Denification, a new word.

Denification: the act of denying Jesus. 1st Timothy 2:5 states “for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

May this sentence give those who need it an inkling of inspiration and wisdom from God’s heavenly Kingdom. Jesus tells us Himself in Rev 3:8 to not deny His name. Contrary to popular opinion, it is NOT His mother, or His cousins or His uncles. It is Jesus. There is only one way to Heaven and His name is Jesus. There is only one mediator between us and God….Jesus. Jesus can either be your stepping stone or your stumbling block. It depends on which way you go with Him. John 10:7-9 says, “then said Jesus unto them again, ‘verily, verily’ I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.  All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door, by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd, the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling and not the shepherd, whose own sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming and leaveth the sheep and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and sattereth the sheep.  The hireling fleeth because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.  I am the good shepherd and know my sheep and am known of mine. as the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.”

I. Jesus as your stepping stone.

Let’s look at what the dictionary says about a stepping stone. Random House dictionary says exactly two things about it. 1. it is stepped on in crossing a stream. 2. it is any means of advancement or improvement. Interesting….

You are at a stream, you don’t want to get wet or be submerged so therefore, what do you do? You walk up and down the somewhat raging stream to look for that perfect rock that you can step on in order for you to continue your journey. We must not forget in this rough life of ours that Jesus is our rock to get to the other side. When you accept Jesus as your Savior, it doesn’t get easier. He has made it so that we would need Him every step of the way. That’s Wisdom. The song says, “I go to the Rock of my salvation, I go to the stone which the builders rejected, I go to the Mountain and the Mountain stands by me. When all around is sinking sand, on Christ the solid rock I stand, when I need a shelter, when I need a friend, I go to the Rock.” (And we are not talking about Dwayne Johnson from the WWF/WWE wrestling show either.) Even though I really do like him, he can’t take us to Heaven.

For all of you out there reading this who want to get anywhere in life, you must first go to the Rock. There is no shortcut. There is no other way. Notice the second description in the dictionary said, ‘any means of advancement or improvement’. If you want to advance spiritually which we all know surpasses the physical by a long shot, you need to have the Mediator in your life. Jesus must be present. I don’t concern myself with ‘who has more than me or what they have’ I concern myself with how much of Jesus I have in my body which is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Stop worrying about all those cars, swimming pools, and double door garages and concern yourself with spiritual things around you. You can be rich as a Sheik, but if you don’t have Jesus, you are dirt poor spiritually. You’re weak! So stop stepping up in everybody else’s face telling us how much you have, and don’t even have a pot to tithe in. You better come on somebody and get on the right side in this life, cause on the other side of the grave, there are no more chances.

II. Jesus as your stumbling block.

Please turn to Romans 9:33 “As it is written, Behold I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offence, and whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.” That speaks of your saving Faith. You have to have faith in Jesus. Not wood, stubble or stone. You can rub Buddah‘s belly all you want and that is not going to change your life one iota. I guess Tina Turner would sing, “what’s love go to do with it?” if she’s sitting up there rubbing on Buddah’s belly! Buddah doesn’t know how to love, he’s a simple statue with no power. Mohammed didn’t lay his life down to save anyone from their sins. And Arnold Swartzenegger isn’t doing so well right now either. But folks voted them all in as their representation. Watch who represents you. Who is your representation? Everybody is sitting around, lost in the sauce, rubbing lucky charms, trying to change their luck. You are supposed to eat Lucky Charms not rub them!

Turn to 1 Peter 2. Read verses 1-11 Take some time on the “stone/stones” parts. Verse 5 = we can step on each other as being “lively stones” as in helping one another. Verse 8 we can be a stone of stumbling, a rock of offence.

I was watching the video about Oprah Winfrey telling people that she didn’t believe that Jesus was the only way to Heaven. She said that there must be millions and millions of ways to Heaven.  A bold lady said, “but Oprah, what about Jesus?” Oprah boldly and foolishly said, “What about Jesus?” The lady explained to the Queen of Daytime T.V. that Jesus is the only way to Heaven and He’s not coming back until we’ve told everyone about Him. I applaud the bold lady who stood up for Jesus in front of the richest woman in the world at that time. Right after that, a store in Paris would not open up for Oprah to shop. Did she expect it to? Then she began to have problems with the girls homes and schools that she built in Africa. The teachers were molesting the girls!  When you don’t have Jesus as your covering, who do you think is going to watch over your stuff? Maybe she thought that the gods of the millions of ways would watch over her girls schools. I truly believe that after that Oprah lost her favor with God. I was undone over it all. Such wise men can be so foolish. When you are in a place of position like that where you can become the ‘voice’ for the Lord, you have to be careful with what you do and say. People are watching and following in your footsteps. Ask me how I found out. Oprah better be careful with her Angel Network too because God tells us not to worship angels. Just the way that she dissed Jesus in public, she needs to apologize publicly. When she ended her show recently, she said some nice ‘stuff’ but I am talking about a full, on-air apology to Jesus. Wait, then again, she may lose all of her money if she did that huh? Oh well! Her decision. The Buddhists and Muslims may get mad at her.

With all of my readers and friends that I have made since being on the net in 2003, if I say one wrong word or concept, I can mislead hundreds of people. God only knows the numbers. I refuse to do my own thing. God gives me the liberty to describe Him in my own personality as long as I do it biblically. Our ministry has gotten people saved from all over the world and now is not the time to mess up. I actually have C.D.’s of people typing on the screen that they want to accept Jesus during our bible studies that we do online. We now do them by phone but I may go back online again.  I like to see them ‘say’ it as well as speaking it. God is good.
