Isaiah 9:10 (The raw Essie’s Corner version)
Can a nation have religion without repentance? The answer is yes. At this very moment, America needs to repent and get right with God. Take time out and pray for our nation. God can lift his hedge of protection off of a nation of people just like He did so many times in the bible when Israel forgot Him and disrespected Him.
I believe that at 911 God lifted His hedge of protection from America. We’ve taken prayer out of schools and stopped sports teams and graduating seniors from praying. The government is trying to tell you what to preach over your pulpit now. And just think, they led us to think that there was a separation between church and state. Isn’t it something how you can get into trouble saying the “f” slang term (which is actually a bundle of sticks) towards a gay man but the “N” word is still being used for black people and is barely being discussed anymore unless it is within the same culture itself? Excuse my bluntness but it IS an issue.
I heard some very interesting information on Sid Roth today and it captured my attention to the fullest. After the 911 incident, our leaders of this nation quoted the very same scripture that Israel sinned with….Isaiah 9:10. After the fall of Israel when God struck them down for leaving Him out and ignoring Him, Israel said, “The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.” Israel’s leaders were quoting words of defiance without even realizing it. “We will rebuild” they kept saying. Changing the sycamores to cedars was a sign of rebellion, an omen of their future. It was a sign of defiance! Instead of repenting and making God number one in their nation and lives, they wanted to “rebuild.” (Pro 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.)
When the second tower fell it struck none other than a sycamore tree. This was a sign of national judgment! The U.S. Government made it a symbol of hope without even knowing that it happened to Israel as well. They lifted a huge tree in the sky on a crane and put it in the exact spot as the sycamore! They had a “Tree of Hope” ceremony with pronouncements which was actually celebrating human defiance. No one knew what they were doing. The Buttonwood Tree mentioned in the bible was used for our financial companies called “The Buttonwood Association which in turn became Wall Street. They took the actual sycamore tree and made it a bronze statue of “Hope” not understanding that the tree uprooted was a symbol of defiance and judgment. God said “I will expose it’s foundation.” (Ez 13)
Our leaders once again, prophesied without knowing, stating Isaiah 9:10. Here we have ancient Israel happening to the United States. VP Candidate John Edwards said then, “The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.” He makes a vow of judgment unknowingly. In fact, he builds his whole speech around it, speaking of the sycamore tree without even knowing what he was doing. Shortly after that, he fell into disgrace. Remember that one? I do believe it was the madam, baby and wife issue. And his wife dies of cancer years later. God rest her soul. She went through enough. Let’s go further….
The day after 911, Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle gave the exact same speech. How bizarre is that? “The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.” America is prophesying and doesn’t even know it. Tom fell into disgrace as well for the appointment of the Cabinet.
Last but not least and I will end it with this. I hope that you learned something here and that you have something to ponder upon and pray about. President Obama, yes, our President gave the exact same speech.

The Sycamore Tree
Wow, once again we have been shown a sign. And how true. We tha American people took God out of schools in the 60′s not allowing prayer at graduations, keeping church and state separated and last but not least not allowing our Chaplins at the for front of a battle field to pray in the name of Jesus! What happen America? RISE UP AND SLEEP NOT! Keep Jesus in your lives even when the Government says not too. Pray for this government. Put Christian men and women in office that will stand up for the word of God. Real men and woman that will not lean to the right then lean to the left. That will quoate the Bible not the Koran as our President does. WE ARE ONE NATION UNDER GOD! TAKE IT BACK AMERICA!!!!!
