In the body of Christ, discernment is greatly needed. God gave you the gift, use it. As you can see in the scripture below, God came to Egypt in a ‘dark’ cloud, meanwhile Israel knew what was going on. He presents Himself to your enemies as the same. To you, He is the light and guides your way. He gets behind you and puts the light in front of you in order that you may be able to see. He guides your path. In other words, God has your back!

Exodus tells us that God got behind Israel to separate them from their enemies who were (and will always be) behind them. God puts your enemies in the dark so that they cannot see where you are going in life and what you are doing. The only way that they will know is if you tell them. There are just some things that you should not tell. Gossip and TMI gets people into trouble. (Too much information.)

Exodus 14:18-20

18 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:

20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

Choose the light and tell others about it (Him…..Jesus!)
