Good Morning, Good Afternoon and/or Good Evening wherever you are. This is Rev Essie of New Birth Ministries and I am glad that you are listening today. I pray that your day is blessed and if it doesn’t seem to be going that way…..Bless it yourself! God lives in you. He gave you His Power so use it! Today the topic is “All things are working for my good.” Yes Christians, it’s time that we showed the world that they can’t experience good the way that we experience good unless they do it through Jesus Christ just like we did. Cars, pools, tennis courts and mansions have nothing to do with what we are about to reveal today amen? Being blessed is not necessarily about who has the most “stuff.” Some folks learned to look good, but truthfully, Christians ARE good and truth be told, they need US around. I was so enthralled watching David Jeremiah talk about Heaven and Hell this morning. That brother broke it down. “Reveling the mysteries of Heaven.” I’m excited today! Get your Swords, a drink and a snack, and maybe a tablet and pen and sit back and I’ll be back right after this.

Heavenly Father, Baruch Hashem! We bless you Lord because you are a good Father who blesses us as well. We respect you and enjoy our relationship with you. Jesus paid the price therefore everything that we ask for, and get from you is free. Thank you Father. They may say that ‘favor isn’t fair’ but one thing we know, knowing you is favor itself and you are all that we need. When we put you first Lord everything else follows. People pay for notoriety in cliques and clubs and we are in the best family ever for free because Jesus paid the price. Jesus made us all VIP’s. HalleluJah! Thank you Jesus for being our “White Stone” our “Swipe Card” our “Door Key.” We can have anything that we ask for with the exercise of our faith coupled along with patience. We sit back Father and allow the Angels to do what they do best, serve us just like they did Jesus. We bless all who fight our battles for us in the Atmosphere and Heavenlies. Lord we lift up all prayer requests including cancer, Covid, hit and run, national troubles, financial troubles, relationship problems and ourselves personally. We also want to pray a blessing over Israel and all those grafted in. In Jesus name. Amen.

{SERMON}
Intro:

This book of Romans written from Corinth at the height of the Apostle Paul’s career is a most profound systematic theological and philosophical exposition of Christian faith. In Chapter 1 he tells us that he is not ashamed of the gospel and I am sure that there were those who needed to hear that. am sure that he said that for a reason. Apostle’s miss nothing. He is showing that the gospel is universal and there are great promises of God to believers. In verse 17 he shows us that there is righteousness of God that is revealed to us believers from ‘faith to faith.’ That is very comforting to know that we are in various stages of faith as we live and learn. No one is greater than the other and no one has certainly ‘arrived.’ He even gives us a list of those who absolutely not make it to Heaven, make sure that you are not on that list (verses 26-32.)

In Chapter 2 he specifically tells the world that God’s son Jesus will be the judge of the secrets of men so don’t think that anything that you do will be hidden from the Son. They may be hidden from the Sun (S U N) but not from God’s Son. Much to the devil’s chagrin, Jesus knows EVERYTHING.
In Chapter he shows us that no one is justified by the Law but by God’s Grace.
In the Chapters leading up to Chapter 8, he shows that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God therefore we ALL need Jesus to be righteous. The bible says that there is none righteous, no not one. If we haven’t done something wrong, Jesus wouldn’t have been needed. So when you hear someone say, “I never go through anything. Nothing bad ever happens to me” beware of that person. They are inwardly saying that they have no need for Jesus. Even Jesus got tired and angels had to come minister unto Him in
Matthew 4:11   (KJV)
11  Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Romans Chapter 8 tells us who is free from condemnation. It speaks of our spiritual life, having union with Christ, the believer’s walk and how the Law is insufficient.

Rom 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

This is clear evidence that if you live a spiritual life, humble yourself and listen to the small, still voice of God and be led by Him in all of your decisions, you are no more of the World but you are considered a ‘Son’ of God. God is your Father and will let the World know it in His vast and unimaginable ways. Jehovah Sabaoth will fight for you.

1Ki 19:11  And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:
1Ki 19:12  And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
1Ki 19:13  And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

Stand still in this lifetime once in a while, block out the noise and learn to hear God’s voice. It is something that we all have to do if we want to be successful and help others out of bondage as we are delivered of our bondages as well. Zip the lip and get your heart equipped! Amen? One day you will ‘hear’ your name but it won’t be coming through your ears. That’s when you know that God has been watching you and wants a conversation, yes, with YOU. In todays times we have become too busy, too mechanical, too Worldly to the point that some people are having a hard time resting and sleeping. They’ve trained their minds to stay up late, post online until sleep passes by and it’s harder for their minds to shut down now. Their eyes have glared at those little screens to where the indentations in their minds grow deeper and deeper, training their minds to not rest. They can’t rest because they’ve trained themselves to not rest. Every time you learn something you get little grooves in your brain. Pardon the pun but some people are just too groovy! A very good tip for us all today is simple: Turn off the cellphones at night and go to bed. I challenge you to lie there for up to an hour and talk to God. Tell Him all of your troubles and give him a ‘good’ piece of your mind. After ‘telling’ then ‘ask.’ God loves it when we ask Him things. He sends the answers it’s just that devils wrestle with our Angels trying to stop us from getting our answers which causes many people to doubt God. Doubt is your number one enemy. Get this, satan IS doubt. Lucifer ended up becoming satan over doubt. he doubted the Power of the Creator and thought that he could be like Him. Newsflash: there is only one God. One Lord, one Faith, one Baptism. When you ask God for things, stay on the alert for His answers.
Jer 33:3  Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Put on your physical ‘notification’ system like we do our phones and wait for the answer to arrive. Turn off your phones at night when you go to sleep yes, but never turn off the ones from God, amen. Never leave yourself constantly approachable. I had to beg my kids to turn off their cellphones at night. People are ignorant! They contact you at any time of the night and it’s usually for nothing. Their sleep was highly disturbed. Whatever someone has to say, they can say it to you when you wake up. The devil is the Prince of the Power of the Air. Who do you think uses half of those calls and texts to keep you from sleeping? he places thoughts in people’s minds and they attempt to transfer them to you. he loads the gun and their silly calls are the bullets. Even Jesus took rests now and then and had an apartment too! (See John 1:38)
Joh 1:38  Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?
Joh 1:39  He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.
Why did Jesus have an apartment if He didn’t rest, eat and sleep, or have company once in a while?
We get notifications of new email, posts from friends and loved ones, (and sometimes enemies.) We get notifications when the check hits our bank accounts, when someone has taken their turn on the little games that we play online. But do we train our brain to be alert when God sends us notifications?

Elijah was looking for God’s voice in the mighty wind that was so bad that it broke the mountains and rocks, but the Lord wasn’t there. You would think that a huge, powerful God who created everything would be in the strong winds right? Then he just knew that God’s voice was the earthquake and the fire but it wasn’t there either. See? Screaming and yelling and making a lot of noise like the Wizard of Oz isn’t always anointed of God. I recently put on my Social Media sites, and my Blog, “If the Spirit doesn’t yell, why do we?” A few people liked it, even my Rabbi friend. And he is a studier of the Word and a Messianic Jew. He’s seen both sides of the coin, from a Theological standpoint and a personal, inherited standpoint. Some of us are grafted in, he was “born that way” as the songstress says.

Rom 8:15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

In this World you will only have bondage and slavery. Slavery didn’t just start 400 years ago. Slavery has been around since the beginning of sin. Cain became a slave to the devil since he killed his innocent brother Abel over jealousy. Cain was a slave even before then because he was a slave to the spirit of jealousy. Obviously so or he wouldn’t have killed Abel. Possession and Oppression are slave masters. They tell YOU what to do and say and how to move every day. Jesus came to set men free. Possession and oppression bring on and are brought on by fear. Fear is a slave master. Fear keeps you in bondage. It causes limitations. When you accept Jesus as your savior you are free from limitations. You fly in the spirit with Him not for Him. He doesn’t need anyone to hold His hand, we do. Hold on to God’s unchanging hand. I was adopted and lived in a few different homes from the time I was 8 when my second mother passed. It was rough but God brought me through. Adopted kids are often misunderstood. Sometimes it’s not because they are hated, it takes time for those who adopted them to understand their ways and habits which most of the time gets lost in the shuffle. But when you are adopted by God Almighty! HalleluJah! He understands your ways, your habits, your thoughts your heart and your spirit. He is a good God. Feel free to call Him “Abba” which actually is Hebrew for “Father/Daddy.” He likes that. He doesn’t want you bumping your rear around on the ground. Your wings aren’t clipped! He gives you all of the torque that you need spiritually to fly!!!! Fly away!!!! IN Jesus!

Rom 8:16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

The Holy Spirit will definitely let you know that you are God’s (belongings.) He will walk with you and talk with you and talk for you if every needed. The Word tells us to not worry about what we are going to say when we are asked questions because the Holy Spirit will answer for us. Have no fear my friend. Stay prayed up and He will speak for you. People will know that you belong to God because of the way that you carry yourself. The way that you talk will reveal Him. Clean up your thought patterns your vocabulary, your posts online. Let people know that you are a Child of the Most High. People are watching. If you look and talk like the World, why would they come to Jesus when they can do what they do without Him? Do you rep the Kingdom? Don’t get me wrong, you can have fun and enjoy life but just don’t present a sketchy, sparse, lackluster personality to others.

Rom 8:17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Jesus is so kind of a Man/God that He is actually sharing His Kingdom and Throne with us. Without God’s sweet Grace most of us would never get a chance to see the Throne Room or God’s face. Thank Him for His Grace. Suffer with your brother. The Word tells us to “count it all joy” and that we should do.

Jas 1:2  My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Jas 1:3  Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Jas 1:4  But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Rom 8:18  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

This scripture plainly tells us that all of the suffering that we could possibly do down here can not even partially add up two the Glory that God has waiting for us in Heaven. So what ever you are experiencing down here, wipe your eyes, put your chin up, stand firm and have great courage because what you are about to experience over it all will blow your socks off. Or sandals I think I should say. The Angels of God go around all day singing “Holy Holy Holy.” I believe that a lot of ups are going to go around in Heaven saying, “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.” You just wait and see. It is going to be a blast. Some of you may even be shocked at how easy it could have been to just have patience and put up with the little teases and taunts that you received down here. Noisy neighbors, cheatin’ mates, and evil bosses ain’t gut nothin’ on Heaven!

Rom 8:19  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

There’s a song we used to sing in praise and worship that says, “Rejoice in the Lord always again I say rejoice!” Here are some rejoice scriptures for you so that you can sing them your self or read them daily while waiting on the manifestation of the sons of God.

Deu 26:11  And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you. 1Ch 16:10  Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Psa 32:11  Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
Psa 33:1  Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
Psa 35:9  And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
Isa 29:19  The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. Php 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

1 John 3:2  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Rom 8:20  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

We are thrown into the futility of a war between satan and his Maker. satan chose this battle and because of man’s sin we have to wait it out to see God again. Adam and Eve walked with God in the cool of the day. We can walk with Him now as well but it is much different than then. satan took over the atmosphere above us and battles every blessing that God sends down to us. But the word says that those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength and mount up as wings as Eagles. They will run and not be weary and walk and not faint. Know that this is true.

Rom 8:21  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Christ is our liberator. He has given us spiritual liberty from the spiritual bondage that we were in. He’s given us the Holy Spirit to help us and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.

Rom 8:22  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

I believe that the world is groaning and travailing right now. Who would question it with all that is going on right now? Jesus had power over nature! He calmed the storms, the wind and the sea. He cursed the fig tree that appeared to have fruit but didn’t and the next day it dried up. Obviously, if you think about it, the tree ‘heard’ Him. Even nature listens to Jesus. This is why we should speak to the storms and confusion in our lives in Jesus name because they ‘hear’ us. In Jesus we can change our situations. That’s why every day you see my “Good Mornings” online with a picture, the Word and the date because I am praying that all who read them will command their days and not let the days command them. You can see that on revessie.com And who would question that our weather is just outrageous lately? The tsunami’s, tornados, hurricanes, unusual almost torrential rains on one side of the earth and fire on the other side. Yet the one side cannot help the other. Too much fire, too much water. Jesus saves us from it all. And yes there may be casualties and we may lose some loved ones but know this, Adam and Eve handed satan the deed to this Earth and he will do whatever he can to break hearts and rob God of souls. Pray that all get saved because you never know the day nor the hour that would be your last time on this Earth.

Rom 8:23  And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

This scripture is self explanatory. We too groan and are miserable at times waiting for our Redeemer to come back to get us. “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.” The secret to success in this life is as I have said before, patience and prayer.

Isa 40:31  But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Rom 8:24  For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

It is sad to say but there are so many people who have taken their own lives because they thought that they didn’t have hope. I wonder how many of their families and friends knew Jesus or felt confident enough to tell them about Jesus. Let’s not get so busy living that we forget Matthew 28:18-20. It was Jesus’ Mission Statement and really should be ours as well. Go and tell. Amen.

Rom 8:25  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

If you are waiting for something that the world cannot see, and then you believe in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, then you will have the patience required to see it manifest in your life. The Spirit of God makes intercession for us and tells Him what we need and are experiencing. He goes past the devil and straight to His Partners in Heaven and the devil has NO IDEA what they are saying or are up to. Bluntly put…. The Holy Spirit surpasses the devil’s understanding. Trust Him. He knows things that we are going through that we don’t even know. It’s so important to learn to speak in tongues. The devil doesn’t know what you are thinking. Some of you may have experienced it just attempting to try to do so and you did but the devil told you that you sounded silly so you stopped. Don’t stop believing, as Journey used to sing. It wasn’t silly! Maybe to you because your intellect can’t make it out but your were speaking in tongues. Some people give up on getting to know God because of their intellect. Intellect is not spiritual. It is physical just like *Intel in a computer or phone. Get this….it’s MAN MADE. Does that explain it somewhat?

Rom 8:26  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Rom 8:27  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Rom 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

ALL THINGS ARE WORKING FOR YOUR GOOD my friend. He’s intentional. You just can’t see it with your intellect, your eyes. As I said last week, don’t be like Thomas. Don’t doubt what God says He is going to do. What He said He is going to do, He does it. Trust and obey. You will be rewarded soon.

Are you saved? Now is the time to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. With all that is going on around the world, you need a friend. Jesus can be that special friend if you allow Him into your life. He is your helper and His Holy Spirit is your Comforter.
If you are not saved, just repeat the Romans Road after me: Say “Jesus, I repent of my sins, I am so sorry Lord. I believe that you died on the cross and rose 3 days later from the dead, just for me and I accept what you have done, I accept you as my Savior. Thank you Jesus, amen.” Now go find a bible believing, Holy Ghost filled church and learn of Him, it’s never too late. Your new life starts now. All old things are gone away. God throws them as far as the East if from the West. Now….go live, laugh and love!
