"Return to me"

🌹Good Morning!

Some of us may have had a rough couple of days but God is keeping us victorious. (Love you my friends.) 🙂 Others may not understand and some, in their busy-ness may not have even noticed but God saw it all. Some of us even woke up with “thinking” attempting to replace “praying” but cast down those bombarding imaginations and get back to the basics of life….Put GOD 1st. Come back to your first love! In the Word, Ephesus was a very rich city and wanted for nothing. They worshipped in the Temple of Diana which is like the modern day Bank of England that controls all of the wealth of the World. Ephesus (Book of Ephesians), was a sanctuary for the criminal, a refuge where no one could be arrested for any crime, causing a village of thieves and murderers to arise. People feared them. They stomped all over one another to ‘succeed’. The Apostle Paul laid his life on the line to preach to them. The people were heartless crooks, the ministers weren’t righteous. But there was that “remnant” who kept holding on. (Are you one? Are you the remnant in today’s society?) Jesus mentions them in Revelation and tells them to return to Him:

Revelation 2

1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

⇶ Jesus is saying, “Return to me.” When things happen and you can’t think of a phone number to call or everyone else is ‘busy’, open your mouth wide and call on….GOD! He ALWAYS has time for you. He is not mad at us, He loves us. A good parent loves to hear from their child anytime, day or night. It beats hearing ‘about’ them. ⤹

1 Moreover the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,

2 Thus saith the Lord the maker thereof, the Lord that formed it, to establish it; the Lord is his name;

3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
