Beautiful Israel mountains picture!

All you inhabitants of the world and dwellers of the earth – you will see when the banner is hoisted up upon the mountains.
ISAIAH (18:3)

כָּל יֹשְׁבֵי תֵבֵל וְשֹׁכְנֵי אָרֶץ כִּנְשֹׂא נֵס הָרִים תִּרְאוּ
ישעיהו יח:ג

kol yosh-VAY tay-VEL ve-shokh-NAY ha-ah-RETS keen-SO nes ha-REEM tear-OO

Today’s Hebrew Lesson
The word נס / nes in today’s verse means ‘banner’ but in Hebrew it also means ‘miracle.’ Just like a banner serves a reminder to onlookers, a miracle is also meant to remind “all inhabitants of the world” that God is directing events.
