See the devils in your life flee!

See Your Enemies Flee Because Of Jesus
Deuteronomy 28:7
7″The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.

Some people think that Jesus and the devil are always confronting and fighting each other. But when I read my Bible, I don’t see fights between the two. What I see is the devil having to flee whenever he encounters Jesus!

Consider the demoniac from the country of the Gadarenes in Luke 8:26–39. The demons in the man begged Jesus not to torment them or send them into the abyss, but to permit them to enter a herd of swine nearby.

You see, neither the devil nor his demons can stand before Jesus. They may be able to torment people for a while, but when Jesus comes on the scene, they know that that is the end of their stay. They will have to flee! All it took was just one word from Jesus, and the entire legion of demons had to come out of the man and flee into the swine.

As a child of God, you exude a spiritual fragrance which evil spirits can detect and which causes them to tremble. It is the life of Jesus inside you. And He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) That is why no curse, spell, accusation, scandal or destruction planned against you can succeed. Your enemies may come against you one way, but the Lord will confuse them and cause them to flee before you seven ways!

Jesus paid with His life to give you this victory over your enemies. After His arrest in the garden of Gethsemane, the Jews and Gentiles were united for the first time with one common objective: Torture Jesus and have Him killed. King Herod of the Jews and Pontius Pilate of the Romans were long-time enemies, but because of Jesus, they became friends. (Luke 23:12)

My friend, Jesus’ enemies were united and had “victory” over Him. But because He triumphed over them through the cross and rose again, today, your enemies will be scattered and you will have victory over them!  (Joseph Prince Ministries)

Today’s Hebrew Lesson
The first word in today’s verse is יִיטַב / yee-tav which means that “God will do good” and comes from the root the important Hebrew word tov which means good. So, for all of you who are just waking up and reading Israel365 first thing in the morning: Bo-ker Tov!

What are your fears?

2 Timothy 1:7

{For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.}

I.  Note that the scripture in 2 Timothy 1:7 calls fear a ‘spirit’. We are surrounded by evil spirits every day that try to make us turn our backs on God.

A. God wants you to be strong and of good courage, fearlessness. Numbers 13:20, Deuteronomy 31:6, 7 and 23. Joshua 1:6, 9, 18 and 10:25, 2 Samuel 10:12, 1 Chronicles 19:13, 22:13, 28:20, Ezra 10:4, Psalms 27:14 and 31:24, Isaiah 41:6.

B. God wants us to have Spiritual Power. Say and use the name of Jesus and cover your situations with the precious blood that He shed for you and me. (Pray, bind, rebuke, chasten.)

C. God wants us to have Spiritual Sanity. 2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ…..

1. Manmade religions sometimes exalt themselves above God and cause fear.
2. Legalism, ceremonialism and ritualism causes the sin of omittance because we are so busy pleasing man sometimes that we neglect our Godly duties.

II.  Fear is the absence of Faith.

A. Either you believe God and His Word or you don’t. There is no middle ground.

B. Hebrews 11: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
