the movie, “Angels and Demons”. The best way to do that is to fast from pleasures. Fasting can be the temporary stopping of the enjoyment of food, sweets, the internet, television, telephone calls, meats, liquids, friends, etc. The enemy wants us to focus on ourselves. What you focus on magnifies. With a good heart-felt fast one can receive visions from Heaven.
In this case, the angel blesses Daniel and tells him that it may have taken 21 days for him to bring the answer to Daniel but he made it nonetheless. For 21 days Daniel’s angel fought who is called, “The Prince of Persia” which is interpreted “demon.” When looking at 1st Thessalonians 2:18 we see that Paul was hindered by the same. This time it was satan himself. And yes, the Evil One doesn’t want you to have any blessings either. he knows where you are going…..Heaven. And he knows where he is going also…..Hell. Jealousy is as cruel as the grave. (Songs 8:6)
There are spirits in high places. There are spirits over counties, countries, cities, nations. When you pray, sometimes it takes a moment for you to receive the answer because your angels are fighting in your honor as the Blessed Child of God that you are. You are grafted in, accepted in the “Family of God” through Jesus Christ, our Older Brother/Lord/Saviour. You are Royalty.
Know this, there may be “princes” over areas and cities but the Chief Prince, Michael, halleluah is there to overcome them all. Michael came to help Daniel’s angel and the battle was won, Daniel got his answer and the Lord is praised. Don’t let the enemy make you think that your prayer hasn’t been heard. God is not deaf, He heard you. Be strong and of good courage. Your answer is coming……
………You won already at the Cross.
