My son Ja’red and his girlfriend Edisa made me and my daughter so happy that we don’t know whether to laugh or cry. Well, actually I am crying tears of joy right now. Disa knows me…lol. I look at Booka Bears pictures online he is so outstanding to me. I feel as though I don’t deserve such happiness. I feel a love that was always hard for me to experience until my kids were born, and now Demi. Years ago I looked for it everywhere and couldn’t find it. All I found was rejection and teasing. My kids, Demetrius and Disa have taught me to love deeply, beyond human expectations. Just the way that Jesus wants us to love. When I see Booka’s cheeks and big eyes staring at me, I can’t help but to see my blood running through his veins.
I don’t know what the future holds for us all but I know that it is going to be excellent. Whatever his parents do is between them and the Lord. I just love them. I will watch them raise my Grandchild, and keep them in prayer. Oh do I wish them well.
May the Lord bless you all who cannot have children or grandchildren. Some of you I know personally and I think of you often. I pray that God reverses the curse in Jesus name and gives you many children, grandchildren and ‘greats’. And for those who may be experiencing family troubles right now, remember this: Trouble don’t last always.
