Father God forgive us of all of our sins and shortcomings and fill us with more of you. Give us Wisdom to overcome sadness and depression, lack and loneliness. Fill our cups Lord until they run over. Jesus thank you for shedding your Blood to cover us and also thank you for giving us your Precious name to repeat time and time again with no limits. Every knee bows and every evil entity runs away from us at the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

McDonald’s new chicken wings are da bomb! Awesome!

My daughter and I took a pic of McDonald’s new chicken wings. They are very very good with a slight bite at the end. Not hot but tasty and flavorful. After we ate those in the car at one of our favorite breezy spots we ate the pumpkin pie. It was like a Soul-food Dinner! Try it. I think you’ll like it. Prices are better than KFC if I must say so myself.

I lost one of my best friends.

Pray for the Lucille English family in Canonsburg, Pa. She passed yesterday of a massive stroke. That woman was my friend when we were in grade school and after we grew up. She was sweet, loved to dance and loved the Lord. We used to have fun, clean fun. She went through a lot. It’s all finished. No more pain. She was a teeny lady with a cute smile and voice. I listened out my bedroom window as she got abused and she listened out her bedroom window as I got abused. Yet, we still made it with the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Day of Atonement

Praise God, it is the time of the Day of Atonement and God’s appointed, Fall Holy Days (Leviticus 23).

The Day of Atonement is called in Hebrew, Yom Kippur, and takes place this year on September 13th, at sunset and goes through September 14th.

We read about this feast in Leviticus 16 & 17 and in Leviticus 23:27. This is the day that the High Priest would carry the blood of the bull and goat through the veil and into the Most Holy Place in the Tabernacle- the Holy of Holies.

The High Priest of the Israelites would then pour the blood onto the altar over the Ark of the Covenant, and in doing so, make atonement for the sins of the children of Israel (Lev. 17:11). The book of Hebrews chapters 9 and 10 tell us that the blood of the bulls and the goats offered up to the LORD in the ancient Temple was a fore-shadow of the blood of Jesus. Through the death and shed blood of Jesus, we are forgiven once and for all!
