Good Friday morning November 19, 2021

God gave us this day to enjoy and to help others as much as we can. This is why he tells us in the Bible to persevere and have patience, and to be “salted up” so that the strong ones can help those who are weak. When Jesus was born in a manger they put salt on his skin and wrapped him in strips of cloth hence the words “swaddling clothes.” This custom allows babies to be strong and have thick skin to endure what life had for them. May you have a beautifully blessed “strapped and salted” day in Jesus name.
Luk 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
Luk 2:12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
Job 38:9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,
Luk 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
Luk 2:12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
