Last night as I lay in bed praying to the Lord and speaking in tongues, God’s holy language, I asked him a question. After I asked him a certain question he answered me and His voice was so soft and comforting. His first answer to me was, “I Am.” I had asked him to intervene with something that I have been going through which is actually a blessing but it is a lot-of-a-blessing. God is a God of more than enough. The second question that I asked him he said, “I will.”
When I heard his voice speaking to me I just smiled and said like a silly school girl, “That is so cool! I love you Lord!” I know He had to laugh. The bible says that God laughs.
Psa 37:12 The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth.
Psa 37:13 The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming.
Pro 1:24 Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded,
Pro 1:25 Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke,
Pro 1:26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes,
I know that my reaction sounds crazy but I just love him so much. It’s like having your beloved Father answer you when you ask him a question. You know, the father/daughter thing? Right? Men and their mothers and women and their fathers. It’s a special relationship.
It is so awesome how our Heavenly Father takes care of his children and how his voice is so comforting and tender. I was honored that he answered me like that. When God answers you make sure you thank him because he doesn’t have to but he does.
The father’s voice enveloped my soul. I rested in him. And I even slept better last night and I had great dreams. God has been working in my life through my dreams for many many years. I have notebooks upon notebooks of dreams. Some I have interpreted and some I haven’t. I am fairly good at interpreting dreams but the reason I don’t do them all the time is because some Christians will use you as a fortuneteller so-to-speak. When I see them coming to me too much to interpret their dreams I will give them a basic interpretation but I keep the rest to myself because you can’t tell everything that God shows you. Especially if you work in the prophetic realm. You just cannot tell everything. There are many things that God has shown me about people but I don’t tell them. I keep it to myself until God gives me the green light to say something to them. And he doesn’t give me the green light all of the time. The Bible says that God will tell his Prophet something before he even tells the world. You would be surprised how much we know as Prophets. You may know some who talk a lot, at least you think they talk a lot, but you would be surprised what they hold back. Sometimes they talk a lot to hold back the fact that they struggle trying to keep things to themselves that God does not want them to reveal. So be careful judging.
