Have faith in God. Mark 11:23-24

Mar 11:23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Mar 11:24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

1. God promises us an answer. Just because it doesn’t come in the form that we are expecting, it doesn’t mean that He won’t answer us. Once we rid ourselves of our selfish desires, we will get whta God wants us to have which is our best. We have to watch our words and be careful of what we ask for. Aren’t you glad that you didn’t receive everything that you previously asked for? Aren’t you glad that God had His way instead? Numbers 23:19 tells us that God is not a man that He should lie. When He says that He is going to do a thing, He does it.

2. When God uses the word “verily” or “verily verily” that is an indication that what He is about to tell you is so real and so serious that it would behoove you to pay attention. Jesus knew that we were going to suffer obstacles in our lives. He went through it all as well. But He wasn’t such a “fleshly” man that He would allow His obstacles to bother Him. He literally dissolved His mountains. God wants you to be NOT a mountain mover but a mountain dissolver. Yes in Verse 23 He tells us to move our mountains into the sea but what happens when we do that? They dissolve! They become mud! And where is mud? Underneath our feet! Amen? No mater how you feel or what you are going through put that mud, that dissolved mountain, underneath your feet. You don’t need to climb to higher elevations like Zacchaeus climbing the Sycamore Tree, you just need to exercise your Jesus Power against all of your enemies. That’s how you get over on the enemy no matter what form he appears to you.

Isa 40:4  Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

Isa 45:2  I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

Isa 49:11  And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.

Zec 4:7  Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Mat 21:21  Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Mat 21:22  And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

3. God has given us spiritual highways why are we lacking today? What are we waiting for? Magic? Magis is the appearance of manifested blessings that were actually already there. A slight of hand per se’. Miracles are the appearance of manifested blessings from the spiritual realm that were not already in place in the natural. The Word says that we can call those things that are not as thought they were. We create our existence through our speech that lifts things off of God’s Heavenly Shelf into our Natural “Carts” and we put them in our “check out lane,” no Mastercard or American Express needed. It’s free! God owns everything yet He never charges. His Son Jesus paid the price. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. And how can people hear if there is no preacher to preach? We don”t need Captain Kirks gadget to materialize what we need or want. The Word is your gadget! God’s Word is your Transporter!!! And who is “The Word?” Jesus is the Word! Jesus is your Transporter. worldly folks are stuck in one dimension simply because they don’t have Jesus in their lives to make their lives and their living “active.” They are dead mens bones, walking sepulchres. Jesus activates our Faith through the Word. Jesus IS the Word. Let’s say that you’ve ordered a Sauder office desk, or a wooden stereo or tv component. How can you put it together correctly, according to the manufacturer’s picture without the specs? You need the specs for just about anything right? Specs is short for specifications. And act of describing or identifying something precisely or of stating a precise requirement.How can we live Godly lives when we lack that of what is “required” of us to do so?

Micah 6:8 Mic 6:8  He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

3008 Requirements (Strong’s Concordance.) This is what is needed today especially with what we are experiencing today with the #Coronavirus and #COVID19, #Floyd killing, #Minneapolis and #WashingtonDC burnings. We need Zec 7:9  Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, (which is Jehovah Tsabaoth,) saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: That doesn’t mean tot do mass destruction and shoot rubber bullets at female newscasters. When you have compassion on others you are moving and dissolvingi mountains of hatred, bitterness, jealousy and strife. Jesus had compassion on people. He was so sure of who He was then that nothing moved Him in any negative way. His mind was just that….His mind….not satan’s playground like some of us today. He was more spiritual than fleshly. He did the Will of His Father. Nothing by any means moved Him. He knew that He was the answer to everyone’s needs. This is how we should feel as well. Look at yourself in the mirror and say, “I am the answer to someone’s needs.” That’s not being proudful, it’s the truth. The enemy doesn’t want you to know that. YOU are SOMEBODY’S answer! If you are a sincere, praying, God-loving person, you should know that you are the answer to the needs of others. That is a Spiritual Requirement of the Kingdom of Heaven – to be someone’s answer.

If we don’t believe for what we are praying for, how can we believe for or with anyone else?

Let me tell you, I believe. God did too much for me to not believe. I refuse to doubt. Doubt is ugly. I’ve seen what it can do to a life. Kick it to the curb my friends. Let me testify a minute or two if you don’t mind. I’ve seen our little family have water for a year, miraculously at no cost. I’ve seen my gas gauge rise at imperative times or I wouldn’t be able to get back home. And I mean, we didn’t get out of the car and no one bought us gas. Our little family brought our Great Pyranese back to life through prone-on-the-floor-holding-hands, prayer. My daughter fasted 7 days and my sons dermatitis went away exactly after her fast. God assigned me to a fun and beautiful church service and bible study in an 8-floor apartment building of a new college town. My daughter was not able to walk really good for a while and her legs started to seize up on her. She prayed and after that her legs stopped hurting. We didn’t have a turkey for Thanksgiving a few years ago and prayed and someone delivered a huge Turkey straight to our door out of the blue. This last house that God moved me to via my son was so full of furniture that I left my old furniture in my old apartment. And we had beautiful stuff too. My old Greek and Italian neighbors from my hometown had given us furniture so beautiful that I actually saw a few pieces of it on movies on tv. We had the Greek white and gold dressers and the huge Crown-like golden headboard for my bed. Gone. I remember standing in my new kitchen thinking, “It’s so pretty I wish that I had a Spice Rack” and later that day, I went upstairs and what did I find stacked up in one of the bedrooms, a beautiful 4-shelf Spice Rack. Every time I move it just gets better and better. My next move will be my final one, hopefully, my country home with plenty of privacy and fruit trees and room for a beautiful garden where I can walk or sit and talk to the Lord. God delivered me of smoking overnight in 1997. I woke up, the cigarette that I lit up that day tasted nasty on three different occasions. It tasted horrible! So I quit. Immediately, that day, 2-8-1997. And I was smoking 2 pack of Marlboro’s red pack. I had started Bible College in 1996 and was actually attending and, get this, running bible studies with a cigarette in my hand. I was smokin’ and preachin’. Lol. Some folks still do. More people than Joyce Meyer did that you know? I had faith that God was with me, had an interest in me, and was changing my life. I wanted a beautiful car for once in 2011. I had so many junkers and lemons before that. Dennis Cole and Rich Russo in Canonsburg kept my old junkers running for me for years, I mean literally years. They would show me favor and let me make payments and I did. Sometimes it took me a minute but I got them both paid off. Lol. I thank God for them. I wanted something new. God gave me a dark blue Lincoln Continental that was so beautiful that to this day, when I see it on a cop movie, I smile. It got wrecked into and I needed another vehicle. My singing friend, Bobby Shawn called one day and said, “Essie, you are not going to believe what I just found in Canonsburg at Joe and Nancy Mastrangelo’s!” I said, “What?” He said, “A gold Lincoln Continental! Just like your blue one!” I was beside myself. I knew this was God. My kids and I rented a car, rode to Canonsburg and almost got tears in our eyes. It was the same model just a different color so I bought it. I ended up selling it though, and guess what, I am believing God for my 3rd Lincoln. Don’t tell me that God doesn’t give you the desires of your heart! Our church flooded in 2004, twice during Hurricane Ivan and the one after that, a girls name I believe that following January in 2005. So, I automatically moved it online and ran our church and a bible study online with people worldwide on our study and church services. People laughed and laughed at me and called me a nut. Some even stopped speaking to me and inviting me to their churches. Something was in me. I couldn’t stop. I knew that God would sustain me. Needless to say in 2008, I was interviewed by the Observer-Reporter of Washington Pa about having an online ministry by a beautiful lady named Christie Campbell and it’s been on for us ever since. Now look! EVERYBODY is online! Lol. God has a way of diong things. They aren’t laughing at me anymore. God has a way of doing things. His way. Seriously folks, I walk and walk until I feel God’s hand on me telling me to stop. I am a jumper. I jump in the pool and pray that there is water. If there isn’t Jesus will send angels to lift me up should I dash my feet. Now don’t go out and try that at home, ok? Yes, I am a bull in a China Shop. I can’t stop. The more people laugh, the faster I go. It fuels me. The laughed at Jesus one time when someone needed a healing and He put them out of the room! I love it. I will do the same. C-ya and I wouldn’t want to be ya. I am not afraid to look crazy. As the old saying goes, “If you don’t like it, lump it.” Well……

You gotta have faith folks. See it before it arrives. See that thing. Do you remember months ago, last year sometime I preach on envisioning your blessings? See them first. There is a song on my Jazz Channel that I listen to sometimes that says, “You gotta believe.” Just believe. Kick your inhibitions to the curb and trust Jesus. We cannot walk the fence or live in fear. Fear is the absence of faith. Some of you have testimonies that would rock the entire world, new stations and all, if you would just believe and let the power of God do the work in you. You are not just sitting on your blessing, you are sitting on God’s blessing. Won’t you bless Him today? Open your spiritual eyes, your spiritual ears and most of all, open your mouth!

Are you saved?

Are you saved? Now is the time to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. With all that is going on around the world, you need a friend. Jesus can be that special friend if you allow Him into your life. He is your helper and His Holy Spirit is your Comforter.
If you are not saved, just repeat the Romans Road after me: Say “Jesus, I repent of my sins, I am so sorry Lord. I believe that you died on the cross and rose 3 days later from the dead, just for me and I accept what you have done, I accept you as my Savior. Thank you Jesus, amen.” Now go find a bible believing, Holy Ghost filled church and learn of Him, it’s never too late. Your new life starts now. All old things are gone away. God throws them as far as the East if from the West. Now….go live, laugh and love!
