Jesus, the Bread of Life.

Jesus:

Joh 6:33  For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

Joh 6:35  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Joh 6:48  I am that bread of life.

Joh 6:51  I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

I decided that I would give you a great Easter Bread recipe that I got from “Buon-A-Petit, the Italian Grandma” on You Tube, at the beginning of this writing so that you can see what Jesus meant by saying that He is the Bread of Life. I hope that you enjoy this.

Get 4 cups of flour, 2 eggs, 1/4 pound butter, 1 1/4 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 pk yeast, 1 tsp. of vanilla.

1. Heat the milk in a pan with oil/butter. Make it warm enough to melt the butter not hot.
2. 2 eggs in bowl with 1//2 cup of sugar, 1 tsp vanilla. Mix with a, or in a, mixer.
3. Slowly add milk and butter as not to cook the eggs.
4. Add 1 envelope of yeast. (Sprinkle it in the mix) and then mix again.
5. Add flour slowly.
6. Pour out on floured bowl. It will look sticky and runny. Knead till nice and soft.
7. Rest it 1 hour in a greased bowl.
8. Bless the Bread.
9. Cover it well for an hour.
10. Flour your board. Add dough. Make a roll of it and cut the roll in half twice. (4 pieces.) Make 4 balls.
11. Roll out one ball, make it long. Do all 4.
12. Braid 2 each into a braid (rope). Stick together at the ends. (Make a circle.)
13. Rest on a parchment paper covered pan. One on each pan so that it has room to rise. Cover them with plastic for 45 minutes.
14. Beat 1 egg with water a little bit. Brush over dough.
15. Cover with colorful candies.
16. Place a colored, hard-boiled egg in the middle of each one.
17. Bake 20 minutes. Keep checking for your favorite brownness. Let cool.

Notice the first direction of the recipe starts out with oil/butter, representing the anointing. Simply put, Jesus IS the anointing. Whether in Heaven, on Earth, or in us…He IS the Power. We cannot have power without Him. Some have tried and only end up in a losing battle called Witchcraft where they sooner than later, find that they are being manipulated by an unloving spirit that causes them to hate, steal and kill others. Some get into it thinking that they will have power of their own only to find out that they’ve been tricked and deceived, selling their souls for absolutely nothing. Jesus deals with the *lukewarm. Rev 3:16  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 1Sa 15:23  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Next: Eggs are a binder. Here we have a double portion. With Jesus and the Holy Spirit you have all power. The Power of the Creator rests in you. With some joy and flavor, it makes a great mix. NOW you’re cookin’!

Act 1:8  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Act 10:38  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Now when you are adding the oil (The Anointing) and the binder, (The Holy Ghost.) go slowly as not to overwhelm those who are listening or watching you. Speak to people in love, basically and simply about the Word of God.

2Co 1:12  For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

2Co 11:3  But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Now the yeast, the gift! God has given all of us a gift or even some gift(s) and He expects us to use them to bless the people of the World. Sprinkle your gifts amongst the mix and bless others and soothe souls like David did when he played his harp. Stir up the gift my friend!

2Ti 1:6  Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

2Pe 1:13  Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;

While stirring up your gifts to bless others, you now have to spread it to the ends of the Earth, from sea to shining sea, land to land, wheat fields to harvests. As Christians we use various types of gifts for the Kingdom. Some of us have spiritual knowledge, the white essence of God’s Holy Spirit that shines so brightly for the Lord that you have to put on your shades. Others have a different ways to convey God’s Word with their book knowledge of the Bible, head knowledge, or heart knowledge. *Agape Love.

Sometimes while sharing the Kingdom with others it may get a little sticky and running all over the place but slow down, exercise your gift more for God’s Glory and not your own and everything will be alright. Take your time, God’s got this. When you have it just right, people will be pliable and usable to where the Spirit of the Most High God can enter them and show them the way. They will go from ‘self-confidence’ to ‘God-confidence.’ God will give them a new heart and a new mind. Knead that Word just right my friend. Knead it until it’s pliable, just like the Potters Hands did. You are a Creator like your Father in Heaven. Just one taste of your words to some unsuspecting person can change a whole life. It won’t come from your flesh but that anointing that God gave you through His Spirit. One thing I found out throughout the years is that the Holy Spirit doesn’t need any help. He’s ok, all by Himself.

Let the Word rest in a person’s heart. Line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little. Give them time to meditate on it.

Isa 28:9  Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

Isa 28:10  For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

Isa 28:11  For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

Isa 28:12  To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this isthe refreshing: yet they would not hear.

Isa 28:13  But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Psa 19:14  Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psa 49:3  My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

Psa 104:34  My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.

Psa 119:97  MEM. O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

Psa 119:99  I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.

It is now that you can begin to pray for them, ask God to bless them and open their spiritual minds and spiritual hearts to accept Christ Jesus. After all, you have been sharing Jesus during the course of your ministering as sweet, buttered bread. Study the Word to shew thyself approved so if someone should have any questions, they can come back to you and get the proper terminology and/or description of what they are learning.

2Ti 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2Ti 2:16  But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

You don’t want to be brassy but Heavenly-Sassy! Amen? 1Co 13:1  Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. Sometimes you just have to add a little more to the mix. People graduate from spiritual level to spiritual level. No one ever really arrives, only Jesus sits that High. This is a learning experience. Some drink the bottle while others eat the meat.

Luk 12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
Heb 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Include them all in your daily prayers, no matter what level. Put them all together and through prayer and meditation, braid them together with love and keep them in your circle of life. Ecc 4:12  And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Stay in contact with believers. See to their needs. We are to see to the needs of others. Jesus didn’t come to be served but to serve.

Mat 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Mar 10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Add some more binder on top. Just let the Holy Spirit continue to use you to preach Jesus. Look not for the blessing because the blessing is within you already. Just keep plowing through not looking back as you go.

Luk 9:62  And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Keep dropping those beautifully-colored seeds along the way. The Holy Spirit will make them grow. Your “bread” should be attractive, beautiful, well-presented, timely and full of love.

Pro 11:25  The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

Isa 58:11  And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

Jer 31:12  Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.

1Co 3:6  I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

Mat 13:33  Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

When others receive from you, they can add their own anointing on it an give it their own spin as long as it is within the Will of God. Since you’ve been spreading Jesus for God, God WILL give the increase.

P.S. Don’t worry if it doesn’t turn out the way that you would like for it to be. God is an awesome corrector of mistakes. Let Him do the sifting.

Mat 13:30  Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Mat 13:39  The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
