A thought came to me the other day and I want to see how you all feel about it. Years ago, there was a video out about an owl sitting in the top of a barn while Spanish Christian music was being played. When the camera swung up to see the owl he was moving, moving to the beat of the music and he looked so cute. Owls are known to be wise (for some reason,) we don’t know, we’re not really sure. The thought came to me that there are human beings who move the same way when they hear the beat drop on music. Some people move when they hear music and some people just don’t move at all. It makes you wonder what kind of heart they have. David, King David played the harp, Moses’s sister Miriam played the tambourine and so forth and so forth and so forth. They say that music soothes the savage beast. Music soothes the messes that we may have gone through before we heard the song being played. Could it be that those who move to music are “wiser”, get the pun? Could it be that we have something in common with the wise old owl?
