Who’s in your camp?

We hate to admit it but even Jesus had His circle that He usually hung with. There are certain people that you will trust more than others and there are those who keep their mouths shut better than others. You can’t tell everybody everything. And we must be careful of the jealous ones or the Judas’s out there. They’ll get the entire story misconstrued and have your enemies waiting to buy you for a few digits. You’ve seen the proverbial “tell a story” example where one person tells the first person in the line something and they tell the next person and so on and so on and so on…. Jesus only had 12 “main guys” right? There was a reason. Did you know that usually, in the bible, the 13th king/ruler/leader was the bad one? Jesus had 13 but one killed himself for his blunder against the King and had to be replaced therefore, once again ….12.

The Apostles that are mentioned in the Bible as in Matthew Chapter 10:

Mat 10:1  And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Mat 10:2  Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;

Mat 10:3  Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;

Mat 10:4  Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

Mat 10:5  These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

Mat 10:6  But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Mat 10:7  And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

As we study the picture in this post you will see how Israel stayed encamped around the Ark of the Covenant. (God’s House, His Temple.) They stayed close and did what was required of them from the Priests. They were a holy and sanctified people meaning, set apart, special, not like the world. What their leadership told them to do, they did.
They didn’t curse out the leadership or call them horrible names or degrade their characters. Well, not too bad anyway. Not like we do today. We are so free to do as we please aren’t we? It’s a shame how free we are, to the point where we can threaten our leaderships lives from the President to our local Pastor. Not good folks. The bible tells us that in the end times, love will wax cold. Even through this #Coronavirus, we have people who are sticking closer together but yet we have people who are spitting and coughing on fruit and vegetables in markets saying that they want others to get the virus too. A local Pittsburgh, Pa broadcaster went shopping with his mask on and he was shocked at how many people are not wearing masks! He said some were even behind him in line laughing at his mask and pretending to cough as though they had the virus. They didn’t know that he was a television type of ‘celebrity’ in our city because of the mask. He wrote about it on Facebook and was horrified at their actions.

Because of the lack of respect for leadership and the law of the land, we have innocent people and whole families dying from this spirit of death that is trying to take over the land now. People are doing whatever they whenever they want to do it with no regard to others albeit children, the elderly or widowed.

Mal 3:5  And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Jas 1:27  Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Have we gone astray from the Lord? Yes. Have we gone so far that we cannot regain our relationship with The Creator of all things? No. There is still hope and His name is Jesus the Christ. Yeshua HaMaschiach. He is the way now. We no longer need to stay close to the Camp so to speak but we need to accept Him into our lives and live like we know Him. He is our Best Friend. We need to stay close to Him and have a personal relationship with Him. He sent the Holy Spirit to us to live inside of us and teach us the way with Wisdom and Understanding of all that our Creator has for us. Once we accept Jesus we have a part of Him inside of us. The Temple went from the Table and Shewbread, that you can see and serve, to one that lives inside of you that helps you to serve others the Bread of Life – Jesus. Yes, we are the new Temple. God lives in us.

2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

1Jn 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

And to those preachers that say that asking God into your heart is the wrong way to do it, I present to you Ephesians 3:17 “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

Thank you.
