TRUST IN THE LORD

Psalm 125 – Trust in the Lord.

Good Morning, Good Afternoon and/or Good Evening wherever you are. This is Rev Essie of New Birth Ministries and I am glad that you are listening today. I pray that your day is blessed and if it doesn’t seem to be going that way…..Bless it yourself! God lives in you. He gave you His Power so use it! Today the topic is “Psalm 125 – My help cometh from the Lord*.” Get your Swords, a drink and a snack, and maybe a tablet and pen and sit back and let’s delve into this subject right after we invite the Spirit of the Most High God, amen.

{PRAY}

My Help Comes from the Lord Psalm 125
The Lord Surrounds His People
Psa 125:1  A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
Psa 125:2  As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
Psa 125:3  For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
Psa 125:4  Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
Psa 125:5  As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

Thank God for His Divine Protection. Flawless, and impenetrable. I believe that it is suffice to say that lately, the world seems to be losing it’s mind amen? Where do we go for peace? Who do we trust? Is anybody in their right mind anymore? Amen? One good thing that I know is that the Bride of Christ is hanging on, maybe by a thread but God is our helper and He will see us out of all of our problems, gently and silently. The noise will come later in the after-party when we see His feet part that Eastern Sky, amen? We already won, we read the book. We humbled ourselves enough to stop and read the Word. I can’t say so much for those in the world who are still looking for a new, hidden power, a new guide, something to dazzle their ears and eyes. Something that adds money to their pockets and brings alleged “loves” into their lives. Something that will give them a message from the dead so that they will know how to handle various situations that they run into. Kinda like The Rich man and Lazarus example when the rich man died and was “in hell,” lifted up his eyes to Father Abraham and asked him to send “messengers” to his brothers so that they wouldn’t end up in hell as he had done. The Kingdom of Heaven doesn’t work that way. All that we have to do is believe, trust God, and ask Him what we should do next, to bless someone else and invite them to the love of Jesus just as we were invited. It’s called networking. As much as you may not like the terminology, you, my friend are a networker.The writer here is plainly stating that their trust is in the Lord. He is an immovable mountain. I have no idea why people would choose a dunghill and call it their ‘god’ when you can have an unmoveable mountain like Jesus the Christ who did more than prove that He was, and is the Son of God and has given us the right to use His name and Blood for protection. Do not choose the dunghill. Let’s take a look at the word, ‘dunghill.’Dunghill: a heap of dung or refuse, especially in a farmyard. Dung, the excrement of animals, manure.

What can a heap of refuse or garbage, manure, or as Dr. Oz has become bold enough to say, “poop,” do for us today? Ut-oh, I think I just heard the Pharisee’s hang up on that one. They didn’t like the word “poop” right? Yea, they judged Jesus like that too. The bible says that they were always waiting to “catch” Jesus in His words. ~ That’s all that we are getting every time we turn on our radios and televisions, phones and iPads, pure manure folks. Yet, some believe the lies of the false prophets who operate on camera for all of the world to see. Powder, make-up, filters, hair dressers, and prompts. They are puppets for the big guy, the Illuminati who tells them what to say. People have set up these false prophets by believing the ‘vision’ of the tele-graphics, and have closed their minds to the real Power Who is waiting to exist with and in them. The Word says in Psa 20:7  Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. ~ I have chosen a long time ago that I will trust in the Lord till I die. The World let me down in so many ways there are too many to list today. There is no order like the order in the family of God. When something goes wrong, we ‘reason together’ and iron it out, sometimes immediately, and sometimes it takes a while. Well, there is a better chance of iron sharpening iron within the Family of God, anyways. We are supposed to talk to one another about our concerns. When the world experiences something they take it to Judge Joe Brown or Judge Judy and tell all of the business …… and the people laugh at them all for the sake of entertainment. And let’s not mention those who are not powdered-up or made-up to the audiences’ expectation or they may not be able to speak correct English and maybe a little off-kilter in their thinking. But! Guess what? Jesus chose those who weren’t powdered-up, made-up and some, like Peter or Matthew, may have been what is today, considered as “off-kilter.” Much to the devil’s chagrin, Christians are not ‘entertainment.’ he tried it with Romans and their coliseums, Persia-Iran, Babyon-Iraq, Germany-Hitler, and now in America. They are shutting down our churches, radio stations, videos, commercials, organizations, online activities, what’s next? Wait let me rephrase that….we are ALLOWING them to shut us down. Would the early Apostles and Disciples allow anyone to shut their preaching down? I think not. Some were thrown in jail and told not to preach and when they got out, what did they do? They preached! Just trust in the Lord and nothing by any means will hurt you. God is high and lifted up and always in control. He allows us to do what we want to do but if you include Him in your plans, you can’t go wrong. No one can curse that which God has blessed. Yes, Saints are immovable. You can’t stop the enemy from trying but you will stop them or him from proceeding in your life with his mayhem and madness.

Vs 2 (Ps 125):Jerusalem is surrounded by mountains. It is a beautiful place with much fruit. The bible says you will know them by their fruit. Jerusalem has surpassed that test. To this day they are growing food, planting trees, and bringing the land back to beautification upon every awakening. Have we done so as well? How’s your fruit? What have you birthed recently for the Kingdom? Can God trust you? If God made you rich right now, would He be able to trust that you would do the right thing with your riches? And that’s not just money. If you got a lot of land for free, would you live on it quietly just to die on it, or would you do like Pittsburgh Steelers’ Mel Blount and build a children’s home or something in that order? You could grow vegetables and fruit and donate them to food banks. You could use it for a poor farmer who needs better land to raise his livestock. Or you could just sit there and complain every time the grass needed cut or the hay needed bailed. The question is, “Can God trust you?” We ask but do we give. We cry but do you hand another person a tissue? We eat but it’s never enough. (Like the manna in the wilderness with Israel.) God said that would happen in the bible you know. Evil doers will never get enough. It’s called the spirit of Greed.

The mountains in this scripture are in reference to God’s Divine Protection and His Security. When is the last time you blessed your angels in Jesus name and thanked them for helping you? I’m not talking about holding long, drawn out conversations with them because it’s the Head of the Angels that is waiting for your conversation. I am talking about just being thankful and saying a prayer or two once in a while for them. They are being used by God for your Divine Protection! We can read about the angels who came to minister to Jesus Himself.
Mat 4:11  Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
Mar 1:13  And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.
Mar 15:41  (Who also, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and ministered unto him;) and many other women which came up with him unto Jerusalem.
The Angels that came to Daniel after he prayed. Gabriel came and Michael who fought for them. Thank and trust God in all situations. It shows Him that you appreciate Him although you cannot see Him. Speaking of mountains being round about Jerusalem, there is another ‘round about’ I’d like to share with you that you as a believer need to know. You are blessed, watch this… God says in Zechariah, “Zec 2:4  And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:Zec 2:5  For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.Zec 2:6  Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.Zec 2:7  Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.”

As you can see, God is calling them out from dwelling with the daughter of Babylon (Iraq-enemies.) We cannot walk the fence. We cannot speak with our mouths that God is our Father yet we show and act like satan is. God will not protect you if you decide to follow an Anti-Christ spirit. We are to shun evil in every possible way. If it feels odd, leave it alone. If it comes too fast to you, usually it is not the answer. The devil always tries to beat God at answering our requests. he’s a deceiver. That’s another reason I like speaking in tongues. satan enjoys twisting things. Men, you ask for a good woman and satan hears it and sends a gorgeous, well-built, intelligent woman who is a drug abuser, a drunk, and finds an unusual interest in all of your friends. Ladies you ask for a handsome man with money and the devil jumps ahead of our Father and sends that fine man with long eye lashes (distraction) who won’t empty the garbage or cut the grass to save his soul and, he drinks like a fish and is a womanizer. Stick close to God, trust God. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. The operative word here is ‘wait.’ You may shed tears, lose sleep, or not know what kind of mood you are in every day but still, God says, “Hold on my child.” WWJD. Keep the mind of Christ. God wants us to trust His Divine Constancy. He is not slack in His promises. Man may promise to do something for you but God’s promises are yea and amen. He won’t let you down. We are to shun evil. There is nothing they can do that should attract our attention unless we are of the same spirit. We should once in a while check ourselves before we wreck our selves. Our Soul (Nephesh) is watching us. The decisions that you make affect your soul’s future.

Speaking of which, how’s your spirit doing? Where is it leading your soul? What “leadership spirit” are you following? No offense but if your spirit doesn’t find something wrong with Beyonce’s face morphing, Harry Styles wearing a full blown dress for the Vogue magazine cover, or Jayme Foxx saying in an interview that he waits until the Christians leave a party and THEN they REALLY have fun, something is wrong with your spiritual discernment. Really? Christians leaving the party? What happens after the Christians leave the party? Maybe we don’t want to know. I saw the interview, I’m not making this up. I also saw Queen Bee’s face turn into a man’s face when she performed. That stuff is real folks. I also saw where were all kinds of famous ‘worldly’ people at a big party where they make a cake that looks like a woman’s dead body and they eat various parts of the cake. It’s called “Spirit-cooking.” Look it up. You’d be surprised of your favorite stars are eating dead bodies at parties. Madonna, Lady Gaga, and many more. This world is sick! And our kids are dancing to their music, applying their perfume on their own bodies, and we don’t say anything because we don’t want our children to feel odd or left out with the other kids. And get this one….they may get MAD at us. (Right.)

Notice that verse 3 tells us that the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous. Is that telling us that nothing that the wicked can do would affect us or what? A better known quote: “No weapon formed against us shall prosper. All that rises up against us shall fall.” The second half of that scripture is simply telling us that if we fear or bow down to wickedness we WILL fall into iniquity. So, just like the little man behind the curtains in the Wizard of Oz, pay no attention to him. Never feel left out when the world is doing it’s, or their, ‘stuff.’ I’ve even worked at jobs that had pizza parties in the back of the building and didn’t invite me because I am a Christian. They left me working at my desk while they ate. I didn’t care. It was a bit strange but I got over it. Most likely, they didn’t pray over the food anyway. Touch not uncleanness. If you know that something is unclean and you mix yourself up in it anyway, God will hold that against you because you… knew… better.

Verse 4 (Psalm 125)
God’s goodness is going to saturate the believer. Being a believer means that you have to be upright, live righteously and indulge in the Word at every chance. Jesus is the Word. What kind of relationship would you have if you didn’t study Jesus daily? In the movie “The Chosen” that I recently watched, (which is excellent by the way) Mary and the disciples were sitting a table watching Jesus play with the little children. They began to lovingly talk about how he was playing with the children. It was so well done. The actors did a beautiful job. Mary then tells them that-that is what they should always do, “watch Him.” How many times a day do we ‘watch Him?’ Days? Weeks? Months? Holidays? Only when we have time? If you want God’s goodness you have to be like Him, good. Good doesn’t necessarily get us into Heaven but it sure attracts God’s attention. Job, David, Samuel, Esther, Elijah, Elisha, amen? They weren’t perfect but they were good. Even Elijah didn’t finish what he was to finish for the Lord and God had to choose Elisha to finish the job. God’s promises are given to those who are upright. Right living. The Just. We cannot live anyway that we want and think that God is going to bless us. The anti-Christ is lawless. Do you know anyone who is lawless? Every child who thought that they weren’t going to pay any attention to their parents ended up, in some way in trouble and even some, limiting their lives. When you act lawless, the law sooner or later catches up with you and you spend the rest of your life regretting your actions. With every action there is a consequence. Some people trip forward in life so quickly that they don’t take the time out to consider the consequences of their actions. These are people who act upon emotion. Emotions will mess you up in a heart beat. And God forbid that they should apologize for draining the lives of others around them. It’s like the examples you see where the parents died while the child was in jail. I know someone personally right now who has a child who is in their 50’s who is still going back and forth to jail! There are just some who are repeat offenders.

Tit 3:10  A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
Tit 3:11  Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
Subverted: undermine the power and authority of (an established system or institution) They are operating in what is called an “undermining spirit.”
Undermine: erode the base or foundation of (a rock formation) AND WHO IS THE ‘ROCK’? JESUS! They undermine the laws of Jesus Christ!!!!!! And don’t think that they are going to respect you. satan and the children of Belial respect absolutely NOTHING!
People also sometimes get into what is called entitlement. People sometimes think that they are actually entitled to a thing. We are to trust in the Lord and wait upon His goodness and enjoy it. We are not to ever feel that we are entitled to it. God’s Grace and Mercy are not to be abused. We are not entitled to it. The only thing we are entitled to is the Power of God via the Blood of Jesus Christ and His name ONLY. That required trust and faith in God Almighty.
Verse 5 (Psalm 125)

This scripture outright lets us know that if the evil doer turns ‘unto’ their crooked ways, (not from them,) instead of repenting to the Lord and feeling sorry for their sins, God will lead them on that very same path that they’ve chosen (this speaks of divine control.) People hate to admit it but yes, God is always in control. What makes the difference is what path you choose in life. God has rules and laws laid down for us in Deuteronomy 28 and gives us a choice, do good and live good or do bad and live bad. It’s your choice. Check Deuteronomy 28 out later and read it for yourself. There ARE some who try to make it look like they are living good and trusting God but their hearts say otherwise. They are deceivers. They deceive themselves thinking that others are following for it. Don’t pretend, just fully trust God amen?
Are you saved? Now is the time to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. With all that is going on around the world, you need a friend. Jesus can be that special friend if you allow Him into your life. He is your helper and His Holy Spirit is your Comforter.If you are not saved, just repeat the Romans Road after me: Say “Jesus, I repent of my sins, I am so sorry Lord. I believe that you died on the cross and rose 3 days later from the dead, just for me and I accept what you have done, I accept you as my Savior. Thank you Jesus, amen.” Now go find a bible believing, Holy Ghost filled church and learn of Him, it’s never too late. Your new life starts now. All old things are gone away. God throws them as far as the East if from the West. Now….go live, laugh and love!

Num 6:24  The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:Num 6:25  The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:Num 6:26  The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.Thank you for coming on today and I pray that your week goes by Victoriously! Rev Essie signing off!
