Matthew 13:58  And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

“He thinks He’s a god! Hahaha!” 

“I think carpentry has gone to His head.”

“We never could stand that know-it-all.” 

“Everybody hates Him. My whole family hates Him.”

“Don’t believe a word He says.”

“Jesus the King! That’s funny.”

“He thinks He’s all that.”

“He thinks He’s cute using those weird words.” 

“Whoremonger.”

“Wine-bibber. Drunk.”

“Playboy. All those women, He ought to be ashamed of    Himself.”

“He had the nerve to spit on someone!”

“He calls Himself a singer, a Rabbi…right!”

“I feel sorry for those dumb people who follow Him.”

Any of those sound familiar to you? That’s what some people from your own hometown say about you. There will always be doubters. There will always be those who believe the negativity just because it is “interesting scoop.”

Even Jesus couldn’t do many works in His own hometown because people just didn’t believe in Him. Crabs in the bucket syndrome. 

How far do you think they will allow you to go? Sometimes you have to wipe the dust from your feet and move with God’s Holy Spirit or get left behind yourself. (Luke 10:11)
