Some tips on my recent weight-loss

I am learning something from my daughter which had proven to be true. When you are exercising with fasting, there is going to have to be at least one day that you eat more than usual. We dubbed yesterday as our ‘resting and smashing’ day and I still woke up this morning tenths of a pound lighter! My body is still burning fat.
If you don’t give your body at least one day to rejuvenate itself and ‘party’ so to speak, it will think that it is starving and will go into a “greedy” mode. You will definitely over-eat more than just the one “smashing” day. It will be like the movie, “Groundhog Day” when you keep waking up to the same weight over and over.
Watch your calories for 6 days and ‘party’ on the 7th (whichever day you choose to make your 7th). Do not “pig out” excessively but enjoy yourself on that 7th day! Philippians 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. (Please remember “moderation.”) I usually do a 1200-1400 calorie day and my 7th day is approximately 1800-2000 calories therefore that one day I am completely satisfied and my body feels ‘safe’.
Our cells have what is called “cell-memorization” and you can teach your cells to get used to the 6 days small, 7th day medium regiment. Your body will be happy to burn off all excess.
I know it sounds crazy but it’s working for me. I pray that you do it and allow it to work for you as well.
God bless,
Essie
P.S. Try to stay away from sugar replacements. Studies have shown that they cause excess weight. (Try honey, etc. Anything God-made.)
